The French man working there who greets and sits customers is incredibly rude and pompous, I know this place is popular with tourists and social media folks but please don't treat foreigners with such disdain.

Fantastic souffles and excellent French hospitality. All the staff were lovely. This place was so good that I came back to Paris from Australia just to eat here again.
First, let me say that I wholeheartedly recommend this place and would come back without question. I wish I could give it 4.5 instead of 4. In fairness, I've only eaten here once and rating any restaurant bases on a single experience isn't the best practice.
The onion soup- good flavor, not as hot as it should have been (but not cold - minor complaint), a little lacking on color (onions could have stood a bit more Browning before adding the stock when making the soup), and it had a stem from the thyme in my portion. Minor nits on all counts. Overall, very good.
The beef bourguignon - excellent flavor. The fresh pasta was very nice. Tourneed veg was a nice, classic touch. Only complaint is that one piece of beef was slightly dry. Not a huge issue, but that one piece was not quite as succulent as the rest. There are a couple of things that can cause this during the braising process, and given it was only one piece it seems to me to have been an accident rather than general poor execution.
