Fantastic place and location only thing I did not appreciate was the fact they take and keep your credit card throughout your stay. Not used to that and in this day and age not a nice feeling.

The atmosphere there is phenomenon with the most attractive staff at plenty of Professional. I was there for Business but I opinionate that it is not just for Business, here is also for Leisure with family and private trip for couples. Also, I get many of comments regarding of transportation from S'pore's downtown core to RSYC, but if you manage time well enough for the shuttle bus which is located at HDB 324 just beside of Clementi MRT Station, you should be fine with local transportation between Downtown core to RSYC.

A long established members yacht club with quite alot of both dry and wet berths available for owners boaters to moor or keep their boats. The club has completed installation of a wave breaker a few months ago and so the marina is now well protected and boats in the wet berths are now free of violent rolling. Would have been better if the pontoons and facilities can be improved and defects made good.

Apart from the fact that they have most of what you need if you own a boat, I really don't like their location being so far away from everything, and that the restaurant is so expensive for what they're serving ($2 for a bottle of normal mineral water). They have most of what you need as a family - playground, pool, kids facilities, etc. And the highlight is definitely if you have a boat / yatch, that you drive out into the ocean.

Here for the sunset staycay cruise promo. Room is just average, good enough for rest with working A/C and toilets. Cruise was great, only downside was the area is cluttered with refineries thus the petrol/chemical smell lingers in the air.

A comfortable place to keep your yacht at the western coast of Singapore, with a view of Jurong Island. Scenery may pale a bit compared to other clubs, but this place is relatively easier to get to and the facilities here are adequate, with a restaurant, gym and swimming pool.

Great place for a quick lunch. Fairly reasonable prices for good sized portions, serving mostly local food. Relaxing ambience and view, especially with the current cool weather spell in December/Jan. Lunch with the wind in your hair!

Vulnerable yacht club of Sg.

Vulnerable yacht club of Sg.
boaters charter their boats to divers/visitors to Pulau Hantu or neighbouring isles.
cafe serves decent food but not great. prices are average for Clubs
Changing rooms smells really bad. either time to change sewage pipings or wat
don't have the feel good factor here tho.
oh.. and parking charges are really ridiculous for weekends parking for guests
guess not enuff money generating revenues so easiest to do is charge high for guest parking.

"The club has its founding roots with men who were part of Sir Stamford Raffles initial voyage to the island. William Montgomerie served as the first president of the club from 1826. It was initially known as the Singapore Yacht Club, but changed its name to the Royal Singapore Yacht Club in 1922...."

I've visited the lower deck restaurant a few times a year for the past 4-5 years. The view of the marina is pleasant and there tends to be a bit of wind which helps to make the outdoor seating comfortable.
The service is generally friendly but not always competent and young staff often have to refer to a senior.
The food is decent but I often get disappointed given the nice settings. One of their main features on the menu is where your own pick of meat is BBQ'ed and it comes together with a side dish buffet. The buffet has been a bit poor in quality and lacked refilling but that seems resolved lately. The meat is generally high quality. The other day I ordered grilled cod. The poor delicate fish came back smothered in brown sauce. As such the kitchen just generally lacks focus, which is sad given the potential.
