Andersen has been our window and patio door supply partner for many years. We know the quality and effort that goes into each window and we love being able to say that our products are made by people that live in the local area. The work isn't that physically exhausting but they lack the sufficient number of employees with the knowledge and experience to run the amount of equipment they want to so the workload tends to be more then what it should be per individual and the hours are long and there's always mandatory forced overtime every single week.....and the breaks are wayyyy too short, especially the 20 min unpaid lunch break, it's bad enough that we don't get paid for it but they should at least give us the time to be able to enjoy it! Nonetheless, it is solid employment that pays fairly well for entry-level positions with a company that is thriving even throughout the pandemic!

We purchased a home in 2001. In 2015 we noticed the vinyl clad on the outside of the windows is cracking. Anderson windows did a patch repair. now 5 years later the same thing is happening. I called Anderson Windows customer service and they did not help in any way just stating that this is not covered for any warranty. After researching we found that this is a common failure in their windows. They have stopped producing the patch they used 5 years ago. We have to pay to have our windows repaired. This is a known problem and they are ignoring it. This is not how you treat customers that invest in homes. I will never use another Anderson product as they do not stand behind them. Built in the North and fail in the North.

After 2 calls and a submitted request to have Andersen help pay for the repairs of a KNOWN issue, they denied the simple request. We personally had to pay for a issue that Andersen and the repair company admits. I will NEVER use another Andersen window or door. No Dedication-to the customer.

This company has reasonably good products but, let the buyer beware. They have no service department nor any mechanism to take care of problems with their products when they arise.

We built a home with Andersen 400 windows throughout. We have an elevated gable that needed ventilation and purchased a remote opening awning style window. This ceased working after 2 1/2 years. I have been trying for a year and a half to get someone with knowledge of this product to repair it. Andersen first sold me a new battery, which did nothing. They send out guides that do not match the model of my window. They have told me on several occasions to contact an electrician. My electrician says that there was full power to the window and to the operator and that the product is faulty. They will not stand behind it. Specifically, I was told by Philip Mueller that he could not provide me with anyone that knows something about this product for repair. I am not even asking for them to cover the cost. They just don t have anyone who can help you with a problem with their product. Apparently, this company just sells things. They don t stand behind them at all.

I replaced all of my windows this past year. Andersen was my choice for the garage replacement - I know they are quality and they actually had the size I needed stocked. It looks great and functions extremely well.

We have decades of experience with Andersen. Andersen truly sets the standard for window and door performance, features, and aesthetics and are the leading brand to whom all other brands work to compare. If your builder isn't using Andersen windows and doors, please ask why.
