Clean, spacious, good food with live band....great for relaxing after work since the restaurant is right smack in the middle of the usual jam-packed route

I came for my anniversary. The paper napkin, broken lighting, and inattentive server cost this restaurant some serious deficit. May be I came at a wrong day.

Great place! Managers were very friendly and created an awesome experience for us. We went with 3 children and they had a great time.
The dance is interactive so it was fantastic to bring the whole family.
If we are in Malaysia again we will definitely come again.

I thought it was a good place to bring tourists and friends and family who came to Malaysia to play, who are not familiar with Malaysian local restaurants yet.
It tastes good and is relatively clean.

If you want to experience Malay food and culture, I strongly recommend you.
Don't miss 8:30pm dance time.

PROS: 1. The restaurant was nicely decorated. 2.The menu had a good variety of Malay dishes. 3. Some staff were apologetic for the long wait for food. 4. I was not charged for undercooked food. CONS: 1. My table had ants (moved to another table, but there were still ants). 2. The wait for food was about an hour due to the restaurant catering for an event (I could overlook this IF I was told beforehand that the wait would be long, which the management failed to do). 3. The chicken was undercooked. 4. Some staff in uniform were not friendly and showed annoyance when asked to pack my leftovers. 5. Some staff were not in uniform, making it difficult for me to recognise who actually work there.

Please take note that I was here once for dinner. This place is in the heart of KL and a bit hidden. You cant see it from the main road and really have to open your eyes for the sign. The precise location is behind some other building. The parking lot is ample and very close by. The environment is clean and the food is ok to me...not bad. I like it when the waiter came by and asked us if everything is ok...nice. One more plus point is that they have a cultural show schedule here like the traditional dance and more. The only thing that I am uneasy a bit is the price. I think it is quite expensive here.

Great place, awesome food and service
Beef rendeng is GREAT. Bass fish was fresh with superior flavor. Dorian ice cream was heaven. Abbas & Nasir were 2 exceptional servers.

My wife and I ordered two stews here, one was very salty and the other one the sauce was mixed with fish (even though what we ordered was beef). Will never go back there!

Maybe good for tourist, bad had a bad experiences going in for a ala carte dinner. Waited for close to 2 hours for a So-So food.

One of the best of the best. Great menu and the whole experience was extremely exciting

In comparison, I still like Singapore's Bak Kut Teh Soup.

Good food and cozy environment, coupled with an entertaining dance performance to top it off!

The dance is fine. What s worse is the service and food. The food portion is extremely small. The waitress takes years to serve the dishes. Furthermore the service is very bad . Takes 30 min to serve normal hot water . Confirm not coming here again

Songket restaurant is nice view very good traditional malay dance and the food is excellent malay cuisine.

Amazing flavours, however the Beef is really low quality and didn't receive Tamarind sauce with one dish but some fish one and Tamarind with the other as expected. We really wanted Mutton slow cooked however that was out of stock.

This place is a hidden place of great Malaysian food and a bit of entertainment.

Fantastic food and great prices! Loved the ambiance as well. They even had a dance showing the various traditional dances of Malaysia as well. Overall, would rate it as 10/10. Definitely recommended!

Really enjoyed our night there food was great and abundant the atmosphere was amazing the spectacle was unbeatable. Went there twice the same week and the waiter name Ahmed so far the best friendly and helpful. will definitely pay them another visit in sh Allah
