Great service, great food! Our service was great on December 30 for my birthday lunch, I wish I could remember her name. Food was good all around, my only complaint was the "Shanghai" sauce on my salmon was so incredibly salty, it made the rice and spinach underneath inedible. However when I commented, the server asked what I wanted to do and they were totally receptive to remaking the rice and veggies (luckily the salmon didn't get soaked so was ok!). I was happy with how they handled it, though I would suggest the chef taste that sauce again! Nice ambiance, warm, cozy and romantic. Not cheap but I don't expect that from a seafood restaurant downtown AA!

I've lived downtown Ann Arbor for 17 yrs. For the most part I've always enjoyed the food and ambiance. However, my last two visits were disappointing. Both times I ordered clams with fettuccine. One of my favorites. The clams were sandy and tough. Again, disappointing!!

Service was deplorable, food was mediocre and the price was ridiculous. Our server never seemed to care about us, our food was overcooked and tasted frozen. We won't be returning here, save your money and your stomach and go anywhere else.

Good food, we had sweet and spicy calimarie, jambalaya and seafood Alfredo. All of which were delicious. Our waitress was very helpfull and pleasant. Little pricey 45 dollars +gratuity, we didn't have any drinks besides water.

We're here from out of town, for my fiance's surgery tomorrow. He wanted seafood, so we went. I hate seafood, so I had fried brussel sprouts. They tasted and looked burnt. The waiter never asked us if we'd like anything to drink, just gave us water. Very pricey.

Called to check on wait times and reservations and was on hold for a generic number for quite a while.... Just ended up hanging up and decided to go elsewhere. Disappointing as we really like r.s.c.

This was our first restaurant visit after the pandemic started, so we were a little bit anxious. We felt great, the restaurant setup was good keeping everyone at distance and all the personnel was very careful.
Food was good as always (especially the Mizo Sea Bass) and service was great.
I only would like a broader selection for dessert.

Excellent food!

Excellent service!

The Chilean Sea Bass is one of their best fresh catch...soft, flaky, like butter that melts in your mouth! So many great dishes to enjoy. Fresh oysters...escargot... calamari for appetizers!

The wait staff is not up to the caliber of old. It used to be a very high-end restaurant with damn near psychic wait staff. Now the service is borderline self serve. You have constantly ask for things, they skipped orders, threw away food that was supposed to be boxed, and just plain didn't provide service by that would be expected from such a quality restaurant. The food itself was ok.

Every year this is my eatery for my birthday. I never know in the last 10 years, how I will be greeted, treated or served. I am reminded that I am just another average human with another day under my belt, nothing special. Regardless of the human component, I always tip 30% or more, order 1-2 sets of escargot and usually the seafood linguini &/ or pasta. This has been my ritual every year, among other more joyful self-acknowledgements.

I simply cannot recall a restaurant meal that I've enjoyed so much. In Philadelphia for a brief, last-minute trip, we booked a late dinner at Vetri (last table seated that evening). It was worth staying up for -- every dish was exquisite, especially the famed gnocchi, light as air. And the service was so cheerful, engaged and considerate. Worth every penny and every minute. We may come back to Philly just to eat here again.

Oysters tasted brined but large and meaty.b Sent back the mussels because they smelled like wet dog and barn yard. Scallops had potential yesterday. But today they were this side of off, gritty and bland. Give this place a pass unless it's happy hour. A+ martinis.

Celebrated a 23rd Anniversary with reservations at RSC last night at 7pm ET. Appetizer was Calamari & Bread. Dinner was Crab Cakes w/New Potatoes w/Coleslaw, Lake Trout w/Asparagus. Drinks Bombay Sapphire and Long Island Ice Tea. Food was great but took a long long time to get served. Ambiance was appalling. Just so happens that the Pipe Fitters Union was there and we were mix in with the Union Folks. Noisy as anyone can imagine. We left after eating and our ears felt like we attended a hard rock concert. I called RSC Management and voiced our experience. They apologized but offered nothing as incentive to return ASAP to have a better experience. I would have offered a discounted meal or appetizers. I rate RSC a 5 star on food, 4 star on price and 3 star on Ambience. There were tables available where a couple could carry on a conversation.

Our waiter James, who was wearing a red and black seafood tie, was delightful, knowledgeable and very helpful. He did an outstanding job. The calamari was cooked perfectly. My dinner was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Its a nice place but three of the last five trips our lobsters were undercooked. Also, beware of seating near large parties. Can get very loud and no one will tell them to quiet down. Have had multiple bad experiences with rowdy large tables. Food is pretty good overall though, so give it a try.

Hands down, the best place for seafood and fish in Southeast Michigan.

It is expensive, do not come looking for a bargain. But, the food is well worth it.

Frankly, I think all other seafood and fish restaurants have to be compared to it.

Honestly, good, but not great. This place tends to get a lot of hype, but is quite expensive and in my experience the dishes are a bit hit or miss. Definitely check out their birthday deals though! Although the food is nothing to write home about, the service is excellent :)
