Excellent experience. Came after work when they were just opening. Food was fantastic, welcome atmosphere. Not a fancy place, barely noticeable off the highway, but walk in and it's quite pleasant. Would recommend.

Always really good, solid sushi at a really reasonable price. This is probably my favorite lunch spot on this side of town!

This place has great sushi. I might even say their sushi is better than RA sushi. And we love RA sushi.

I had a nice dinner with friends here, and the general consensus was that we'll have to come back. It took a little time to get a table - our party was a little on the large side, and apparently they seat larger parties upstairs. It wasn't a super-long wait, but it seemed a little odd. Once we were seated, though, it was quiet-ish, service was fairly swift and personable, and the food was pretty tasty all round. Several of the party got sushi and enjoyed it - the rolls tend towards the large side but the quality seemed good. One friend got a dish involving a small grill and some skewered steak - the meat seemed to be of good quality. My wife and I each tried a pair of soups, and both the lobster bisque and the seafood chowder had a strong savory flavor and proper consistency. I look forward to sampling more of the menu on future visits.

They never disappoint. Just had an amazing dinner with my boyfriend. He had the blackened redfish, and I had the ocean smoke house (snapper, a scallop, and two large shrimp on a bed on julienned veggies and mash potatoes with a buerre blanc sauce, all covered in a glass cloche filled with cedar smoke). It was phenomenal. Our server, Candy, took great care of us, and the owner stopped by our table to make sure everything was great.

TL,DR: If seafood is your thing, and especially if you're up for some new flavor combos, please come check out this locally owned spot. You won't be disappointed.

The service here is awesome they took back the food and cooked it to our liking. There steak and fries are unreal.

This is a really unique place with primarily Asian fusion dishes and sushi. I usually get the sushi from the wide variety of items, and it's the best I've had. There are two levels with a casual atmosphere on the bottom and more formal and quiet space upstairs.

Delicious. Sushi. Surf and Turf is can't miss. Rainbow roll was solid.

Our server swapped us out with another server midstream...after our appetizer, prior to dinner arriving. The initial server forgot to put in our cocktail order; had to remind him on two occasions. The new server was worse than the initial server; forgot to bring our soup prior to the dinner...we told him at that point to forget it. The "Flaming Red Fish Snapper" lacked flavor. The sauce is served in a coffee cup!!! Really!?? My nephew's steak was bland and slightly chewy. There is more, but I figure you get the point. We were extremely disappointed with our experience. It was my husband's birthday and we chose this place because of it's reviews and menu.

Food took awhile to get to table. Sauce was not sauce fresh hot on fish, but more heat lamp. Steamed Veggies looked reheated. Waitress did keep water filled. The staff needs a different hang out corner. Some were really loud joking around with each other.

My server was great. Food was delicious could've been better. Definitely can see myself going back to try other dishes. (For my colored people: it's not the seafood we're used to but it's still worth trying!)

Food was delicious as always. While the dishes we were accustomed too had changed some of the components they were still good.

I have been going to Red Fish for years. The food is great, service is very good, the price is great. I rented out the top floor for my wife's 50th. birthday. To celebrate with 50 of are closes friends. They did an amazing job everyone enjoyed the appetizer, beverages and thier dinners. They made it very affordable. If you need to plan a party you should check this place first.

One of the best Sushi and seafood restaurants in northwest Harris county. Ask for a table upstairs. You will enjoy the art. Don't skip the shrimp appetizers, get both. Full bar, good selection of wines. Bring your appetite.

Took my husband here for B'day dinner. First time at this establishment. The fried shrimp was excellent and the salmon augratin was unbelievably scrumptious. Waitress was very personable. A little pricey on some items and if you like sushi there is plenty to choose from on the menu. Will dine there again.

Ate here and ended up with server food poisoning and a G.I infection.

A unique fusion restaurant with a blend of cajun and asian spice with each dish. One of the best seafood restaurants in Houston, with sushi available next to blackened seafood on the menu. Friendly staff, warm & energetic atmosphere.

Food is exceptional, if you are looking for a place to enjoy, what I would call, superior, very close to if not 5 star seafood, this is your place. The plates looked like something out of a magazine review, exceptional. We actually showed up an hour before closing, and the food was fresh, you could tell just prepared from scratch, not something prepped in bulk and than reheated and served.

Fancy or casual, this restaurant has both. You can sit downstairs for a casual lunch, or dine upstairs for a white cloth experience. The good is incredible and is always plated elegantly. The oysters Rockefeller is a must appetizer, and I haven't come across a dinner I did not find delicious. Haven't tried their desserts, but I can only expect it to be as delicious as the main courses.

They'll charge you 7 bucks for 4 stuffed jalapenos....which are actually 2 jalapenos sliced in half long ways. Too expensive for what it is. Kind of a ripoff.

