Regal Cinemas Review

I used to enjoy going to this theater till I had to wait in a extremely long line & was wondering why it was going so slow bc that usually doesn't happen too often there. When I finally got to the window I found out why it was so slow to get tickets when I was asked to pick a row & seat to watch the movie. Im not happy with the changes & will drive further away to watch a movie till they fix it back.

Love that you can get drink refills now. Prices are still high. Comfortable seats and clean. They were playing the Green Book when no one else was.

Only 2 people working the ticket line and it was cold and raining outside

Poorly managed. Ran by typical closed minded corporate America drones. One manager in particular there hates men.

Very clean and nice, you have the choice of standard, IMAX, and RPX, which is very convenient and nice to have. Service is amazing, food is good, arcade is fun, bathrooms are clean, and just overall a good time. I recommend carrying more money, and its a movie theater, of course everything is going to be expensive, its common sense for years now.

I love this place. Popcorn and drinks are wonderful. Lines are never too long. Enough showtimes and movies to select from. We have the unlimited movie pass for $18/month. Thanks Regal Cinema!

The rpx is an experience that can't be beat! The theater is always clean and very enjoyable. The seats in the rpx are the best! The imax is a bit on the small side though so be warned if you want to see an IMAX movie.

This is one nice movie theater! It never disappoints even when the movie does! It is always clean and looks great. They do an awesome job keeping this theater is top shape.

It's a movie theater, that's it...popcorn's o.k, wouldn't chance eating anything else there, would probably have to take out a 2nd mortgage to do it...can't believe how out of hand the prices at theaters have gotten. $9.25 for a freaking matinee!

A real shame to waste this facility with poor service. With the prices you pay, everything should at least be slightly above average. We were running a tad late, so trying to get snacks quickly on the way in. There's about 10 high school kids plus the manager behind the snack bar, but for some reason there's only one line to get food. The line has probably 4 or 5 people in it. Several of the workers seem to be teaming up to gather the items for the customers in the one line. But what are all these other kids and the manager doing just standing around? Surely there are other lines open? I walk over to where one them is sort of standing facing the front and near a register. No acknowledgment of me, so i have to ask... are you open? He says, oh, i can help you over here. I have to walk around the candy displays to the next register over where he can ring me up. I mean, all these customers in one line and none of you say, "i can help whoever's next in line"? The popcorn wasn't fresh which is also odd since it's fall break and the theater has a fair amount of business. It was a weekday afternoon matinee, but still, at $9-10 for large popcorn, that stuff ought to be some kind of orville redenbacher good! It wasn't. Almost $10 each for a matinee with me and my 5 year old. Large popcorn, large and small drink and one candy = $27. One adult, one child, matinee with snacks...$47. At half-a'd service and bad popcorn, it wasn't even close to worth it. Find a theater where they still value the customer.

Cavet emptor. Be sure and watch the screen when you are rung up because they will "accidentally" press the chairtable round up to next dollar donation button without asking if you want to contribute because it's "very easy to press by mistake". Then when caught it's a HUGE deal to try to fix, which "nothing can be done about". Very unethical business practice. If it is that easy to press then they need to get a software update that allows it to be voided easily. The customer should not have to literally pay for the employee's mistake. I wonder if there is a contest or incentive program to solicit donations.

Good place, but pricy.... like all movie theatres.... but the staff are pretty phenomenal

Clean and comfortable. The screen looks good and the sound is well done. I still feel like the snack prices are excessive. Can be pricey when taking the whole family.

A little bit pricier compared to going to Tinseltown in Oak Ridge but the screens are bigger and the sound is better. It's definitely worth the extra money.

It was clean, upgrades to the theater are really nice. The staff was friendly. It was really nice to finally see a movie.

Went to matinee. Place almost empty. Movie price was OK ($8). Food prices were (expletive deleted) ridiculous!!! 3 bags popcorn & 3 drinks were $45!!! No wonder people sneak foods into the theater.

I love this theater. The seats are comfortable & the iMax is amazing. Upscale looks. And stars occasionally visit for premieres. But the concessions are pricey, so being in your own drinks and snacks.

This is a really nice theater, one of the best in Knoxville. The problem is that they are WAY overpriced and nickle and dime you to death over every little thing. We just went there and went to the RPX movie showing. Dont wast your money. It's really not that different from the regular showings and it's $4.50 more per ticket. Not worth it at all.

Same Kind of Different as Me is an excellent faith-based, true life movie. It will boost your faith in mankind. Go see.

Very nice, but had to pick specific seat when purchasing ticket, not a fan of that requirement. But beautiful theater, great popcorn!

I love watching movies here, but something has changed with the popcorn. It's not too bad, but somethings different. Popcorn is important for movie-goers.

Hello I would just like to say that the new seating arrangement situation has caused nothing but problems and everything was fine beforehand. If it ain t broke don t fix it !!((:

I didn't enjoy the assigned seating situation. I think the concession prices are obscene. The bathrooms needed cleaning (during my matinee movie). But the movie I saw was great (plenty of selections).

I spend a lot to do events here and was scolded like a child by a manager in the hallway in front of my guests and other consumers. It was embarrassing and completely unprofessional, It could have been handled much differently. As someone spending over 6k yearly (I know that's probably chump change) on events alone, let alone how often I visit here with my family...they have completely lost my business.

Needs work...BEWARE of the front row...unless you're not there to see the movie. Ridiculous viewing angle.

Absolutely incredible place! The 4Dx was awesome! I have seen plenty of other movies here as well including Endgame on opening night. My only complaint was the 4DX theater was not cleaned when we arrived.

Good movies seats are comfortable a little pricey but at least my shoes were not sticking to the floor.

Been here several times, a bit of a drive for me. Never too crowded to find your seat. Reasonably priced food and drink for a cinema.

Expensive!!! But all movies are. Seats are comfortable.

Nicest theatre in town. Try to avoid on Friday and Saturday nights as the crowds are pretty bad.

We hate assigned seats. The movie, Skyscraper was a great action packed movie.

Terrible seats that made my back and knees hurt. I thought regal had went to recliners with good leg room.

Apparently a non advertised price increase to watch a movie on Friday at 2pm in standard definition just cost me 20 dollars just for entry. I was told prices went into effect 2 weeks ago. Never again for me.

Beautiful establishment. Clean theatre. Snacks were great.
