Excellent customer service, accurate reports and great pricing for tenant screening (credit scores, credit reports and background checks). I'm a property manager, and they have been my screening company of choice for over two years and I could not be happier.

Our property management company has used the services of Resident Research for close to 4 years. The screen system is online and super easy to use. We even signed up for their feature where we can have our tenant apply online to rent and once they submit and pay their application fee the information is sent to Resident Research and they automatically run the credit, background report, etc. They then send us a nice organized report that we are able to provide to our property owners to make a decision as to whether to rent to that person or not. Once we have narrowed down a candidate, Resident Research will even do a rental verification and employment verification for us. Resident Research does the leg work for us so screening prospective tenants is something we don't have to work any more. I would highly recommend checking out Resident Reseach, you'lll be glad you did.

I am a landlord that uses their service to perform credit checks. When prospective tenants apply online, we are due part of the application fee. They consistently hold our portion for 45-60 days. I have tried to talk to the person in their billing department and she almost never calls me back. I have tried to talk to management and supervisors about this procedure. I am still owed money from August 31, 2019 and it is now October 22, 2019. I am now looking for a new company to conduct our credit checks. I am highly dissatisfied with this company and dissuade any landlord from using them.

Resident Research has become short-staffed due to ...

Resident Research has become short-staffed due to COVID and stopped processing applications without informing clients. We've had tenants apply for properties 6 days ago, and as-of today, Resident Research has not even attempted to verify their employment or residency. Instead of doing the right thing and informing us, their clients, about the delay, they said nothing. I could have been calling these applicants myself, verifying myself, but I was not given a single opportunity to do so because Resident Research has hidden the truth from clients instead of being transparent and honest about their difficulties. We've now lost applicants and a week of vacancy due to this. Poor service, poor practice, lack of professionalism from R.R. I've been a client for over 6 years - we are done - I will find another company to handle our needs. It's just an incredibly disappointing way to end this relationship. Poor form, R.R. And you know it...

Don't do business here. Bad experience with this company. When I reversed my payment ($60) with the bank, Resident Research pursued with their collection agency with erroneous fees totaling ($105).

I would give them 0 if I could, recently applied for apartment, main applicant is my husband, they still called me and basically harassed me about why I don t have a job, will I get a job after I relocate to place I applied, my husband is making more than enough to pay any expenses. Mind your own business and don t harass people, you don t know me, you don t know why I don t have a job, and hell it s definitely not your problem will I have a job or not. That company should be sued and shut down!!!!

WOW! What an experience! This company is TRASH! They said I had discrepancies trying to verify my income after speaking to my manager!!! Which lead to a denial for the rental company! I called to straighten things out and talked to James who was HIGHLY unprofessional and told me he didn t work for me and couldn t disclose what was in their files. After telling him this is MY information and there shouldn t be anything that cant be discussed with me he finally started talking... stupid! He didn t make any sense with his argument, he said it didn t add up and when I started to do the math for him, he didn t want to hear it! Overall HORRIBLE experience.. no one needs this in the midst of looking for a home, that s enough stress in itself! If you find a home that uses this company to check your info. LOOK AGAIN! They just want your app fee money! NEVER AGAIN

Resident Research company needs to update their re...

Resident Research company needs to update their records. They are reporting old information for tenants background checks. I called to tell them the information was incorrect instead of fixing them, Kirsten who stated she was the manager hung up on me. They blame applicants as they are the cause of inaccurate information. Resident Research is a company that uses Jim Crow law to keep minorities out of white neighborhoods. Background Checks and Credit Reports from Resident Research should be reviewed since they are not using proper databases. Please by advised that there are reports against them with the Better Business Beau and The Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968)
