Red Arrow camp is an unmatched opportunity for a boy to develop into a leader. The camp believes that leadership is a learned skill. It s truly incredible what can be accomplished in just 7 weeks in the Northwoods.

Boys are given the opportunity to sharpen existing skills; led by expert and qualified instructors, try new things in a safe, exciting way.

A camp committed to being old fashion , where discipline and fun are perfectly balanced. This camp has a rich history, and is committed to cautiously modernizing while keeping its best parts, just the way they are.

To a fault, In a way, Red Arrow men have a belief in the program that is unwavering. A belief that Red Arrow is capable of changing anyone s life who s open to the experience. I wouldn t recommend the camp to any kid that isn t interested in being a better version of himself through a constructive dialogue. Almost everyone at RAC is interested in growing, improving, and most importantly getting along together in a joyful, fulfilling, and respectful manner.

That being said; anyone who is open to having a unique, diverse, exciting, and potentially life changing experience should consider RAC. You ll be glad you did.

A true one of a kind experience for boys ages 8-16. This rustic adventure camp provides an opportunity for true social and physical growth, unplugged for 7 weeks, participating in a variety of structured activity and athletic instruction. In addition, everything from woodworking to choir. Campers are able to step away from camp for two extended trips on the trail and on the river. Truly a life changing experience. I was a counselor there in the late 90's and stay involved with Red Arrow Camp to this day. The greatest gift a parent could give.

Greatest place on earth. It s going to be my 5th summer here.

Each of my six sons has experienced Red Arrow Camp. I've heard each volunteer that the experience changed their lives.

My son just finished his 6th year as a camper at Red Arrow. Other than family, RAC has been the most formative and influential thing in his life. He has gained confidence and independence all while having amazing outdoor experiences that can't be duplicated anywhere else. Our son loves playing a game of basketball at camp as much as he loves paddling a canoe down a river and has made his best friends at RAC. Even more importantly though he has learned that perseverance, discipline, hard work, teamwork and sportsmanship are all vital factors in all of life's endeavors. All RAC experiences are metaphors for living your best life. I attended a nearby girl's camp for 7 weeks so choosing camp for our children was easy for me. My husband begrudgingly agreed as he was not excited about parting with our children for 7 weeks. Now, he will be heartbroken when our son's summers at RAC come to an end as he has come to love the Red Arrow experience as much as the rest of our family. RAC is highly, highly recommended!

Our son attend Red Arrow for 6 years. It taught him so much about life and I'm so proud of the confident young man he is today. As a freshman in college and traveling over 2000 miles away from home, we are convinced the skills and experience he learned at Red Arrow prepared him for life and the young man he is today. Life changing experience.

Red Arrow is uniquely positioned to provide opportunities for real, proven advancement for children. The 7 week program is brilliantly designed to identify multiple areas of growth for children, all while creating meaningful friendships that will literally last a lifetime. Those fortunate to attend RAC will immediately reap the social, athletic and academic benefits that it has to offer, and they'll be encouraged to try new things. RAC makes boys better, plain and simple.

I went there as a shy 11 year old without much idea of what I was getting into. After spending 9 summers at Camp, I can easily say that my RAC friends/relationships are some of the closest I have.

Wonderful place! All my cousins and nephews went there and I visited many times. They all came back with tons of stories of fun adventures and cool activities. And when you visit camp or attend a reunion event you're treated like family. This is a multi-generation thing for my family.

"Don't wait to become a great man, be a great boy" is the motto of Red Arrow Camp. Yes, there are sports. Yes, there is wilderness tripping. For nearly 100 years the culture and tradition of Red Arrow has shaped the character of boys and young men. Be strong enough to let go of your son for a summer he will never forget.

The tradition lives on! I have enjoyed adventures at several camps but the best is still RAC. Red Arrow's ability to build positive character starts with the cabin in building relationships that bond into a team and friendships that last for years. As the sailing instructor from 1972 to 1998, I enjoyed not only seeing the growth in character, but listening to kids about their camp experiences and interactions from their RAC counselors charged with teaching, guiding and safety. The conversations of the many past campers that I taught or enjoyed as their counselor, is so enlightening. Red Arrow mad a positive contribution to their lives that continues. It is great to hear that the RAC tradition is alive and well. Good kids now and great adults for a lifetime.

A camp unlike any other. Red Arrow boys are privileged to go to one of the best camps in the U.S. The 7 week experience on Trout Lake is made even better by continuously fantastic counselors year after year. I attended a rival camp for three years then Red Arrow and I wish I had the chance to attend for longer. Sending a son here is an incredible gift to them and their future

Red Arrow Camp changed my life. I never had the honor to go as a camper, but I had the priveledge of being a counselor. What Red Arrow Camp offers campers and counselors alike is an experience that cannot be compared to any other boys summer camp. It becomes more than a Camp to those that attend, and the generations of boys and men that continue to return to the water of Trout Lake proves that. What Red Arrow does is give young men the confidence to persevere through adversity, reach outside of their comfort zone, experience new things, and develop new skill sets through hard work and determination. I was a counselor for two years and my son was a camper for four years. Camp was a place where my son was unplugged from his phone and electronics and engaged with nature and the boys in camp. My son always came home a better boy- and now looks forward to being a counselor himself. Red Arrow has everything a boy could desire from lake activities to sports to trips to Canada. Wish I could give 10 stars.
