REMAX Consultants Realty I Review

I have been renting properties as a Landlady from 2005 and just cannot find a normal, reliable, responsible agent who will work with his/her brain. Each one hired made serious mistakes and do not wish to realize that their judgment was wrong. One of them did not know well enough English to describe the property. Another one posted the property photos as shelters in Himalaya.
I decided to hire Remax and the branch opposite the postal office branch in FL 33316 also does not have the right agents. The first agent called Peggy Aspen hired 3 months ago had the wrong keys to enter the property although I gave her the right ones. Peggy, while my agent, went out of the country without notifying me. That means that for 3 months Peggy could not either access or rent the property. 3 months is a lot of wasting time. I only found out about the keys when I decided to hire Scott Lombard who also works for Remax. Scott Lombard did not last 2 days since he wanted to list his name with great on the property listing and did not want to remove it. It was per sure out of place. I suggested him to advertise his skills on a billboard. The name of the branch manager is Anja Shakira Khaleel and looks that she does not have enough power to improve those 2 agents capability. They reflex very badly on Remax image. I won t recommend Remax and their staff members to you who read that review and one star is too much.

Unethical Dishonest Real Estate Agent Who Brings the Drama

Mike Anderson represents our old landlord as the landlord is trying to sell/rent Port Condominiums unit 1208 which I lived in. Mike is an unethical jerk who made our lives a living hell while living there. Mike used to be on the board of the Port Condominiums and he has a terrible reputation among residents for being dishonest to put it mildly. I am not sure why my landlord hired him.

Consistent with mike s slime-ball reputation, the moment we first interacted with him, he told a big fat lie that we were required to sign a new lease (our old landlord sold the property, therefore the new landlord assumed obligations of old lease). The only plausible explanation mike would state this is because he would benefit from a commission.

We requested an additional month to stay as our new home was being remodeled and Mike told us that he had a tenant that was moving in right away so we had to get out ASAP. However, Port management said no one was moving into our unit immediately after moving out another lie told by Mike. Also the unit is currently still on the market, so the proof is in the pudding.

Moreover once we were moving out, Mike tried to charge us a bunch of fees that were absurd. He is a real estate agent and should know what is and isn t legal. First he tried to charge us overstaying" fees because we couldn't accommodate when he wanted to do a walk through. He also tried to make ridiculous charges from our security deposit. See screenshots included. A lot of these items are normal wear and tear, and the unit is old as hell so not sure why anyone would paint a metal washer dryer that is probably 10+ years old? He falsely tried to convey that we treated the apartment like a frat house--which is blatantly false. I took timestamped photos like a lawyer upon move out because I knew that he would bring the drama.

I have done over 10 real estate deals in my life and Margarita Hernandez the owner/broker is by far the worst I have ever dealt with. Thinks she knows it all, and not interested at all in hearing your point. Also does not know what the word negotiate means! She has a very bad and flippant attitude making me think she could care less if you buy or not! So run the other way and get anybody...but her!

Please please please do not give your personal information to these people. They sell it to data aggregating companies and you will receive an endless stream of phone calls and emails for properties you do not own. Super unethical. I have called, emailed and researched how to stop the harassment but I can't find an answer. Save yourself the trouble that will follow you for YEARS if you do business with them.
