This was the worse restaurant experience in my life. We arrived about 25 minutes late for a 7pm reservation but the hotel concierge said he would call and let them know. When we arrived, the main dining room looked filled (about 95% Americans lol), and they led us to a small back room with about 4 tables. I'm fluent in French, and asked the waiter if there was something else, to which he rudely replied "No and you were late". When I told him that the hotel had called, he said no call was received. I then said that was no way to speak to a client of the restaurant, but we decided to stay and make the best of it. Then things went further downhill when the maitre d' came marching back and, without a word, showed me the reservation book not indicating a call from the hotel. He was so rude that we decided to leave. On the way out, I asked the maitre d' for his name, and he got up in my face and asked me to "look him in the eyes", and then asked "if I wanted to continue the discussion outside". It was like a scene out of a bad movie --I've never experience such rude service in my life. When the hotel concierge called later that evening to follow up, he said that the maitre d' was very belligerent to him as well. Having had 6 great dinners at other places during our stay in Paris, there are MANY finer choices than this tourist trap which has seen better days!

Le Souffle was the restaurant I most anticipated eating at prior to visiting Paris. Well I was underwhelmed. I did the 3 course meal and felt like the souffles were rushed because they were more wet in the middle than I would have preferred. Also, I don t feel like the flavors were there. After taking a few bites, the taste became nauseating. Plus, the savory and sweet ones all tasted the same (Henri IV, cheese, grand mariner). I don t understand all of the hype because there was nothing great about anything that I ate.

Souffle for starter, main and desert...as you might expect! Although the roquefort and pear wasn't to my taste, my girlfriend loved it. Really liked the chocolate souffle desert. All cooked perfectly.

This place is the reason I'll return to Paris. The souffles are unique and excellent. A meal of 3 is very filling. The staff was impressively responsive to email about reservations, replying at all hours with relevant and helpful information.

Read their replies to bad reviews for some entertainment, they are hilarious.

A wonderful dining experience next to Place Vendome and the famous Rue Cambon.
Service is friendly and formal. Make a reservation online in advance, if you can. Escargots were delicious, as was the French onion soup.
Grand Marnier souffle is a must-have at the end of the meal. They leave the bottle with you at the table!

Best souffles ever! And great service too. Must have reservations though. We got lucky as we were the first patrons there and there was one open table. Even on a rain drenched night, so many people had to be turned away.

Good service, nice ambience and authentic, fluffy souffle.

There are sweet and savoury options. We tried the chicken and mushroom souffle, and the foie gras and fig jam. For desserts, we tried the grand marnier one. Everything was really good.
We highly recommend this restaurant.

This is a great place serving a French specialty, and they do it well. Reserve in advance as this place fills up. They allowed us to share a set menu between two people, which helped us. They have seatings at 7pm and 9 pm. The staff is helpful and the food is great.

The souffles are enormous and delicious. This is a very charming place for lunch. We had a savory souffle followed by a sweet one, with a salad and bottle of wine. It was all quite delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly.

Love sweet, can't miss

Love sweet, can't miss
There are also salty flavors to choose from, great.

Amazing!!!

Amazing!!!

Make sure your order the Grand Manier for dessert. It's one of a kind.

Love this place!

Love this place!

Best restaurant in Paris I think, because for me, the typical "good french restaurant" doesn't make me feel better.

Cosy atmosphere and staff were good to me though I visit without reservation, alone

Good news to you all, you can order additional source for free!

The welcome was perfect: no trace of snobbery or coldness. The waiters were very friendly. The decor is very traditional but like being at home.

The meal was very good. The green salad lacked a little taste but the lettuces were fresh. The bread is very very delicious.

Restaurant that specializes in the venerable fluffy French souffle. Their menu has a wide range of dishes from savoury to sweet that all contain souffle. There is even a set menu where every dish has some sort of souffle for 37 euros. My partner and I started with half a dozen escargot and a French onion soup. The escargot was good, but the French onion soup was not. The soup was quite sour, tasting more like tomato soup than onion soup, and the cheese was slightly burnt. For mains we had the beef bourguignon souffle and the chicken mushroom souffle. The dishes came as a souffle with a side of stewed beef or chicken to pour into the souffle. While I applaud them for being creative in making savoury souffle, and for changing what they added to the plain souffle to make it match the sauce, in reality the savoury souffle tasted strange. Our grand marnier dessert souffle was good. They literally gave you a bottle of grand mariner to add to your dessert as you like it. This time the souffle tasted appropriate with the grand marnier as a dessert. Overall the dishes were hit or miss. I would stick to the traditional dessert souffle.

Souffle is the most delicious dessert

Souffle is the most delicious dessert
I'm tired of eating souffle for a meal ...

Gourmet cuisine, onion soup
The sweet souffle is so delicious
If you order one onion soup, it is distributed in a bowl.
(This is really delicious)

I think it would be better not to use Seturo as a single item!

Make a reservation and go.

Very good experience! The souffle is a little different from what we are used to (the consistency is a bit smaller), but we like it differently - the internal filling is very tasty (meat) but the amount of meat is not More

I had never tried souffle, and so I had the 3 courses of souffle. All good, loved the goats cheese with beets, but wish I had the chocolate one for dessert (although the full bottle of Grand Marnier with the souffle was too hard to resist).

We had the "Tout de Souffle" menu, which is the most souffle I've ever had in one go. The cheese starter and caramel dessert were the ones I enjoyed most. Like an echo of a childhood breakfast cereal ad I did find myself wondering if I could actually eat three souffles but the answer turned out to be yes.
