Ramada Plaza Karachi Review

While on way to Karachi Airport we stop here for high tea. Noisy and congested set up where you can have varied eateries in reasonable price.

A standard Ramada look with below average food taste

Hotel is nice. Big enough and with great outdoor restaurant.
Maintenance soso. And staff really slow for check in and check out
Room keys never works and need to go back to reception often.

Feel safe there. Lot of security and controls
But as to be in an island and cannot go out freely

Amazing hotel with best environment and this place is near to airport

Their hitea sometimes very fresh sometimes not so fresh ... Dinner is quite good ... Ambiance is great ... Relaxing place

Been there a few times for sandwiches during my visit to Karachi. Service can be extremely slow. Overall no issues. Superb and peaceful location

Ambiance was good but too many local people specially interior reps. I was shocked to know that restaurant timings are limited till 11pm even in saturday nights

Good place for corporate meetings and great venue for short visit for karachi near to airport.

Located just near the fort in city(perfect location),the hotel is clean and provides u great hospitality.The hotel owner Mr.Mukesh is very helpful and will guide u throughout your stay.The staffs were very helpful.The hotel provides u almost every facilities from good rooms to desert safari,jeep safari,camel safari and tent stay.
The rooftop cafeteria of hotel was great.wen i say food was great(i mean it :))Overall experience was awesome.I'll recommend dis hotel to every couple and families:). You wont regret,just be there:)

its a great place for different occasions like wedding ceremonies, parties etc and good area for gym and fitness and more you can come for swimming classes with kids too.

The Hotel is worned out. The feeling is old and dirty.

My experience was not too bad but wasn't happy because of number of things. It was clean close to airport that's all fine but food was not up to my standards. I had club sandwich and it was worst one ever bread was too hard and crumbling everywhere. For almost same price or little bit more try movenpick hotel best location perfect food, top service you can get. Yes it's far from air port, it takes 40 minutes drive but worth it.

Good Hotel, the major thing is, its closest to the Airport, so in case of any emergency people can stay there

Friendly staff. But it was noisy in the early morning. Could not sleep well. Also the food quality is not up to the mark

Ramada is amazing in most of the aspects the ambience, quality and staff is brilliant. The quality of food is nice as well.

Excellent place to stay for relaxation. if you are looking for markets nearby, then this place is not for you.

Went for high tea and was well satisfied though 1150+ 150(for dont know what; may be tax) was 25% higher side. (Bcs of price n cold servings 4 star otherwise 5)

Surrounding is awesome very quite and green away from city rush, ample parking. Must visit.

Inside black and beige tone is perfect.

Nice high tea variety with most of the taste being very good. Samosa, chat, haleem, fruit chat, cutlets, chicken cheese finger, fried chicken etc. I loved mild chilli flavors.

Sandwiches were dead cold hence useless though brown bread was nice to have, fish still had smell, and pakora had excessive oil (home like taste). Prune sauce had some difficult taste which I couldn't guess and chilli garlic was over spicy.

Juices were artificial I believe but still very good and mild (lemonade was excellent with mint taste) . Kheer had excessive khoya (thickened dry milk used in desi sweets and deserts) taste with rice not fully blended yet kheer was yummy.

Could try more though. Definitely visiting again.

I had lunch and attended a Workshop of 5 days. Excellent place with good staff. Good quality was pretty good.

Best stay service you will get in this hotel. Food taste was best serving was also gud and the beautiful sceneries you will get in this hotel will make your stay more nostalgia

My first ever dining experience @ Ramada. Well...it was a disappointing one!

NOT RECOMMENDED

Let me explain why I was disappointed:

First of all..the hi-tea was setup alongside pool area and the irony of the matter was...there were people swimming in the pool. It was not only disturbing but in fact...annoying.

The seating was somewhat acceptable and showed that it would have been impressive once upon a time. Lack of maintenance was apparent.

Now let's move to our focal point I.e. FOOD. Cost 1300/head.

If you think that you are going to enjoy a lavish variety of pakistani and continental dishes (as claimed by the management).. well..you are not.

There was not a single main course dish except for Chicken Haleem which was more of chicken daal than haleem.

They served Chicken boti as barbq item, and it felt like It was made by my young cousins when we have a barbq party at home sometime. They wouldn't care about whether the meat was cooked or not...or if the meat contains coal smoke aroma or not. They are just happy that they made it...its up to you if you wanna eat or not.

Pasta was nice but where it should have been thinly sliced chicken strips...there were sliced pepperoni. And quite boldly...they named it Beef Pasta

The chicken wings were nice too. Also there were assorted samosas, patties, kachori and chana chaat. Some brown and white bread sandwiches which contained pepperoni or cheez. Oh...there were French fries too.

The Lahori fish was bad...it felt like they just re-heated some previously cooked fish. There was no sauce to go with it.

Now the dessert bar did some damage control with some nice croissants, assorted glazed puffs, mousse and pastries.

The tea was freshly made and served. You can enjoy regular milk tea along with green tea.

To sum it all up, the food was below standard and wasn't worth the price tag. The ambience was somewhat acceptable. The lack of cleanliness showed on the cutlery, dinnerware and the buffet area.

In such a competitive environment where there are gazillions of great dining options available... Ramada need to up there game big time!!
