I went there to buy a bike for my daughter. I found a great range of bikes. They have quite a lot of variety. And the price will be depending on the condition of the bike.
Unfortunately after buying the bike, with in 3 months I needed to leave the place and they supported me to return the bike and gave me a full refund. I recommend Recyke-a-bike to all who are searching for an used bike.

Went in with my 13 Yr old son today to see about spare parts for a bike he had bought second hand as a project. Matt was so helpful, really can't thank him enough. He recommended parts and pointed out others we would need. We'd have probably ended up in a right mess without him!

Matt made me an amazing single speed bike from used parts. Perfect for what I wanted. The service I received was fantastic in store and I wouldn't hesitate to use the shop again or recommend to friends.

The staff made me feel welcome and even offered to assist me in maintaining the bike in the future as well.

Low prices plus it makes you feel better knowing the bike is being re-used so it is environmentally friendly at the same time.

I took my Ebike along as I had clipped the pedal on a wall and bent the crank arm. The guys did A fantastic job and bent the damaged arm back and replaced the worn pedals. I was quite surprised at how little I was charged so I went in to the cafe and enjoyed breakfast roll and coffee (also very reasonable) and made a donation. I will definitely take my bike back here if I have any more problems.

Recyke-a-bike, as the name suggests, collects unwanted bikes and either repairs them for resale or strips out useful parts. They have a wide selection of bikes for sale and also parts such as wheels, tyres, brake blocks etc. They will also carry out repairs on your bicycle.

The team at recyke-a-bike is incredible! We had an issue with one of our bikes during our cycle trip, and they did everything they could to repair it, and they did it !
While the mechanics worked on the bike, the rest of the team was incredibly caring.
If you have an issue with your bike or need a new one, you don t have to hesitate a second: this is the place to go.

I know I'm writing this review during the pandemic but I feel the service in store was more or less absent. After making an appointment two days in advance where they even asked what type of bike and wheel size I needed they had three bikes with my wheel size but fitted none of the criteria specified. What was the point in asking? I know that they are giving scrap bikes a new lease of life but this review isn't about the bikes themselves.

This is an important service in Stirling -- a community bike shop.

They have a huge space where second hand bikes are displayed, parts sold and bikes fixed. They also have a cafe.

But they're more than just a bike shop -- they service Stirling's public bikes (Nextbike) and they run free evening workshops in bike maintenance.

And, the most important thing, they're friendly.

Fantastic little business with brilliant staff. If you are looking for a quality secondhand bike, this is the place to go. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful and you can try before you buy. They also do repairs to your own bikes.
On top of that a brilliant cafe on site offering a nice range of hot and cold food.
I recommend the soup and sandwich combo.

On a bike trip around Scotland, I broke my wheel near Stirling. This shop is the only one in town who made it to find another rare sized wheel for my bike, to fix my breaks, even if it was really difficult to do so (my bike is an old french one, the spare parts can't be found anymore). They were the nicest team you can imagine, they saved my trip. Thanks to all the crew from France if you read this !

Great and helpful staff, we got our sons first pedal bike from here, they checked it and even let him pick new pedals to customise it.

The cafe is great, and inexpensive, with a small but tasty menu.

I also booked through the Stirling Cycle Hub to attend a 3 week bike maintenance course for free at the location. It covered all the way from puncture repair upto re-indexing gears.

2 bikes repair/serviced. You have to wait an unspecified time for the work, first bike still needed brakes adjusted and the tyre rubbed on the mudguard.
Second bike was in for a Gold service and asked that the cable outer on the back brake be replaced as it was jamming. Got a Silver Service as the mechanic felt it only needed that? So no new cables and no cleaning of chain and running gear and I had to wait 8 days for this! Left it at that as I have no confidence that any work would be carried out to any standard.

Tried it and wouldn't do it again.

Lots and lots of cheap bikes and a the cheapest repairs/servicing you'll find in the area. However if you're after either quality or prompt turnaround times this isnt the place for you. It's cheap and cheerful and an excellent community project if you just need a normal bike. Staff are friendly

This is a terrific social business, providing active green travel opportunities to Stirling and beyond. The team here do a great job of taking old bikes, repairing and refitting them, then selling the bikes on at very reasonable prices. You can also get bike parts here, from inner tubes to handle bars, and the guys will go out of their way to offer advice and tips on what would be most suitable for you. Many of the staff here are volunteers too, and can offer advice on great cycle routes as well as arranging guided bike rides around the town, ranging from easy rides on cycle network tracks up to technically challenging MTB routes. The site also has an affordable cafe, the prices of which to go support the charitable activities. Recyke-a-bike is a brilliant asset to the community, and I totally recommend stopping by to chat with the awesome team, and popping in if you ever need anything bike related.

Needed a bike for commuting and some occasional trails, and even though the shop floor was mostly sold out, I got to pick any bike I wanted from out back. Vicky and Jamie also stripped the bike down and replaced wheels, tires, grips, pedals and saddle, checked the whole thing over. Really great hands on place, can't wait until I need another bike - thanks guys!

Excellent quality of service and pricing is really really sensible, sometimes I even want to donate just because I think they did a better job than they asked money for. Highly recommended!
