Registration of a business shouldn't take more than 3 days..... I applied for a certificate on the 31 August 2020 but still not gotten my certificate 3 days ago I was @ the register... yesterday as well , as @ 4:15pm the man in charge of printing the certificate was then reporting to work

The place for all your legal registration quests. Place is not well navigated and over usually gets lost or is unable to access what dey want on their. They are need of a queuing system to regulate the traffic there.
Usually crowded and service delivery here can be a bit slow, but you can register your company here without using a third party, as the process is quite straightforward and the staff are usually willing to explain things to you and direct you to the right counter/resource person. There is still a lot of room for improvement.
I think the Department is doing a good job. The messures adopted to enforce adherence to hygiene protocols in view of the covid 19 pandemic give confidence when you are in the premises. Officials of the Department insist on wearing face masks and keep it on when talking against the habit of many who drop down their chin when they talk.
The gates were closed to people. Because of Covid-19 they attend to only 200 people per day and you'll find a large group of people gathered at the premises.
I made an enquiry about my TIN and the lady at the counter was so rude. I tried registering my company online and it's taking forever. Delivery is generally poor and staff here think they're doing the customer a favor. Change is needed badly.
They have one of the best protocols in observing social distancing even though the number of people there are at a maximum peak. Good job to those who made them possible.
Nothing has change at the register general department,there are soo many goroo ladies and men ,this goroo guys are agents of the staffs of the department even the security men .
The covid protocols are not very easily followed, specifically that of social distancing.. but there isn't much that can be done because the place is always very busy. The customer service is on point though... They are super friendly and helpful.
The government body that controls registration of companies and firms and any other institutions. They need to improve their online services to enable fast service.
The COVID-19 pandemic has effected the flow of cars and work in general. You have to park out the for several minutes before you get the chance to enter.
Fairly smooth. Walked in without an appointment. I needed some information. I was directed to the right department and individual and had my needs met all within half an hour. Experiences may vary so proceed with caution. The main floor was really busy and chaotic feeling. Lots of nosie and activity but not necessarily a dealbreaker if you have urgent business. A key downside was having to wait almost 30 minutes at the entrance to drive in. The parking lots gets stuffed to the gills quite easily and sadly there is no on street parking. You can either wait in line patiently or return later or simply get there by Uber or taxi.
I made a phone call making some inquiries about registering business entity online. Fortunately, after several attempts, someone picked the call, and I would never forget this experience on phone. The way the gentleman shouted at me nu, as if I am his little brother. I wouldn't talk to a stranger on phone like the way the gentleman did. It has really hurt me. Please mind your speech and the tone at which you talk to people
A complete incompetent institution with useless staff. Yeah right I will receive a lot of bashing now like: Go back to your country then white man bla bla bla. We registered a company/subsidiary some time ago through our lawyers and needed to do a re-registration because we though it would be right to amend the new company addresses. The staff of this useless institution has forgotten/canceled certain information of our business activities which are not visible on Form 3 anymore but key to our operations, changed the directors private address to a town where we never lived in and secondly even spelled the name of the town wrong (instead of Dortmund, he wrote Dortmond which does not exist), the mother/owner company abroad was spelled wrong as well the address, our local business address and the address of our directors was wrong too. One mistake can happen but more then that is not acceptable. On top of it, they also want to charge me a fee every time I want to correct these changes. Meaning I have to pay for their incompetence. A complete disgrace and no wonder we are not moving forward but going on strike and asking for better working conditions, thats what they can do.Stupid people
Unfortunately a rather sad place to visit. Yh the place is always packed with people but the service is abysmally poor.
Went to pick up my TIN # and the woman I gave the designated sheet to was rather slow and chatty. At around 11:30am she stood up n never returned I stayed seated patiently till another person came to take the seat around 2pm. I nicely asked that lady n she was like oh, how long have u been here n i told her n she just smiled n checked for me. It took like just 10minutes. I sat at the office for almost 3hrs just to get a print out n the worst thing is there wasn t even a queue.
And oh, around 12:30pm I asked a younger lady I felt will be nicer but she was much worse. Told me to sit down n wait for the lady to return n that she knows nothing about it. Her tone alone was one that would infuriate the nicest person on earth.
It s a pity, at such a place u just have to pay the gentlemen that work as goro boys or in a way work there (not so sure) n u get a fast track service. They will sit with u and help u till u r done.
Long and short, I just thank God it s something u do once in a life time so I doubt I will visit that office again, besides getting a parking spot is another wahala!
I dont like my experience at the RGD.For two years now i have been trying to do change of business name. Its been go and come on Friday. I have been there twice this month. Even though i received a a message that my application has been approved. I eas just told go and come on friday.Have made several complaints but still nothing. Really disappointed.
