Regal Height Rehabilitation and Health Care Center Review

The rooms are very spacious which I love! The staff knows what they re doing and the medical director is very hands on. A GREAT rehab center!

My mom was at this location for about a year or so. Whenever I went to visit her I had to sit for hours and could do nothing but observe the staff, the patients, etc. I can say the staff was always very friendly and attentive to the patients. These patients where for the most part suffering with some sort of mental degradation and I was always surprised at the patience of the staff. For everyone complaining about the lack of perfection can we simply appreciate the staff for providing attention to our loved ones when we couldn't. I'm very disappointed in the lack of appreciation in the reviews. My mom just died and I thank Regal Heights because I'm still not sure how she survived that long after her stroke and bedsore 2 years ago.

I personally thank you all at Regal Heights for everything you have done and will forever be indebted to you. You all have a selfless job and will seldomly be appreciated; I appreciate you all. Thanks to all the nurses, head nurse, the lady with the music, the food preparers, social workers and everyone else I missed.

A nice location, friendly front door staff, and generally clean. Friendly nursing staff. The floor I visited, though, had a trashy sitcom blaring loudly in the main gathering area. Not at all helpful to a warm, relaxing, therapeutic environment.

Rude staffing. Patients not treated compassionately. Wish there was a Zero option to rate.

Horrible place my mother stood for 4 hrs and I had her discharged. First off the place was filthy it smelled like urine and vomit. The bathroom was horrendous. When my mother was admitted I got there an hour after the floor and furniture was sticky I asked for a clorox wipe or a disinfectant wipe they said they don't have that stuff if I want I can buy. They said that they would spray it and wipe it down with an old rag. Omg I was discusted and terrified that my mother had to be there. Then they said that they had onsite dialysis and they don't!!!!!! The patients have to get wheeled 2 blocks down in the trashy neighborhood. Horrid the expieriance I had there.

My friend is there for four weeks, I have been there everyday for several hours. I find the staff very caring, friendly and efficient. I walk around the facility and find it very clean. I also see many other patients while I am visiting and find them all clean and well cared for. If you need to be in a rehab I definitely recommend Regal Heights.

This is one of the best rehabilitation center I've been to the system they have here it's great. The physical therapy staff Pilar, Farhana, Akram, Diana and Araceli is great therapist. The occupation staff is great as well Loraine, Roscelin, Tenzin and the rest of them are good workers. The 8th floor staff is the best as well i really appreciate them to the fullest.

I was there following an accident and on the first night alone in a two bed room I had company and they told me it was from the garbage laying around in the neighborhood surrounding stores. The company a mouse. The second night another tiny visitor. After day number three came around and I was told I could change my room I decided to sign out

This nursing home let s patients put on their tv s on all night and they allow this even though it could be heard in the room above . I know this because it is happening to me ., l am a patient and resident . I spoke to the nurse and her supervisor to take away the tv remote at night so I can sleep but they refuse to do so . They say the patient has right to watch tv . Meanwhile I have no right to sleep at night because they allow this to happen This is wrong .

First off, I would give it a 1/2 star if I could and that star would be for only one nurse on the 7th floor (Dom) he looks out for my brother. But other than that they should at least try and keep their stories straight. One person is saying one thing and another person is saying something else. The things that they do and are putting me through makes me think they are trying to hide something. And I totally get that we are going through the COVID era, but to even get a legit answer over the phone if you can get someone to answer the phone is ridiculous. I'm in the process of getting him out of there. Lobby area is very unwelcoming.

It is very bad facility
The coordinator and the administration are very rude and tough.
They do not care about patients

My mom was there after hip surgery. The staff was not aware of her needs. She needed 2 people to move her on the bed. I went the next day and only one was trying to move her. When I told her she needed 2 people someone else came to help and grabbed my mother from her left operated hip. I started yelling because my mom was in pain and all they said was , Sorry. I had posted signs above her bed. No one read them. The floor supervisor was very rude. Tanzon was his name. When my mom's CNA was on TV duty, my poor mom had to wait 40 minutes to go to the barhroom.
There is a lot to write, but I can tell you ..DON'T EVER USE THIS PLACE. It's a horrible place. When my mom was been changed I was not allowed to be there. My poor mom was screaming from pain and I would walk in and they kicked me out all the time. I really wish someone can go check this horrible place. This was the 8th floor. There were a few nice nurses but the supervisors were very rude and snotty. When a new CFN was assigned to my mom no one informed them if my mom's needs. I had to be there 24/7 otherwise my mom would've been worse.
WARNING..... DON'T USE THIS FACILITY.

Day Care for seniors Very good with a trained and friendly staff

Very bad ,roaches everywhere including when they bring silverware and coffee mugs to dining room area, I know that because I did work there for a month, I could take anymore and I quit !!!!

My mom was a patien there and was very well taken care off

I was there for about a week for physical therapy and most days either did not receive it or received it from someone who did not know what my issue was and did not do anything specific to my problem. They did not feed me enough, gave me foods I should not be eating because of my kidney failure, and were not giving me my medicine properly (not the right dosage, not always giving it to me, not giving it to me at the right time), I complained about all these problems for days and nothing was done about any of them. And for multiple days I requested to be discharged and they ignored and postponed my requests. I only got out of there because after my dialysis appointment next door instead of waiting for the person to come wheel me back, I got up and walked home. They held me against my will and endangered my health. I thought it might come down to having to call the police because of how badly I was treated and their refusal to let me leave.

My dad has been here for couple of years. This is the worst place in hell. If you dont go see your relatives, they will not change, bathe, etc. Any one comes here will end up in a wheelchair. They will make sure of it. When your there they take care of your relatives in front of you. I am in the process of taking him out!!!!!!!

Regal Heights is one of the best I've seen. They keep it clean and everyone is very friendly. Social workers are very thorough and staff is very friendly and polite. 8th floor and sixth floor staff are great. The only reason I gave 4 instead of five stars is because they are somewhat understaffed although the staff there do the best they can.

My room is so hot and do you think they'd care to fix the air conditioner during a heat wave? Nope! Most don't seem to know what they are doing. There is nothing "REGAL" about Regal Heights!!! Don't go here!!!
