Beautiful hotel located right next to the ocean. It's a bit off-site, so if you're looking for a place in a bustling neighborhood, this might not be the best place to stay in Singapore. But if you enjoy a quiet environment to relax, nice food, free gym and wifi, make sure to check out the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. Pro tip: There is a beautiful park just around the corner with a beautiful coastal walkway. And if you get the munchies for some western food at night, there is a 24/7 McDonald's right in the middle of the park. :)
The food is not bad but a bit pricey for its quality. Worth it when you consider it as waterfront dining.
Good ambience for a quiet eat and drink with nice scenery.
I had a enjoyable stay at the yacht club. The hospitality was warm and friendly. There is room for improvement on the menu.
Pleasant reception staff. Nice, clean rooms, pretty senery.
So happy that the public bar and restaurant (upstairs) is open to non members again! This is the first time we have been back in a couple of years and it was great! Awesome pizza and the draught peroni was on great form!
The Atmosphere is Great & Very Relaxing! Not forgetting the Food, Staff & other Members are friendly too.
The yacht that we charter to go fishing on the Southern Islands is docked here. Water quality near the pontoons can be improved / cleaned more frequently.
Great amenities. Very nice food and drink. Very calming atmosphere.
I do not recommend this place if you want to berth your boats. You are better off with professionally run clubs like Raffles Marina, One Degree or Keppel. Loud uncles like to gather at the 2nd floor pub/restaurants and talk like it's in their home. The entire club can hear them. It brings down the entire ambience/class of the place. Not to mention the dramas in club management.
Go to a marina that is properly run like a proper enterprise.
Gate guard exceptionally rude. If this is how guests are treated at the gate, well good luck.
My club for many years, though i dont sail. Foodsl's great n gym's nice too.
This morning a group of friends went to Tuas fishing.
Now at sea
Relaxing, good food,
Nice place to if you are a student
Good view and great food that's reasonably priced! Still my favourite spot in Singapore
Friendly services, the starting point of a boating adventure..
Had lunch at The Wharf. Was there earlier and managed to get a table with view of the sea/yachts. Nice sea breeze and food was good. Good place to chit chat or gathering given the open space.
Buffet lunch was good. Posted photos. Sunday Lunch Buffet was $15.90 for Adults. Spread was good for that price.
Relaxing place with seafood restaurants. Anglers charter boat for leisure or fishing.
security guard made me waste 45 mins standing at the main gate . me and my friend are both supposed to wait inside to eat but he made me stand outside just for my friend and I to go in together
Got to savour fresh fish from our own fishery at Kuhlbarra. It was indeed an eye opening experience
The staff here really are terrible. For such an expensive membership they aren t interested in helping at all. As a fitness club, it s under-maintained and tired.
Definitely great value for money. More than affordable food that tastes great. Local fare. Seafood bbq on the weekends( call to confirm, just in case.)
And scenery that makes you feel like you're at a beach resort... Win win if u ask me.
Staff are friendly and professional.
the facilities are terrible and the food at the restaurant isnt great
Reasonably priced food in a quiet setting with echoes of the eighties from the furniture to the sailor uniforms of the waiters. Its actually quite a pleasant dining experience if the weather is cool and not too humid. The food is tasty and the menu selection comprehensive. Look out for the weekday specials as they are good value. Don't expect anything too progressive...remember its the eighties.
If you don't like crowds and noise, this is THE place for you!
An average place to hangout with friends - slightly noisy with the boats at the waterfront restaurant. transportation is not convenience
Been a member since 5 years ago, love the place. Quiet and pool is always empty. Wharf s food is good! Fish head curry is awesome, Hokkien mee and Ayam curry. Yummmm
Cosy and close to nature place. Friendly crew and customer service counter people.
But the PSA port will make the place not so nature anymore.
They've got "hotel" rooms, gym, restaurants, swimming pool, dry berths & wet berths and are mainly for members only. They've a nice marina that's nearest to local dive sites like Pulau Hantu and Pulau Salu so it's the best place to charter a boat to dive in terms of distance. They host sailing regattas and commodore's day carnivals. They've got friendly staff too. Will be back again sometime
This is an ideal place for a drink, as it's open and airy, drinks very reasonably priced during happy hour. Open to the public , except on Friday evenings and weekends when it's members only.
Nice Seaview. Nice food n beverage on level 2, The Bridge Bistro & Beacon Bar.
Good food. Service could be better. Nice atmosohere.
Founded in 1826, the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club in Asia and the only members-owned yacht club in Singapore. In August 1999, the move to the new Clubhouse and Marina at West Coast, brought better berthing, marine, recreational facilities, and it's own RSYC hotel for the members-owned yacht club.
Excellent restaurant upstairs and the service is impeccable.
Wonderfully quiet place to stay. At the park. Beautiful rooms. Dinner at the Italian restaurant in the evening. Very nice view of the harbor.
The hotel is nice, good pool, and good service. It's a bit far from the city though
Nice yacht club for social events and relaxing. Great amenities and many function rooms to keep your events at. A bit of a downside is that the location is a bit hard to get to, but they do offer complimentary shuttle bus from the nearby mrt station if you don t have access to your own car or won t come with taxi etc.
A bad experience with the marina. I wanted a place to berth my boat. Called the marina to get a rate before getting its membership. They have no basis on the pricing, like the size of boat etcetera, but insist on pictures and model... sent them email with details and no response. After many calls and waited over a week, came back with a ridiculous price.
Further email has not receive response from them. Probably a yamaha half cabin speedboat is not something worth working on.
Rich man club, join them if you are rich and many spare cash.
I've been to this place since I was a child. Love the food, the gym, the awesome pool.
Great place for close friends to catch up.
The service is very good. The toilet smell very nice.
Only walked through as need a member to sign you into downstairs restaurant. Seems like a nice older world club. Cheap but quality food and drink prices, with great service and facilities. The Bridge Bistro upstairs requires no membership; nice touch for visitors.
Cozy and quite place. Can see many yachts and enjoy relax.
Dinning and enjoyed watching the breathtaking sunset scenery in front. of us
Surprising laid back club. Nice cosy restaurants on level 1 and 2. Bar at level 2 has a nicer sunset view.
The foods was acceptable, not really good.
The service was bad, as the security guard refused to allow my friends and I to drive in and park at the car park, even though we have a function in the club.
Friendly Staff and great for hosting launches, seminars and parties.
