Rampart Casino Review

I came here for Veterans Day and it wasn't super packed in the buffet. Since the last time I visited this casino there has been quite a bit of remodeling. The sports book directly across from the buffet has been updated and modernized. The same is true of the buffet and it has outdoor patio seating which is really nice. I will be back to check out the additional upgrades and catch a football game in the near future. Would recommend paying the Rampart a visit if you are in the area.

We came here Thanksgiving day for a family buffet. We found it somewhat confusing, and a bit disorganized. We thought the carving station could have been better arranged. They had a long line for the beef ham and chicken, but unfortunately had all their side dishes like stuffing and potatoes there as well. I think they should have just left it to carving meats with two people on each meat carving, and left the side dishes at another station. All I wanted was potatoes and I had to stand in line to get to it. We thought that at $24 per person without a card and 22 with a player's card, was a little high for what you got. The turkey was the rolled variety and not the whole turkey. We thought that the yams were a little runny and not quite as appetizing as I've had others.as I mentioned I stood in line for the potatoes and when I got to the gravy found that the gravy was empty. I told one of the servers about it. it wasn't replenished even though I waited in line I thought maybe another minute. I couldn't recommend this place for a Thanksgiving dinner. I thought they would have to up their game quite a bit more for us to come back.

I would like to make a complaint! I went there on Friday night, 2 weeks ago on March 15, & the only black guy working the crab legs /pizza line , WITH NO PLASTIC GLOVES ON!!!!! Gross & very unsanitary & he was the only one NOT wearing them! He gave me the impression that he was too good to wear the gloves ?? I had never seen him b4...i was happy that he wasn t working last Friday night , March 23rd, cause nothing turns me off more, than to see someone that handles & prepares food that will be going in my mouth, not wearing gloves !!! Hands are the dirtiest part of your body cause you touch millions of things that other people have touched , & thats how you get diseases ! GROSS

Staff are great, good mix of new and older machines.

Save your money during this covid thing they wiped out your points and you can drop a hundred bucks in there in about five minutes not win anything and they won't even comp you pack of cigarettes LOL looking for a new favorite

The casino was clean and not too noisy. The grounds are gorgeous, great for a little walk. The Marriott hotel next door is fun and affordable with beautiful views from any room.

Fabulous European feel architechture with amenities galore. Definitely on my shot list of off "the ship & downtown casino/hotels"
Impressive is a fitting adjective

I have anxiety and panic attack end the firts room is very depressed for me when am open the window is parking lot end mountain. So l call for see if is something available to better view because l can't stay in places depressing l feel uncomfortable in the room so when l call one ladie she help me a lot. End she give to me another room with better view there l can relax better end she call me again for make sure am ok in the room or she can find me other room better view. So l appreciating the what she do for me .thank you very much ladie hotel Marriott .

I love the Market Buffet at Rampart! It's just big enough, but not too big. It's clean and neat. Most of all, the food is really good! The price is right AND I had a coupon...even better!!!
My husband and I will make it our dinner spot from now on.

Went to eat at the buffet after the area was remodeled it seemed like everything changed regarding the food. Nothing tasted the same I had to request a refund. I wont be going back anytime soon

Seafood and steak buffet was decent, everyone is respectful there, won some money on blackjack.

Same as always lousy machine no waitresses spent 100.00 on penny machine you would think you could get at least 1 drink but then again when you only get to play for less then an hour WHAT EVER

They had a great oldies band playing in the bar and some people were dancing. This was on a Saturday night.

Clean, crowded and not as smoky as most casinos. Lots of great restaurants to choose from and free entertainment

It's always smoky. When will it become a smoke free environment. It gets on your clothes and hair. Second hand smoke can kill you.

Slots are fun to play. It sometimes takes a bit to get a brinks...

Remodeled buffet is very impressive. Food variety and quality was excellent. Casino was average not a big variety of table games but there is a nice compliment of older and new slot machines.

Nice place to play for a while. So far, I have not lost, haven't won a lot but it's nice to leave with what you came with and a little more. Not too congested and the music and entertainment suite me better than most casinos. It's not so screaming loud.

