Nice view of the beach but outside seating is limited. Inside is noisy. Food was decent but not great.

Food was very good as was service. The food did take a while to come out, but well worth the wait. Definitely a relaxed dinner. Nice atmosphere.

My favorite Date Nite location! Chris behind the bar is so much more than a bartender. Hadn't been here in a long while, walked in and he called me by my name (Impressive!!!) not to mention he remembered what I like to drink, then there's the serving staff all are professional and well informed of what the specials are and how to pair your meal with the best libations... Laura (My Favorite) She's fun and lively and very attentive when it comes down to needing anything. The kitchen staff is second to none and Chef is always coming up with interesting specials like the Rockefeller Oysters (Spicy and kickass) The seaside dining is hands down the best. For those older people the inside offers a great view with floor to ceiling windows and not all the nite air while allowing the sound of the waves crashing on the beach to still be enjoyed with dinner ambiance.

Excellent food, no wait, medium pricing. Outdoor seating with a gorgeous view. Staff was super friendly knowledgeable and to boot, the waitresse came out to let us know about the pod of Dolphins swimming right in front of us!! Definitely would go back anytime.

Sunday Buffet. Breakfast standards, multiple selections. Eggs benedict cooked to order. Coffee was excellent as was the mutiple Momosa choices. SEAFOOD from A to Z, all well prepared. The wait staff consisted of every one on duty servicing all tables. The manager even bused a couple of empty plates as he was walking and talking thru the dining area.

Just had lunch there, again. This restaurant is a must visit for my wife and I when we are in Florida. The view, service and food are fantastic every time. If you re looking for cheap seafood go somewhere else. In my opinion it is great food for the appropriate money. Read the low reviews here. Everyone one of them mentions money. So take a look at the prices before you go there. They don t deserve any poor reviews because of the price.

I travel alot and I can say that this place has the BEST Ahi tuna that I've ever had in my life!!!

Sunday brunch is awesome. Extensive brunch buffet with top quality food. Mimosas, poinsettas and soft drinks included.

There Seafood Chowder was great. The North Beach Mahi was good. Can't ask for a better ocean front view. Our waiter was very informative and accommodating. The double chocolate cake for dessert was very good.

This place is an absolute joke. Nothing amazes me more than people who pay top dollar for a place located on the ocean, but yet, while seated at the bar, the person who benefits from the ocean view is the bartender. I don't get it.
Anyway, the bar area smells like piss and waiting for another beer is like pulling teeth. Employees are milling about, doing nothing while I'm feeling as if I'm bothering to ask the elusive bartender for a beer.
I arrived at 4 pm and dinner starts at 4:30 (just so you know.) Happy hour orders are 2 bucks off until 7, but they're quality is commensurate to Denny's. Stale, cold bread to preface dinner and Denny's-esk staff to match.
Cap's near by is way better!

Awesome view of the ocean from the porch. They also offer a special bread that you can ask for. They bake it for you upon request and it's pretty good.

Good food. A little pricey, but not terribly so. The key lime pie is the best in the universe.

One of our favorite places to eat. The Sunday brunch is absolutely fantastic. Large variety of choices when it comes to choosing a meal. And, you can't beat the crabs whether you choose to have them served up hot or cold!

Save yourself some money and go to Raintree. The food is Not worth the price!!!!

I am giving 5stars because this location is amazing. Water view at every table! The inside of the building is ok. Could use some attention to detail. Service was slower than expected, but server was knowledgeable & kind! Food didnt arrive to table piping hot, but the food was great. My veggies did arrive raw, but James brought me new ones as soon as he realized.
Scallops were undercooked for my taste, but the lobster and shrimp were divine.
I recommend the creme brulee!!

I've been to the Reef many times. It's one of my "must go" places in the St Augustine area.

Such a delicious spread of all the decadent choices that I love with crab legs, carving station and many more yummy choices for a very reasonable price. The service was awesome, thanks to everyone.

This is an oceanfront restaurant that is a little North of St. Augustine, FL. It is a seafood restaurant that offers interesting menu options beyond the traditional seafood restaurant fare. The food was good and the atmosphere pleasant.