A beautiful and romantic setting. I love the different kinds of unique foods they offer. Definitely not your typical restaurant. Service was quick too.

The food was delicious, as always, but they don't really have the whole curbside option down very well. Waited a long time after I checked in, then found out they had forgotten about me.

First dining experience at the Red Fish. We didn't realize Mondays is a horrible day for visiting. We decided on the Prime Rib (*highly recommended by friends and the waitress), but they informed us the owner decided not to serve it on Mondays. We made a second choice of the seafood mornay; pretty good, but not prime rib good. Ordered desert and after two failed attempts at "guessing"" what was available on the menu, the waitress "found a desert" that was just brought in. The final disappointment was paying the check. We were informed the system did not accept the Visa debit gift cards. The waitress suggested we speak to the owner; he could possibly call it in. The owner tried to explain banking and merchant fees and blah-blah-blah. Too bad he doesn't want to deal with the costs of doing business. It cemented a pretty disappointing experience. People use Visa Debit Gift cards they receive as gifts for special occasions, such as anniversaries!

SUSHI!!! Amazing sushi, really everything is great but thesushi is amazing.

This place is seriously amazing! It doesn't look like much on the outside, bit this belies what you'll find inside! I've tried some of their seafood, and it's always succulent and cooked to perfection, but it seems like I keep coming back to their red meat!! I highly advise trying their sous vide steak and pork belly, and their Piece de Resistance, their dry aged ribeye. The quality of these dishes has me thinking they should change their name to the "Red Meat Grill". And I'm not even getting into their cocktails! Suffice it to say, they're amazing, as well. I've been here on many occasions, and I'm yet to be disappointed. I'll eventually get through their whole menu! They just make it so difficult with dishes you'll want to keep coming back for!!

Just go. The spicy mango tini is phenomenal. The redfish is incredible. Eventually, one of these days, I hope to get my face painted on the wall! But I would go anyway! Yummo!

Food is fabulous! My second visit and did not disappoint.

It s a great place to eat but don t go apply there if your black the owner will act as if he doesn t have the time of day for you .. I ve eaten here befor multiple times and definitely enjoyed it so much that I decided to apply there and was invited for an interview. The assistant GM was awesome he was kind and said they were in need of help but when he spoke to the owner he acted as if i was not worth his time to even acknowledge so at that point I was GOOD ON situation

Really good prime rib! Pleasantly surprised since Red Fish is known for sea food and sushi.

Best meal I have had in a long time. Cooked, seasoned and sauced to perfection. Calamari melted in your mouth. Grouper in key lime sauce with bacon wrapped scallops.... Good Lord. Sushi... top notch. Bread pudding... damn. Roll me out.

Halibut.was very good and generous, shrimp cocktail was delicious but stingy especially for Houston, 6 medium boiled shrimp...seriously?

Food was great! It's a small place but the food makes up for it.

The food here is great but not exceptional. The prices are reasonable. The staff pleasant enough. There is nothing about Red Fish that makes me say, "I'll never eat there again!" But neither is there anything that says, "I can't wait to come back!"

My wife and I ate at Red Fish one Wednesday night after bible study. She had the grilled salmon with red pepper sauce, steamed vegetable and rice. I had the blackened red fish with crabmeat sauce, steamed vegetables and rice. There was no need for to-go-plates here. We enjoyed our meal very much, thank you.

Don't misunderstand. We plan to visit Red Fish again. If for no other reason than to try the sushi. Its just that we won't be running back.

One of my favorite restaurants! The sushi rolls are not only delicious they are huge!! Inexpensive and the staff are very friendly. I suggest this restaurant often for sushi lovers but they have a great entree selection on their menu in addition to sushi.

Foods good, they have bad prep skills. It s been 4 times and they still didn t have what I wanted, order something else... they just ran out . If you like ordering something different every time, it s great.

Second visit, first was much better. Service was average, again, not nearly as good as the first visit.

The Red Fish dinning experience is most excellent as is the fare. I highly recommend the Chilean Sea Bass. You will not be disappointed! In addition the staff is very professional and welcoming. They are highly knowledgeable in their recommendations and the food presentation is beautifully artistic. You will want to photograph your plate and text the picture to your friends. In addition the prices are very reasonable. In me, Red Fish has earned a loyal and satisfied customer. I can not wait for my next dining experience at Red Fish!

Been to plenty of more pricey places and the quality, portions and price are so much better. Making this place my go-to for sushi for now on.

I am in from Maryland...best sushi roll I have had here. finally I got a spicy roll that was actually spicy!! it was also delicious. it's called the 911 roll something...try it. it's awesome.

Always amazing. You can never go wrong with any dish there and it's always served and looks amazing and taste amazing
