Truly enjoyed our visit this past Wednesday. The course(original 18 holes) was a very pleasant surprise both from a layout standpoint and overall condition. Was truly impressed that every employee wanted our opinion of the course. Thanks to the owners who also took time to sit with us after our round. Look forward to playing the new Links nine on my next visit. Will spread the word about the Pheasant to my Syracuse customer base.

The original 18-hole layout is very good here, with a lot of shots that require navigating tree lined fairways. There are some great elevated tee shots as well as some greens guarded by water, and the overall experience is a good one. The new nine-hole layout across the street is a little bit gimmicky (including an uphill par six with a tree in the middle of the fairway), however for the most part it works.

The SGA Tour 20th stop. We played the pheasant and the Roc ..

The greens rolled nice , I tad Dewy in the morning but when the sun came out , they rolled true, the Roc 9 greens were like Greystone ... massive.... par 5 and a par 6, wonderful landscaping !

Fairways were a solid B+

Tee boxes need some help, C

But for the cost to walk .. it s a must

Played the front 9 and "The Rock". The course was in below average condition for a public course. The golf carts were in terrible condition with no windshields. It was a cold day and we really could have used a windshield!

Pro shop person extremely rude over the phone when calling for tee time. And then when our foursome arrived he continued his rude behavior. This is not the first time this person has displayed this behavior.

I love winged pheasant. It has been the perfect course for my family to learn the game and accommodating for all levels of the game. Peter and his staff keep the course in great condition. It is a very comfortable feel all the time there and they have have a great beverage selection. They cater very well to leagues and always make room for the pop in golfer. An added bonus is the lynx style 9 holes across the road. If you are up for a longer challenge,, play the ROC. Great staff and not to far of a drive from Rochester.

Course is in pretty good shape. Not everything was mowed the way it should be. Some holes you feel like you are golfing in your back and... worst thing though is there were no yardage markers which I can t stand . This made it my worst golfing outing in a long long time. I used to love this course...

Well the course was in nice shape except it was really wet a lot of rain ... the carts seem like they are from the 1960 but they did the job. They need to spend the money for signs. Half the time we weren't sure if we were on the right hole. I've seen this comment from others that have played the course going back a few years but I will play it again.

Please do yourself a huge favor... go somewhere else. There are a few courses in the area. All are at least 5 to 10 times better. Even if they're 10 or 20 minutes further away from you. I made the mistake of not listening to some of the other reviews on this place

............*****Update****** $30 for 9 holes and a cart..... Bunkers with waist high weeds surrounding. This was my go to place. Now I will find another. I visited this place multiple times a year and am saddened that I will be looking elsewhere. Good luck.

Every time I play their I have a blast from start to finish. The course is in great shape and Peter, the owner, is the friendliest guy on the planet. They have 27 holes that are appropriate for the expert golfer and success oriented enough for the beginner. The new nine is a long lunch style course. Plus, they have great beer which includes a nice selection of ipas

Nice set of holes. Greens are well groomed.with subtle breaks (frustrating!). Fairways are decent but fairly narrow, tree lined and tough to get thru trees if that is where you find/lose a ball. Walkable course with a few uphill climbs. Could use some signage for where holes are. Very dry and hard due mostly to lack of rain. Unremarkable club house.

I freaking love this place. I just tend to avoid going there cuz if you're not really used to the course there's no Maps or good directional where the hole is following each hole.. not very good directions got very confused with a tiny little numbers on the layout... some holes not even labeled... I hope you guys correct this I love this place

Played nine holes on the side called the Rock, then played the front nine on the other side of the street. The Rock is challenging, and the front nine has a lot more f water hazards. Overall it was a great time golfing. The weather was very nice

A little expensive $60 for 2 people to play 9 holes, with a riding cart. Beautiful course with some challenges. Blind bunkers, hills and challenging greens. Fun round, 9 holes was about 2 hours.

Called today had to wait 3 hours for a tee time. Which is No big deal. My buddy went with his family about 20 minutes before my scheduled tee time with no tee time just showed up and they supplied him 2 carts and was told he can get right out on the course. To then tell us that we would have to wait 45 minutes for a cart to return so we could play at our scheduled time. I typically dont agree with shaming a local business but this is the 3rd time this season that this exact thing has happened to me. I'd rather take my business elsewhere
