Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center Review

A busy hotel that hosts many private events for locals -- from Sweet Sixteens to Golden Anniversaries, the Renaissance will be busy during a weekend stay. Brace yourself.

Plenty of eats and shopping steps away -- a Super Target is next door for any last minute needs. Just plan accordingly because a quick in and out shopping run is unrealistic.

Pretty hotel. Loud though. Room wasn't ready for check in until 530 despite being told it would ready at 3.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Room service breakfast was reasonably priced, well prepared and delivered by a very well mannered young man.

Went for a social event. Big parking lot to fit the huge conference center.

Very place. Bathrooms are clean and furniture is also.

I like the facilities they are a little bit outdated but very well maintained, pool is great but not that big, it is indoor so don't need to worry about weather, the gym is ok but I would like some other machines available, my room was nice comfortable and with a balcony with great view to the city, tv and entertainment system up to date, WiFi and wired connection available in the room both fast and reliable, I think the hotel in general has great amenities and well maintained but it would be great to see some renovations.

I have been a Marriott member for years. This hotel would not clean rooms or change trash or towels in the rooms. Ran out of toilet paper as well. I believe this property is under managed. Bathrooms need repairs such as clean caulk. Our room must not have been cleaned when we arrived because we had to clean everything ourselves to include cleaning hair off of the bathroom floor. Small amount of mold in the bathroom as well. Rooms are obviously older and you can tell they try however it appears that they are not servicing rooms due to covid-19. Typically when we arrive at a Marriott they see that we are gold elite they great you as such. Staff seemed bothered that we were there. Other staff members were decent. Unfortunately we would not recommend this Marriott. No upgrades were offered and I was pretty disappointed. We went through 3 containers of clorox wipes cleaning our room when we arrived. Didn't feel anything would have been changed if we approached the front desk about our concerns. If covid-19 was the reason rooms were not being cleaned we should not see staff around others wiout masks. Trash in the hallway and outside of doors, towels in the pool area were all soiled. If it was a covid-19 concern you would think that they would have a better system in place for soiled linens and cleaning of public areas. Didn't see anyone cleaning public areas our entire stay. Why do we continue to stay at Marriott???????? I'm thinking it's time for a different brand.

The conference room was the right size for a medium and large group. The service was superb and the food was amazing.

Was there for Holiday Youth Convention. The hotel lobby was very clean and looked very professional. Have not stayed at the hotel, but I would consider doing so if I was in the area and in need of a hotel.

I came down with a group for a bowling tournament on Oct 30. We got up Sat morning the 31st, left our room early, went bowling, shopping,and grabbed a bite to eat. Upon returning to our room, we found room service had not been performed. The room had not been cleaned, dirty towels were still left on the floor, trash was not emptied. We would liked to have the coffee supply replenished, but it wasn't. We went down to the front desk, informed the personal at the front desk of our displeasure and ask for those things to be done.

The only reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 4-5, is because lack of room service. And no, we did not leave the do not disturb sign on our door, as someone at the front desk suggested we might have done. We left our room at 7:45 am and didn't return until 6:15 pm, plenty of time for all of that to have been done. Other than that we had a comfortable stay.

The hotel seems nice, and the convention area is rather nice and fairly large. The Hotel parking is decent, and the hotel itself is average. It's pushed back from the main road so access isn't fantastic, yet it sits right next to the highway, which is less ideal.

There was enough signage to easily find my way to the Job Faor hosted in Studio 1.

The location was very easy to find, room was clean hotel in general was very well maintained. Employees all greet you if they see you. I like that they have parking lot security. Not to sure on the regular price per night as I believe I got a discount for being part of the convention. Be ready to drop a fortune on incidentals deposit. Oh and no complementary breakfast. I don't know maybe it's just me but when I pay that kind of money I expect at least complementary breakfast. Not a $20 breakfast buffet. To be honest I think I'd rather of stayed at the Best Western. Two days and still waiting on deposit hold to drop.

Food was great, serving staff was friendly, conference hall was perfect! Just wish they had free wifi

Super experience there for the Tulsa Chamber of Commerce annual awards. We did lunch & the food we very good if a bit cold. The service was snappy & the facility is nice. Parking was the worst though--super limited due to other events & it was cold & rainy which made it worse to walk.

The hotel was very nice and elegant. Rooms were very nice. Only one problem stood out, and that was that dishes were left in the hallway for over 24 hours before room service removed them. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Disappointed. Overall the hotel was nice and the rooms were comfortable. My experience was tainted by an interaction with a manager. I inquired about getting shuttle service to the airport for a 10:30 am Saturday flight. The manager informed me the shuttle wasn't available until 11 am. I asked if he would pay for the cab ride, he refused. I walked away and looked up the website, and it mentioned Airport shuttle M-Su 6:30a-10:30p. I showed the manager the page and he said fine, if you want a cab, I'll book you a cab.

