I would very happily recommend Raine and Horne Gosford. My investment property was advertised on Thursday 29th November, as my current tenants were moving to a bigger property. By 11:30am on the following Wednesday the property had been inspected, the preferred applicant's application had been fully approved and the property had been leased. Less than one week! This would definitely have to be some sort of record, especially given then time of year. Thank you to the team at R&H Gosford, especially Alicia Stacey for providing me with timely updates on the process.

Just over the month ago, I decided it was time for me to move up the central coast from Sydney and The amazing team from Raine & Horne Gosford/East Gosford made the transition such a breeze. Fantastic properties with a great price. You can find a great place to rent and within your budget at Raine & Horne. Never had a real estate that is so nice, understanding, if you have any issue at all, the team make sure it s dealt with immediately. They strive to make all their tenants comfortable and happy. Really dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of care for clients from the leasing team. Viewed a property on a Saturday, applied for it right away and it took them a week to get back to us. We called every day to find out what was happening and each day were given different answers from the receptionist staff and property manager Kristen. Apparently the application was being presented to the owner one day and then the next it was still with the processing team? Funny how it was with the processing team for 5 days but not one of our references was called. Then we find out a week later that the property was leased because we called again. They didn't even bother to call and let us know. We thankfully secured a property through Raine and Horne Terrigal who were amazing to deal with and got back to us within a day. We don't care that we didn't get the property, we just care about the time frame, especially being so close to Christmas? People are desparate to find homes, and this agency just takes their sweet time. At the least, keep your clients updated. Disappointed.

Terribly unprofessional! They called it human error! Don't deal with Raine and Horne. There is much much better real estate agents out there. This company is all over the shop. Too many chiefs!

I wanted to say how thankful and appreciated I am to have Jayde as my property manager. I know I can't always be the easiest to deal with but Jayde is always so patience, professional and so kind since the very start when I moved into the property and ongoing throughout my lease. Terrible agent to deal with! Unlawfully entered our property for an inspection without notifying us at all and couldn t care less that I am concerned by this. Continued response from them is to say the girl who did the inspection no longer works for them so it s not their problem anymore. When I asked Kristen who it was who unlawfully entered our home without our consent her response was to inquire why I needed to know this and asked if I was going to stalk them...so unprofessional and a personal attack on my good character I feel which isn t appreciated at all.

Were great to deal with when Kelly Mcleish was managing our property for the first 2.5 years but since she has moved on the quality of service and staff has deteriorated rapidly. Failure to respond to maintenance requests at all meant I had to present at the office in person to have anything actioned.

Very disappointing experience I recommend people do not rent a property through this agency as they will treat you with no consideration or respect and then make you feel as though you are wrong for having the courage to speak up regarding their unlawful practices.

As a landlord I have had exceptional service from Raine and Horne Gosford. The staff are friendly and very professional; I highly recommend them.

I don't recommend renting through Raine & Horne Gosford. Our landlords changed real estates to them and we could not get out of there fast enough. They were unwilling to help us out at all.
They have no concept of empathy for clients and treat you as just another number. I will never ever rent through them ever again. And I cannot express my complete disgust at the way the deal with their customers.

As an owner I have felt Jayde Bennett is a pleasure to deal with, her professionalism, communication and knowledge is second to none and she has made the experience of managing our property to even after we had sold our home a memorable one. One of the worst real estate agents, not only one employee but the whole agency.
They refused to give me an extra set of keys when my wife arrived from overseas, unless i pay them $800.00
They claimed the whole bond and emailed me a set of damaged items that has not been recorded by them in the existing report. They turned to be liars in front of the tripunal and i got my money back.

DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO SPEND THE NIGHT SLEEPING ON THE STEET .

I have visited the office today as per their request in the reply. They did nothing. They are just trying to fix their bad image. Which i believe will be not able to as long as the bad management still in place.

Was looking to rent a property, was told by the letting agent that the property was not available to view until today. Was also told by the letting agent no applications would be processed until the property had been viewed in person. Registered to view the property and told this morning, the morning of the viewing that the property had been leased. Very disappointed and completely unprofessional.

