Absolutely loved this place. Staff super attentive and friendly. Especially the owner who took a lot of time out to talk to us. I'd suggest going on a night they do entertainment as its fabulous. Traditional Malay dance, part of it inclusive so loads of fun. Cocktails a little weak and no happy hour. As for food, very tasty. Portion size not the largest. Overall though, highly recommended. Go on a day when you're happy to extend the budget a little!
went with my friends to this restaurant. so far quite nice the food. need more improve the staff's service.
Great place to go for their food. Delightful and good.
Cosy and lovely decor, delicious local Malay food. Must visit if you are in KL. Try the big prawn in curry.
Traditional Malaysian food, 100% Halal and lots of food variety. Taste good and this is place for alternative foods apart from Indian foods that common in Kuala Lumpur. Worth to try with quiet place and green view.
First time dine in Songket restaurant. Excellent food with great cultural dances and cosy ambience. Highly recommend for all people especially tourists.
Local restaurants in Malaysia, where you can experience culture through performances starting from 8:30 am
Surprisingly with all the hype, the food is so so only. Lucky they compensate with traditional dance
The Songket Restaurant offers a good atmosphere with its elaborate decoration, it is possible to sit outside on a large, covered terrace.
In the evening a folkloric dance performance takes place free of charge, which is nice to look at, but not exciting.
For starters we had satay skewers, which we found delicious. The main dishes, however, we found rather sufficient in taste and decoration, especially the rather expensive Rendang I found in comparison boring and over-seasoned. The durian ice cream was just not our case, but rather due to the fruit, the pandan flan was delicious.
We would call the service rather adequate: a bottle of water was simply forgotten, and the main courses were simply put on the table, although we had just started with the appetizer. On the other hand, my dessert flan was already served after two minutes, my girlfriend's ice cream lasted more than ten minutes. In addition, the staff was a bit over-attentive due to the very few guests, and looked interested in eating.
We would not eat there anymore, but we would not advise against it, as many details are rather personal tastes and / or daily forms.
It was truly an amazing experience eating there with my family. The Malaysian buffet style was delicious and tasty. Usually buffet type restaurant overlook the quality of the food. But Not Songket Restaurant. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Service were fast and excellent too. Highly recommended!!!
This was such a wonderful experience in KL. I will come back next time I visit. The waiters are so helpful. Every dish was delicious. There was a Malaysian show at 8.30 pm. So good and recommended.
GOOD FOOD & GOOD SERVICES . TRY THE " NASI LEMAK " . WILL COME AGAIN
Lovely food, friendly staff, and i had fun with the cultural dance performance. Definitely recommending this place for a perfect experience of tasty Malay Cuisine in Kuala Lumpur!
Nice place to gather with friends and family and enjoy the variety of Malaysian cuisine.
Best restaurant in KL! Great local food surrounded by friendly staff and local people! Other tables of guests even gave us extra food and birthday cake! Also enjoyed the local entertainment with dancing and other performances!
Great place, awesome food .
Have a good service .
Thebest of malaysian food in kl .
Have a dancer performance at night .
Price is reasonable in area near of heart kl .
Best Nasi goreng kempong in town . we went there with group for lunch and every one left with smile faces. Highly recommend
Long waiting time for serving of food during lunch time.
This is an excellent place to immerse in Malay cuisine and culture. I always share this place with foreign friends.
Truly amazing Malaysia feast for us. This is a fine dining restaurant near KLCC, with plenty of choices on Malaysia authentic dishes. We love their pineapple Shrimp curry and the Pandan rice so much. The Pandan dessert are also must try item.
The place is awesome. The scenery really bring its name. I would recommend the place for event like dinner.
Nice ambienece, for celebratory dinner with family, I highly recommend.
Really good Kanmi Kana Nagake Piss Horenbu Kerarapa 10r Sago Guraka 10r
Memories unforgettable evening with music and dance in addition to very delicious meals
Good food with cheerful music and dance. Loved the way they entertain people.
A very good environment and comfortable place to spend some quality time. With affordable price, can feel the Malay culture and Malay traditional dish like singing, blowing balloons with pipe and bamboo play. Friendly and nice staffs that asking us whether everything is ok or not. Price is affordable in area near of heart KL. Well recommended to stay for relaxing a few days.
Maybe went there on the wrong day, food was less than average, no live show on Sundays..
Foods are fresh & tasty except Ayam Percik sauce, the prices are not cheap.
The staff was helpfull though we made last minute booking during ramadhan for 35 pax. Fast service and great food.
Awesome atmosphere and courteous service. Extensive menu and everything was delicious.
Very nice and well organized, typical Malaysian place to try. Average
It is behind a quiet alleys. The price is not high so far. You can use VISA.
Had a buka puasa dinner here. It was not a special evening untill we taste the food. The food has change our expression. Its same like chef was listening my heart. The food has the taste what my tongue wanna taste. Thank you songket restaurant for the special buka puasa meal. And most important the restaurant following all the measurement for covid 19 so feel free and visit songket without any hesitation there friendly staff waiting to serve you the best food.
Very good food nice service especially the smart people
great thai Restaurant located at Jalan Yap Kwan seng , Mins Drive from town
The environment is elegant, but the food may not all like it.
Horrible experience. Food was clearly reheated and not fresh. Also had to wait long for food. This place is a tourist trap . Avoid this place at all costs.
I been here before
Ystrday 10-9-18 i tried to call songket from 4pm to around 6pm continuously i called almost 20 times no body answer
I am shocked now when one of my frnd tell me he go to songket yesterday no busy even more than half restaurant is empty
but i was considering bcz of PH may be restaurant closed
best place for eat for lunch .. the food also delicious and the price okay
Ample parking and nice green enclave in the middle of KL
Can improve on the afternoon temperature condition and the surau that they help provide.
Nice show. Nice food great owner. Will come back again.
The food could have been served faster but the food was great
Restaurant target to tourists with live dancing shows. Food was average, service average and price way above the average. Will not come back and would not recommend.
Staff lacklustre, food not good. My seabass on the grill, supposedly a speciality, was so dry it was hard to eat, the lamb was almost impossible to get the meat off, in a flavourless gravy and even the beef rendang was average at best.
Better off going to a simple eatery with better food, not this place which wants to be a bit more up market but isn't.
The fern leaves and the green coconut rice were good.
Best restaurant in KL! Great local food surrounded by friendly staf
The environment is excellent for a Malay restaurant. Tho the price is steep for most of the Malaysian. It is understandable since it is located near to KLCC.
Nice food and surrounding. Suitable for casual dining.
I love this place. Went there for lunch with my friend and we both love the food here, even the desserts were so good. And teh tarik is the bomb!
nice food, very friendly staff, really recommended.
Rustic ambience, a gem hidden within the sky scrapers and awesome Malay cuisine with enchanting traditional dancers with a glass of wine to finish the meal
Toilet please be hospitalized again for cleanliness