The facility is nice. This hotel specializes in catering to pets. I'm allergic to pet dander. After one night there, my eyes are burning and my nose is very stuffy. Last night while walking in the room without shoes, I stepped in a wet stain on the carpet. I assume that it was dog urine. I had no idea that they catered to the pet industry. I arrived about 9:00pm and was very tired and exhausted from a hard day. I just didn't have the energy to look for another hotel.

There was animal pee in the elevators and in the corridors. If you don't like to walk in animal pee, then stay somewhere else. I'm very disappointed in this hotel.

I don't typically stay in "fancy" hotels because I prefer saving money, but good goly molly. This place is amazing and super well priced. Definitely staying here again next time.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and spacious. Bar is extremely pricey, won't be going back to the bar.

This hotel has gone down hill rapidly...food was lousy, rooms are not clean... found 18 years of dust under the front of the bed! Discusting!

They won't sell tickets for the masqued ball anywhere but online.

We booked a 3 day stay to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was not very hospitable. You would think with the place half empty there would not be an issue with getting help but it was the exact opposite. We left our key cards in the room on accident and went out for the night. When we arrived earlier in the morning we realized we needed to get a new key card. When we asked the lady up front she acted as if we was interrupting something important and we was bothering her. Then she tells us that the room number we gave her is not under our name. After arguing the fact that all of our stuff was in there and showing her where we had booked it half an hour later we find all got into our room. Was supposed to be something nice for our anniversary and spent alot of money on it and I'm very dissatisfied and don't know if we will be staying here again nor recommending it to anyone else

it's a nice enough hotel, but that's all. it's clean and convenient to all the shopping etc on 71st street. the hotel staff is adequate, however they don't go out of their way to be more.

Fantastic venue to hold an event. Seemed little communication between sales who negotiated the contract details and the staff who were to actually fulfil it. And nobody was in any rush to meet our pre arranged schedule.

Frustrated. Reserved a upper floor concierge balcony room a month ago. When I arrived I was told there were none available. This was for supposed to for a special occasion for my daughter. What's the point of reservations if the room I reserve is not going to be available?

This hotel USED to be my first choice when in the Tulsa area. This hotel USED to be my recommendation when colleagues needed to stay overnight in Tulsa. In the last few months that I have stayed here I have had terrible service. Customer service at this hotel now ranks as one of the worst I have experienced. I will no longer look to stay at this hotel when needing to do an overnight in Tulsa and will no longer recommend this hotel to my colleagues or anyone else for that matter. Disaapointed.

Attended a comic con here. Very clean facility and extremely helpful staff. Lots of parking with well-lit lots. Floors are easy to navigate with amenities well labeled. I was here for 3 days and have no complaints regarding the venue. Everyone was very nice.

Attended a conference/trade show here. Service personnel were extremely polite and friendly, and the facilities seemed very will maintained.

It's a nice hotel. It has a big salt water swimming pool that everyone can enjoy.

This was a great venue for the conference I attended. There was plenty of space for everyone. The food and service was good.

It was OK, but they could not get the house music turned down in a timely manner and the bathrooms were very dirty. The catered meal was lacking visual appeal and was bland beyond having too much garlic.

Room was big and clean, staff was attentive, there's a really pretty pond in the lobby area that adds nice atmosphere

Good, but not great hotel. Housekeeping is very slow, for one. The hotel should be quiet, but road house invades. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part.

Attended Tulsa Bridal Show. The event was well organized and put together. Facilities were very nice.

Had an issue with our initial hotel and arrived here with a weary crew. Taylor at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and super helpful. Plenty of space and amenities. Recommend!

Rude ppl, we made reservations months in advance and we never got a room we were blown off.

Didn't stay in the hotel, was there for a convention with the company I work for. Everyone was incredibly nice, very clean, even the bathrooms! We also had lunch there and it was amazing!

The catering was top notch. All areas where clean and very presentable

Only stayed one night, but I was reasonably pleased with the furnishings available in the room. All hotel amenities met my expectations; with a couple exceptions. My room seemed to have poorly regulated temperature, forcing me to change the fan to 'on' rather than 'auto' for the A/C. Also, I find it surprising that the ventilation fan in the bathroom was removed at some point; but that's minor.

Great room, terribly front desk staff. Room was very roomy and clean.

Good food, good workers. Hotel was being used by a large event so there were some problems with all guests having to use only three elevators, but staff strive to make it work. This problem could be avoided if first floor had direct access to the stairs, especially for guests who are just on the second floor.