Not great. View was pretty but my steak was covered in black pepper and potatoes were not cooked. Staff rushed you out. My husband ordered the fish special and he said it wasn't good either. Was our anniversary but I would not suggest this restaurant. Definitely will drop $100.00 somewhere else

This place is rude and discriminated against me because I was young looking while the rest of the crowd is elderly and Caucasian. They let the folks sit there while my boyfriend and I were told to leave and sit elsewhere because it s happy hour time . Hostess was rude and did not acknowledge us the moment we walk into the restaurant today. Let just say they will never EVER get my business going forward. So disrespectful, it s 2018 no need to be a jerk and rude thinking you are better than the individuals who come into the restaurant just looking for a place to eat.

It's a very nice place and the service was excellent. However, the food took way to long to be ready and for the prices and presentation, it's kind of pricey. Still worth the time and travel.

Bar none the single best meal I have EVER had! Our server, James, was professional, respectful, extremely knowledgeable about the menu and never failed to be there exactly when we needed him. Worried about having dinner on a Friday evening at 6pm, there was no wait for a 3 top in the deck. The entire experience was an absolute joy. Seated quickly, service was on point, food... My sweet baby Jesus the food, perfection from the Bloody Mary to the chocolate cake. Well done to the staff and chef of The Reef!! You should be proud of yourselves. You SO deserve it.

Always love The Reef! Consistent great food, AND can sit outside high enough to be so close to the crashing waves and beach walkers, shaded in the late afternoon. Nice happy hour. If too hot, lovely window-lined dining area with nice A/C Inside. Cool looking bar area. The surprising difference? Literally ON THE WATER with ocean sounds and sights AND the food is delicious and service, AND it's NOT overpriced! A buck or 2 more, maybe. Definitely come here when you come Into town, you'll "get your beach on" fast!

Excellent, casual place to lunch on the beach. Beautiful views and a friendly staff are the biggest asset. The menu is nicely varied and reasonably priced, but lacked the awesomeness in flavor that could really make this a go-to experience at St. Augustine. Don t get me wrong. The food was good. They could just work on a few tweaks to make it great.

The BIGGEST and most savory lobsters and much more affordable than in the US

Great food, great staff, and all around it's a nice and well kept restaurant. When you walk in there is a scenic salt water aquarium. It has a kind of rustic drift wood beachy feel from the outside and is certainly an upscale place.

Our new favorite special occasion restaurant! The kitchen is absolutely fantastic, and the service provided by our waitress, Lauren, was impeccable!

Service was a bit slow but the food was great! A little pricey, but the ocean view was AMAZING(we sat on the back deck)! Would definitely go back!
Oh and in case you were wondering, the 'dresscode' is casual (I actually called ahead of time to check as my impression from researching online was that it was formal).

The food and the service was average at best. The location/view is incredible though. Go here if you re looking for a nice atmosphere. But if you care more about the food being good, I d go somewhere else

Sunday brunch is a tad pricey but insanely delicious

We loved the prime rib. It was nothing short then amazing. We had a little trouble with. Getting started. But it was resolved very quickly and it did not ruin the night. We will definitely return.

One of the few places where all 7 of our family can be blown away by what they ordered. From age 5 to 60+, this place has something that everyone will love.

Wonderful atmosphere, right on the beach. You can have dinner as you watch the waves crashing on shore. It is elegant with white linen tableclothes. They have live music in bar area. You can dress either nice casual or dressy. Great for special occasions like Anniversaries, Birthday's, Wedding Rehersal dinner's or just fine dinning. Great menu and a little pricey but excellent food. My grandson was with us and wanted fried fish which wasn't on the menu but they made it happen.

The food is excellent and so is the service. Very nice atmosphere and it is right on the ocean with convenient parking. They have music in the evening as well. Looking forward to going here again.

Good food, decently priced. The patio is lovely and quite close to the beach.

Beautiful location. We enjoyed a picnic in the car as my dad couldn't make the steep beach access. For a able body person it seemed fairly easy. There were many fishing the area as well as day tripper beach bums like us.

It's a great setting right on the beach. We had a wonderful evening enjoying our meal listening to the waves.

Great experience. Sat outside, oceanfront. Rainbow in background. Lobster cooked to perfection. Green beans were fresh, not out of a can. Blueberry creme brulee was excellent.
