A pleasant discovery after so many years that I frequent Sofia ... In the past it had never attracted me much, the hotel structure of the old regime and the proximity to the Casino and the area of the station in the past not too well attended. The reality is very different and pleasant. By now almost all the rooms are renovated and beautiful as well as all the common areas. The staff is friendly and very professional and the hotel management is very attentive and organized. The cleaning and care of the rooms is also excellent. Swimming pool for guests and a spa complete the picture. In the neighborhood, five minutes walk, there is one of the best traditional restaurants in Sofia and the center, the Church of Santa Domenica is less than 15 minutes on foot. In the neighborhood there is also the Metro station. The cost of the room is more than acceptable. To improve only the indoor restaurant, good food, to be made less anonymous.

Stayed at the hotel when there was an emergency situation in Bulgaria in connection with the coronovirus. At the entrance, the temperature was measured non-contact. The number corresponded to the declared level. Very useful was drinking water and tea and coffee making facilities. My reservation did not include breakfast. They offered to bring to the room after 9 am for an additional fee, the restaurant worked only on order and take-away.
The central bus station is a 5-minute walk, which was decisive when booking the hotel.
Thanks to the management and staff for their excellent work in the difficult quarantine environment.

We was a group of 15 people and we stay in the hotel for 14 days.. one by one we been robbed. We was going to work during the day, and in the night we was founding our room door open... We went to complain and the receptionist was really arrogant, so we ask to talk with the manager and show up a guy that was definitely not the manager .. so we went to the police station around the corner for start a legal way ...and the police man confirmed to us that there was a bad situation in the hotel... Btw thx to our company that jump in the middle of the situation we got a refound after few monts.. but nothing will change the terrible experience we had.

Room was terrible ! I paid 100 euro and the room was dirty, the TV is from 90 s with 10 tv channels, walls in the room was dirty also the carpet. I spoked with manager who was also arrogant and foolish, he told me that I need to pay more for better room. You can find way better place for 30 euro in Sofia. I will never visit this hotel again !

I enjoyed it very much. I was there in 2014. The kitchen is a Swiss table. It is very cool. When I was on the fourth floor it turned out very cool room. I spent 2 days. And, as a matter of fact, the keys are some green cards.

It was very cool. Only dinner was a Subway sandwich that did not eat at all.

Location is fine for the city itself. Not too far from local amenities and has a nice sports cafe across the road. Room was quite spacey. However thermostat and AC didnt work. The shower was loose and the temperature tap was not functioning correctly. There was a kettle on the desk but no tea/coffee cups or utensils so not exactly sure what they wanted to give me a kettle for. No Iron in the room but this can be requested from the front desk. Onsite Gym and Spa which is good but limited to treadmills and bikes

Great Hotels of Sofia, near the train station. The outdoor area is not the best, but it is not far from the center. Rooms and bathrooms clean and large enough. Very busy hotel, so I recommend breakfast quite early or late. Avoid rush hours. Staff were helpful and kind. Overall acceptable.

Spoiler: You have to level up to gain a better guest expirience.

This is now my second stay and I am now level5 which means I do not have a non working CRT TV and in my bathroom no more water drops from the ceiling. I heard from a Level 9 guy that they even have non stinking rooms ...
It seems that in the levels above 9 they also get young girls at the early morning hours ... as seen during my last stay (level 3) or it had someting to do with the turkish delegation which stayed in the hotel and those poorly dressed girls were begging for economic help ... for about 20 mins ...

Summary: Level UP!

It's a Ramada! As a Building its dated as are the rooms however the bed and bathroom are fine for a one or two night stay. Breakfast is a buffet which has an excellent spread of options. It's a 15 - 20 minutes walk to the city centre and there are other hotels closer to it. It has a casino which may appeal to some!

Great

You will never get for what you going to pay! The staff there it's not ok, and I'm not talking about how they look, I mean they acting like you are in the prison! Bad attitude, bad behaviour and the worst thing are that none of the people there is able to speak normal average English language! And when I mean normal, I mean basic level, not a level of business language! The management of the place has to invest more in they employ, not just to use them as wet wipes! Thank you for your attention!

We were a group of 6 rooms.
The rooms in which we stayed were bleak. Old furniture, wardrobes with metal door like a garage closet ...
The toilet is crowded and the toilet is very uncomfortably located. Old furniture, no picture on the walls, no safe.
The location of the hotel is excellent, the metro is close, all other modes of transport are close by.
The rooms we stayed in were suitable for a hostel, not a four-star hotel.

The rooms are OK but need updating , WiFi terrible, . I could live with that , BUT the RUDEST bar staff I have ever meet , constantly got orders wrong and then blamed us and we're bad mannererd towards us. The reception staff were friendly and courteous It's a pity about these staff . Ruined the experience.

The room i stayed in was desperately disgusting. To be more precise there were some sort of fungi growing on the carpet that gifted the room with a vomit inducing smell alongside with the vent that blew funny smelling air inside. Also the entrance of the spa flooded the lobby with a steamy chlorine scent.

The location is nearby the metro and bus station. Many shops around.
Value is perfect compared to the stay.
Very clean and comfort rooms.
The duty Manger was very supportive as we had an issue with the payment.
The best SPA i have ever tried. Mr. Daniel is the best and he knows what he is doing.

Staff needs to be aware And trained more how to deal with customers. It's very rare to see a smile on their faces. Thier reply to our questions with wonder.
