I waited 30 minutes for an item to be pulled from the back room, no one knows when the item was brought up because the employee never said a word about it being ready. So I sat there waiting and waiting. The cashier couldn't give a worry if her career depended on it.

Flagship REI store beautifully set in a little forest created in the heart of the city. Lots of great products. Everything you'll need for an expedition to Antarctica or a weekend camping trip. Prices are fair, just know you get what you pay for and what you buy will last.

I've been a long time REI member and they stock great gear and take care of their members.

They were very helpful. I was able to take a test ride on the bikes I was interested in.

Can happly get lost in this place. An adventure before the adventure. Friendly knowledge staff, great selection.

Pretty good outdoor store. I heard they were having a sale, but the prices didn't match what I heard. Terrifically helpful staff, especially when it came to finding that DoohicKey I was looking for.

Can be pricey but sometimes you luck out with clearance items

Just tried curb side pick-up due to COVID19. Most inefficient service. Had to wait in line over 45 minutes to pick up bike helmet.

Love REI but the store is always understaffed. One hour in the store and only been able to try on one pair of shoes because I can't find anyone to help me.

It's REI, what's not to like? But seriously they have everything you need for an adventure outdoors from gear to training, there's even a ranger station with permits, maps etc.

If you're not ready to buy, there's a gear rental desk with almost everything, bring your own underwear.

I've been going to this REI for over 10 years and they have always been helpful! Camping, biking, hiking, and snowboarding once upon a time, they've got the best gear available and so many knowledgeable employees willing to get you the right gear.

I never leave disappointed from this store. Great staff. Great products.

It was a large store that had tones of items for outdoor adventures. There is a Range station inside. It was neat to have a path to walk up to the entrance.

Friendly and helpful staff, great selection, and no pressure what so ever when trying things out. If you have any questions about getting new gear, this is the place to go. While you are at it get a rewards card for 10% cash back at the end of the year.

Has an amazing high quality selection. I absolutely love and stand by my REI. However, their employees aren't the best subject matter experts. For their lack of knowledge they make up for in kindness. What a great team to help the community!

Great location, selection, service and my favorite of theb sporting goods stores

This is the flagship store with an amazing 3 floors of outdoor gear with an enormous selection. A 30 ft rock wall located inside, an outdoor mtn bike trail to test out MTB's and a little rock surface located next to the shoes to test out hiking boots. They have thought of pretty much everything!

It's super organized with room to roam around without feeling like you're in a sardine can. THIS STORE HAS A RANGER STATION LOCATED INSIDE THE REI itself.

The workers here are all exceptional and willing to help with any questions or queries.

Come by this store when you're here in Seattle. You won't regret it (until you get your CC statement) but it's a long term investment in FUN!

Good collection and good warranty. However to find somebody to get you the shoes you want to try takes forever!

At REI''s flagship store, you'll find a great selection of hiking and athletic equipment. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the return policy very generous (perhaps overly so). Their garage sales often feature great deals.

REI flagship. Has almost everything. Parking and street parking available but you gotta pay for it. Lots of friendly staff.

This is the flagship REI. They have a department for every sport and carry pretty much everything available online. Truly the mecca of outdoorsmanship.

I was a bit underwhelming... Although the outside gardens (forest?) was cool.

I want to tell you guys do not buy any Asolo hiking boots, because of these reasons is. Please look at the pictures.

I bought a Asolo hiking shoe from REI in Seattle WA 3 years ago
I worn this shoes only two times, the heal of the shoes came off as you can see in photograph. Last two years I contacted them, I send them all the pictures, even I called Asolo us still no result after two years.
My reson is to inform other costumer to be ever of the quality and costumer service of Asolo and REI which I believe is very bad in my case.

Love supporting local! Great experience ordering online and using curbside picking up. I appreciated the helpful email updates on the order and the staff were super helpful and friendly.

I've been a loyal REI member/customer since 1990 and my last two experiences have forced me to rethink where I buy outdoor clothing and equipment. Today, I thought I would have no issues exchanging a Yeti mug for a smaller size Yeti mug, but the REI staff couldn't find the receipt in their system so they just couldn't do it. I left the mug at customer service while I found the size I wanted and then I watched REI's staff put the mug I tried to return back on the shelf. REI couldn't exchange it but they didn't have a issue reselling it...hmmm. I will be shopping at the smaller shops like Alpine Hut and Second Ascent going forward.

Awesome, knowledgeable service in the rentals area.

Could spend hours here. Wish everything wasn't so expensive.

It was my first time in today. I had not realized how massive this store is. It has an excellent selection of every type of outdoors items. They also have a clearance section and they do garage sales of lightly used return items. We ended up bringing our puppy to get fitted for snow boots and also walked out with some new climbing shoes. We will definitely be going back. 10/10 store.

Their selection was abismal. They had one kayak paddle and it was $500+(probably why it was the only one left). The entire "Paddling" section was pretty much empty. A number of their other sections were picked clean as well. Not worth the trip.

Holy moly this particular rei is amazing. Worth visiting almost as a tourist spot.

This is a good to place to shop if you are shopping for active wear whilst in your active wear.

I'm sure they have most everything you could want for camping...
But,
I called them for a specific pass and was told that they had it,
to come on down.
I drove from next to the skykomish ranger station (not open to public at this time due to virus), drove from Skykomish to Seattle to pick up the pass they told me they had. No, ranger is not here till Wednesday, you'll have to come back!

Maybe put somebody on the phone that wants more than to put a customer in the store.

Great place for large and small. REI have a fantastic range of products both performance and casual.

Consider the great design of the building, healthy food options and kids play area and there is little not to like.

Particularly outstanding customer service today, even given that my expectations are quite high for this place already.

great selection of brands for rain jackets, great camping gear, awesome sales, i like the one time $25 lifetime membership fee, enjoy the yearly dividends

Always a great experience with REI employees. Made the mistake of buying a pair of ski bindings from a specialty ski shop. When they broke I had to wait 6-7 weeks, whereas had I bought them at REI I would have gotten a new pair swapped on immediately...

This is the flagship store. They have everything here including a used good section. The store is clean and organized and have I already mentioned, it has everything. They also have a rock climbing wall that I wanted to climb.

Place is pretty cool first time I've been to the Seattle one got to sit on a $4,000 mountain bike pretty rad five stars

I love this store, I love the products, but I do believe they are overpriced. If they could just be more reasonable with pricing I'd give it 5 stars and shop there more often.

Hands down! The best customer service ever. REI is the epitome of customer trust and service. I will always consider buying equipment for outdoors from here. The folks at your store are very knowledgeable and helpful for any questions we have on equipment we are there to buy.

Service was terrific. Jay was patient with me in helping me find the right back pack.
