We agreed on the asking price for the property and the closing process was going on. The inspection, appraisal, title search and the financing was all done. And 5 days before Closing the title company found out that there was a Front foot benefit fee of $550 per year for 17 years left on the property! Thats $9350 from my pocket. And when contacted, this guy was like ya I forgot to disclose that and you can back out of the contract if you want . I had already given notice to my apartment, packed my stuff, got my loan processing done and my move fully planned and now he just wont even give a $1000 credit towards this and is asking me to walk away if I want. He knows I cant back away at this point and is just using that fact. Worst realtor experience ever.