Be careful to rent from them, will give you much trouble, Deceitful and Not professional, watch out your bond, they took $1000 from tenant's bond to pay their contracted cleaner, only for a two bedroom unit and only rented for a month, Just need to be VERY CAREFUL !

One of the worst agent, I have rented through. No communication, they come to property without notice, agent was rude while talking with me although she came without my permission. They insisted saying I broke the blind, who in the earth breaks blind/ curtain.
I will never suggest this agent to anyone. They will rip you off and ask for rent although if you leave the property and has still not given my bond back. Nearly 2 months still waiting for my bond back.

I can highly recommend Raine & Horne Gosford and East Gosford. I have been dealing with them for several years and all the staff are always willing to help where they can. They are full of exceptional knowledge whenever I have asked questions regarding the rental market. I would happily pass on their contact details for anyone looking at managing their property through them.

I had a rental with the same company for over 20 years, Raine and Horne purchased the rental portfolio. My experience was mixed, at times they were not looking after the interests of the landlord (me). I cannot recommend their rental department. I did with some reservation sell my house through them, Kristian looked after this. I must say he far exceeded our expectations and I found myself very happy with selling through Raine and Horne, not just price and timing, Kristian was handson helping and guiding us with having the property made good after a very poor rental handover - Antone

Why are you moving to a prime shop font in East Gosford? We don't need more real estate agents on our main street. East Gosford is known for its cafes, restaurants and boutiques. You are not welcome.

Raine & Horne Gosford has looked after multiple properties for me in the past five years. Everyone I have worked with was extremely professional and responsive. Melanie was the most wonderful and accommodating property manager you could dream of, you do not need to worry about anything if Mel is looking after it. I also enjoyed working with Blake who sold two of my investment properties, it was a very smooth selling experience on both occasions.

I rented a property through Raine and Horne Gosford from 2009 to 2014. Was thoroughly happy with their service during the term of the tenancy. Today (June 2018) I received a call from them regarding my former tenancy. I was a bit apprehensive when I returned the call but needn't have been. It appears they have been auditing their accounts and had discovered that they owed me a modest sum of money. The fact that they went to the trouble of calling me and have refunded the money is astounding service. Thank you Danielle in particular for the phone call. Any REA that goes to this extent has got to be highly recommended.

As a landlord of this agency, I have nothing but praise for the way my property managers have handled the letting of my investment property in Gosford. They had a number of applications early in the leasing process and had vetted the tenants before bringing the applications to me. It gave me peace of mind that my property manager wanted me to have a low impact tenant on my property and even got me a rental price slightly above what we were asking for on the ad. The team at Raine and Horne Gosford are reliable, hard working and friendly. Our team has worked with their office for many years to provide services for their tenants requiring screens and locksmiths. Melanie is super efficient and has always been a pleasure to deal with.

To homeowners, I would NOT recommend you hiring Raine and Horne Gosford as your agent. I have had a terrible experience. They've charged expensive repair costs without evidence of the repair ever being made. They are very negligent when it comes to resolving problems brought forward by the tenants. They communicate very poorly with owners until things get out of hand and they allow tenants to move into the property before contracts are formally signed!

Re Raine and Horne: No you are not sorry. After all, you clearly know the evil things that you have done. You are only 'sorry' because I wrote a bad-but-truthful review about you. I wouldn't be surprised that majority of the 5 star ratings here are paid or imbursed. After all, there are only 1 star ratings or 5 star ratings in this review section. Isn't this suspicious!

Kelly McLeish has been my rental property manager for the past 2 years and she is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She's dealt with all my queries quickly and professionally and I absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a person to help with rental management. Thanks for everything Kelly.

Very happy with this realestate , we have had our investment property for 2 years now and have gone through 2 agents now unfortunately hat did not look after the property or give us any information about damage to the property or repairs that our property needed, also allowed our tenants to leave and not clean the property and take the deposit which made it very hard, since being with rain and Horne we have had great communication and there is someone always available when we contact them, we were able to fix the damage and get tenants in pretty much straight away, both thank you to Charlie and Katie for all their help, regards Peter and Rachel crossan .
