Nice location, friendly staff only let down by poor evening meal.

A beautiful hotel set in the heart of the countryside. The staff are lovely and helpful.

Excellent service and food for the Fawlty Towers evening.

We stayed here many years ago when it was a Jarvis Hotel. This comes nowhere near to it. Rooms average, food ok, just lacks a bit of finesse.

A dear friend had a lovely wedding here and the best time of her life yet! Highly recommend , 5 stars all round

Very pleasant welcome on what appeared to be the reception desk. Room was big and spacious with an over king sized bed and table and chairs. T. V was modern and in the right place to view it. Room was very warm but we could open the window or use the efficient air conditioning. We had a view over the garden and Lake. Breakfast was good buffet and also cooked selection. Hotel is in its own large grounds. If you don't want to eat here you will need to go at least 10 minutes in the car. There are no shops in the large village. Would not say it is 4 star as advertised.

What a fantastic hotel in a truly wonderful location. We stayed just for one night wished we had been able to stay longer but will go back soon. The service was excellent the staff were fantastic and the food amazing luckily we managed to eat our evening meal on the terrace with the sun setting behind the woods below fantastic atmosphere and great value for money.

Very outdated hotel... Head of reception lady, was very difficult. Kept blaming covid for everything she said 'covid times' to almost every request.

We booked a late checkout to have a bit of a lay in and was disturbed by the gardening crew from 7am mowing the lawn and racket with all the power tools. I guess the windows are not even sound proof.



Overall, I would not stay there again. Happy booking.

Good staff . Very clean room. Bar and Restaurant good. Service at table needs a bit of training but other than that its fine.

The hotel was lovely, very warm especially at night but fan was provided. Everyone was pleasant and welcoming smiles everywhere!, and a massive shout out to Roberto behind the bar who made our stay even more pleasant! You are a credit to the hotel. Thankyou to all x

Great Christmas party venue. Staff were lovely except from one barman who was aggressive. Rooms are fantastic.

Our plan was to stay somewhere in the Cottsworld but all the rooms were booked there , so we found this one and loved it. a Great setting and felt like a 5 star. unbelievably low priced rooms and food was fantastic and very reasonable . The staff were so efficient in every corner of this well run Hotel. We shall definitely return and I would like to congratulate the management for making our one night stay so special. Thanks again. Lovely setting and grounds but hotel needs updating... Especially the bathrooms. Also very hot and stuffy in the room with no ventilation.

No air con and room was very stuffy on a hot evening. Also no tea bags or coffee provided in room. Food was very good but pricey.

Beautiful setting, fantastic food and service with friendly staff

We had such a lovely stay at the Bowden Hall Hotel. The staff were so attentive and really made the whole experience feel very special. Would definitely recommend a stay or dining in the restaurant.

Room was great, no lift with a 14month old and on the top floor was a chore. Beautiful surroundings and room service was very good.

In a beautiful location. I attended an interview hosted by the hotel. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Hotel well presented. There was a stepladder in one or the rooms we were using, apart from that a really good experience!