Buffet had exceptional prime rib tonight... but best was those mini creme brule desert cups... ya gotta go get some....

Spent 600.00 and couldnt even get free spins machines so tight

The experience was great. Had breakfast then went for a walk in the Marriott hotel.

Great hotel/resort, almost everything you need is there, gym, restaurants and much more.

Awesome Buffet! This resort is not far from my grandma's house.

Good social distancing... Temperature check on the way in; every-other machine was turned-off to keep people separated. Employees visibly wiping machines and chairs.

Best place to gamble in this city. Tim at the players club is the best...polite, knowledgeable and just plain nice, that's one thing we don't see in Vegas anymore. Love the rampart...

The buffet up stairs was terrible..No ribs for Saturday...the butter for the crab legs was cold..Terrible may be the new renovation on the old buffet will be worth the wait. Also what happen to all the cocktail servers. You were once able to have a cocktail server come around every 20 minutes now less servers and you get one every 30 minutes to an hour if your lucky. Half the time I need to call change personnel to call for a drink.

One of my favorite casinos for music and dancing. It's an older crowd that frequents this casino. Every time I have been there I have seen live performances for free and many people dancing. Also food is good with very reasonable prices.

Horrible place. Please don't waste your money or time.Ate at a restaurant called Deli hut, Yikes over priced, cold food,stale bread.Trust me this is one place doing everything possible to keep the lights on.We didn't see anyone winning any money, only loosing.The kinda place that makes you sad and uneasy walking in the door. .

Not a fun place. Robbed me of $350.00 in an hour lol. Never lost that fast.

Overall nice casino, machines tend to be a bit tight.. restaurants for me were a bit pricey.

First class Hotel and Spa the casino is always good

We are locals and always gamble on the strip. We have the highest tier card at Cosmo. Lately because what was going on the strip we decided to gamble at rampart casino.Worst casino player experience we had . The casino host brenda park called us left us message if we wanted to stay and have dinner because she saw how much we gambled $$$$ that night . So we called her back on october 13 told her we would like to stay on October 16 and 17. On October 16 we arrived, we meet her at her office, she told us we don't have room available. I can't believe she had 3 days to follow up with us to confirm about the room. I can't believe it's Marriott. All she did was apologize. She blamed reservations department for her mistake. She must know someone to get a job as a host at rampart because she definitely doesn't know how to do her job. She had our information on a napkin which was very funny. I seen more professional people working in a 3 star hotel. We will never gamble there. Thank you for nothing.

I decided to visit the casino - very good service. I give a rating of 5.

Really amazing food. The renovation is even more amazing than before. I really like how they re-did everything. I also feel that with the new renovation the food got even better to.

There are certainly better casinos, but I find casinos basically boring. The cellars were friendly.

Incredibly unremarkable. Like many casinos, this one is rather boring and depressing. I spent three days at a conference there and every time I had to walk through the casino, I never saw anyone smiling...just robots staring at screens and pushing buttons and methodically feeding bills into them..and it stinks of smoke

Nice clean casino.. was hopi g to see mr.vegas low roller here today but like my stay no luck lol...would definitely visit again

The new buffet still needs work served alot if the food was cold. Food was good but needs work......

At this time face masks are required and security checks your temperature when you walk in. I did see employees sanitizing the machines and it looked very clean everywhere I was.

We went to the buffet in the casino. The food was AMAZING and flavorful. I enjoyed every single bite. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Our drinks were never empty.

Rampart Casino is a very nice casino and tonight we ate at the Promenade Cafe. The service was excellent, the price of meals more than reasonable and the food was delicious. They have a great menu selection and literally something for everyone.

Casino has great machines and if you go after 12am till 6am they have awesome graveyard specials for $2.99.

Steak and lobster 9.99$ When they first started promotion few months ago the steak was normal thick... now paper thin

Playing black Jack was a joke. Everyone at the table was winning then they switched dealers who came with a smirk that appeared to be saying "I'm getting all that money back ", and in just one double deck round she cleared the entire table. The slots were no better.
