Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel Review

I lived in it for 5 days, its location is good and the rooms are spacious
Rooms are not cold and pillows are not comfortable. He was smuggling water into the bathroom

5 mins walk to petronas twin towers and views to die for with full resort facilities - wow

Check in and check out was smooth. No deposit needed. Thanks to receptionist gave me a room with KL towel view!
Great location, Bukit Nanas Monorail just opposite the hotel. Right at CBD area.
Room was spacious but not sound proof. I could hear sound from the cleaner and door opening+closing in the morning.
Bed sheet was not clean enough. A little smelly with some spots on the sheet. And pillow case. Ordered room service in the middle of night, service was quick however sandwich was not hot enough to my liking. But overall great service!
Great big pool and gym, with sauna and jacuzzi. Spacious and great service! Would come back again but hope the room cleanliness can improve further.

Today we left the Hotel but unfortunately my friend forget his wallet in his room in which he has about RM3000 and USD and cash cards. He went back and the receiptionist and House Keeper handover his wallet back. Clean and calm envoirnment. Best place to stay in Kuala Lampur

Good Hotel and affordable, the lobby bars are nothing but great. Within a walking distance to KLCC - lots of shopping Malls

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for several reasons. The hotel had great meals and the rooms and the beds were nice and comfortable. The room's window was also toward the Petronas towers which have made it awesome. There was also a nice pool by the hotel main towers. The enterior design of the hotel was also beautiful. In addition, the hotel is located at a suitable place in terms of public transportation and accessibility to some tourist attractions. It's also lovely to walk around at nights and enjoy the night life.

The property is old. A staff member at the gym needs to be retrained.

Very old 5 star hotel. The service quality is very high and the food is guaranteed.

Dim Sum at the Chinese restaurant is not recommended. Tasteless selection of basic dim sum dishes poorly presented .

Came here to meet my friend at the Lounge on 25th floor for drinks. There's finger food, sweets and salad and cheese to fill you up. Alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available for guests to wind down. I love the ambience here!

Quiet and peaceful time off in the middle of a busy town. Nice

You need to have bigger and more comfortable prayer rooms; and also prayer rooms for the different wings/blocks. The current prayer rooms are shameful for an international 5-star hotel.

I do not think the staff is friendly and the location is just that, and the facility is outdated. I think it's a hotel that many airline crews use, and the handkerchief on the window.

I have called the hotel 8 times and to be connected to the reception. First I was on the lie for 10 mins, this was 3x and got disconnected. Next, they answer and drop my call. This is frustrating! I'm calling from US and my calls are being charged tremendously.

Room clean bed very comfortable. The staff around the pool have a sense of humour. Pool nice too. Reception staff very helpful.

Room and service is very good. Indian veg people will not be happy with food but the menu is good who love non veg. Very well connected with mono rail. They hv got a discotheque which has nice ambiance and plays good music. Petronas twin tower is visible from the room. Overall a recommended stay in KL.

This is maybe an old hotel, but not run down. It is a grand and shiek hotel and just walking through it gives me a good feeling. Rooms are very nice (I had a view of the twin towers) and they offer a good breakfast.
Good location and access to public transportation (monorail) right in front. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Loving hotel perfect place direct visibility of twin towers ,good staff

We stayed here for 4 nights and the room was very clean with friendly service. Great location for free bus shuttle and walking distance from petronas tower and a couple of shopping malls. They dont include breakfast unless you pay for it as part of your room rate.

After reading a couple of other reviews, I am not certain we are talking about the same Renaissance. There are 2 Wings in the hotel. Instead of giving positive feedback, the only one it s getting from me is the location.

The negatives:
- Room was dusty
- 3 out of 5 lamps not working
- Net curtains stained, yellow & with holes
- mini bar, call room service
- Tv made hissing sound
- called front desk asking if they have pain killers for headache, go to pharmacy they replied
- pool is not 5 star quality
- food by pool restaurant came cold (burger & fries)
- definitely not worth the money

Old school hotel. Lighting can get a bit dim and too yellow.

Good location, good service, very helpful front desk and the bellboy. Clean room n good facilities. Highly recommendable.

Located strategic in golden triangle city of Kuala Lumpur next to MRT for mobility

It has cheap feeling-kinda vibe. I was shocked to see how much food they serve at the club lounge during tea-time and everyone had to touch/pick the food with barehands
As a Platinum Member, I got to check in/out at the Club Lounge and it took forever for them to do their very simple job. No smile faces seen around the hotel. Felt unwelcome. The room is too dimmed and was hearing the bip-bip sound from the telephone every few second. Some minor renovation work at night was happening and they didn t put a sign or anything; let people walk through it. Food sucks. I really think they deserve this one star rating. Please improve!

They have all you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The West Wing where I've stayed in was a bit old fashioned; however it will be renovated in maybe late 2016.

The room is large and the lounge is also fashionable.
There is nothing to say about the building, but I want you to do my best for the service.

The card key is missed and the response to it is slow. If there is anything, you can only upgrade the lounge service and rooms.
The concept of troubleshooting is too different from Japan in the first place.
Despite having a Japanese staff, I came out later.
The teacher who was attending became a big rage and it became serious.

It is the impression that the software side has not caught up when seen from a young place of staff.

For the most part it is fine. the reception area is not where you expect and there is minimal signage to direct you to right place. Just did not feel at all welcoming.

Great hotel and close to metro station and Twin Towers

It is a wonderful place to go and have a lunch if you don't mind the price. But in my opinion I think it is worth a try once in a while

One of the best hotel I have ever been till date...Rooms are very cozy..From my room I could see Petronas Twin Towers and the view was amazing...They have very good Restaurant and Swimming pool..You should enjou your time over here where you are on leisure vacation or business trip. Though the cab service is available for 24*7 bt the public transport is also always available.

Food was the only saving grace for this place.

Was here on business matters. Room was slightly dated, had creaky floorboards. Executive lounge had a limited array of food with rather poor service.

View from the rooms was still okay, But I'd say that service standards has really fallen from the last time we were here in 2015.

Excellent ambiance.prime locality.Rooms ,service are excellent.The hotel provides varieties of dishes for breakfast .I like the Marriott hotels.Simply excellent..I had twin tower view from my hotel room ( 409?)
