We arrived to find our booking date was wrong but it was all sorted at the counter, the staff was excellent, friendly & polite! We still got the picnic area we booked for, and my two birthday kids both had so much fun along with our guests! the entertainment at the center stage was amazing and fun! our experience overall on the day was 10+! The staff
was very helpful, our booked picnic area was perfect for the day and most importantly our children had a blast and will always remember! THANK YOU RAINBOWS END!

This place is getting better and better rides wise. Just need more water stations around, and more visible. I only just managed to find one tucked away in a corner.

Was alright,limited number of rides and a few of there main attractions closed, 1st place I have been to that has a timetable for rides as understaffed. Opened late and pushed you in through the gift shop where there was 5 people and only 1 person doing entry. Not a bad place if you have young kids

Some kid took a fat dump in the middle of the log flume and it got shut down

It was OK.. Too windy so the good rides were closed. Won't be going back in a hurry.

Good entertainment for the rich people but very expensive for lower income families and need to change their family passes to a higher amount of people because the family pass is about 2 adults 3 or 4 children. Not good if you have 2 adults and 5 or 6 children.

Very busy place, waiting in lines for upto an hour just for one ride. But worth it

It's a good theme park, although limited variety of rides for those that have outgrown the Kidzone and very little shelter to take cover from the weather especially towards the rollercoaster end. The Kidzone area for the smaller children is great with plenty of variety to keep them happy, and it's all covered from the elements.

Best outdoor attraction in NZ. Always good service. Night rides are really busy so try midweek times

I love this place! Very fair price for a full day out with bumper cars, go karts and rides. Definitely not just for kids.. we had one teenager and 2 adults and stayed until closing time. The low adrenalin rides were awesome and entertaining without feeling sick! The high adrenalin rides are really good. Staff are great, and very attentive to safety which is reassuring.

tried calling 5 times over two weeks trying to get tickets, no one answers the phone, the message just says call during working hours

Apparently 'coronavirus' meant we couldn't bring in our own packeted food. What a scam!!

Kids and grownups both can enjoy. Great atmosphere.. fun all day long..

Nice facilities, the staff is very friendly, but it is smaller than I thought it would be.

Used to be kids's favorite place.. but maybe they have out grown? Also, place seem to be overcrowded...

At the begnning I was told someone came earlier and used my ticket. After a long wait it turned to be their fault for someone presenting with no tickets and having a similar name (Did not even receive an apology). This was frustrsting but then went in and it was not busy at all during the week and had lots of fun.

Worth the price! Went there from 10:30am till 4pm, managed to ride all the rides except for the kidz kingdom of course (they say we re too old to ride). Gotta ride all of them to make your time and money worth it.

Never a dull moment for the family... except closing time.

It was pretty good, quite pricey for what it is, felt like it wasn't great for 3 and 4 year olds. Good for older children maybe teenagers.

Rainbows end hasnt changed much. Good thing is you never have to wait in ridiculous lines.

Had great time, but haunted house was too slow a waiting time and young lady taking you through might have been american not sure had bit of a attitude shame because would have been 5star if not for that and hot day no shade waiting 1hour to get through haunted house was not worth wait at all

Very poor orgainsation of a birthday party. Right from the birthday organiser and on the actual day was very disapointing. On the birthday i had all the necessary forms filled out with me and it still took the staff around half an hour to give me and my guests passes. Then i had to relay all the chidrens meals to them again. We had an hour and a half in the function room we then set up the room and ended up waiting a half hour for our lunch so I had to go searching for the birthday planner to see where our lunch was . We then got told that we had to move out of the room to another area to cut our cake, and have desert because there was another party due to come in after us. While we were trying to finish off our meals we actually had staff and guests hovering outside our room waiting to get in. The only reason I gave a 1star as a rating is because of the rides, lovely and polite staff members who tried to quickly clean up the cake area and who helped me carry all the food to the cake area. I will definitely not be recommending them to anyone. Very very disapointing.

Great family fun, though can also be pricey as a large family like ours! Very friendly staff, helpful, informative and queues werent too bad considering the extra work involved for an establishment like this to safely run under current covid alert levels.

Its no disneyland but its the best thing we have in New Zealand. The log flume needs a complete overhaul though.

First time at a "theme park" and I enjoyed it! Would go again for sure. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there's not that many rides to go on

Awesome fun for the whole family big or small! Some of my favourites were the go carts and the mine cart but it's so hard to just pick two they were all go much fub

All the rides are well maintained and functionally safe etc but the scenery and exhibits around the rides are a little dated and weary showing signs of needing a major overhaul and investment to bring the park up to an international standard. Staff are all good, polite and helpful, food stalls and eating places marginal. Good parking outside and easy entry - a great amusement park for all ages but in need of some serious cosmetic investment and upgrade work - I visited with young teens on the Friday before Xmas who raced around getting as many rides in as possible and had a great time - however apart from a couple of xmas trees at the castle entrance and some minor decs up in the young children's section there didn't seem to be any festive season life in the park at all during the day there - a drab day overall offset by the fun the kids had on the rides threy went on.

In my opinion I think rainbows end is ok. Car park is always full however they do have an extra car park that makes things a bit easier to swallow. The entry fee is ridiculous $18 for a spectator? What exactly are you paying for? I'm not sure on the full entry fee it must be over $50 which I think is ridiculous. Some staff are friendly and approachable but most of them don't smile, unpleasant and unapproachable especially for front line / tourism operators, however if they only getting paid minimum wage I can see the problem. The rides in the kids kingdom are awesome for kids, entertainment level high, and very clean.

My Kids love it... kids kingdom is not enough for 6 yrs old. Better take full pass for them :)

Bit expensive. Very long waiting line for weekend. Doesn't fully open on week days. Hardly can play everything. Too cold to play in winter time, especially for kids play center. Food is just ok. Suggest to get multiple pass for local.

Great fun for the family. Make sure you visit websites that issue deals as it is not cheap.ans food is quite pricey

Weekday visit was ok. Park operating on a time table which was a bit frustrating when you still paid full price. Except despite the time table some rides were not operating at all times that were specified. Power Surge was one we waited for the afternoon to go on once the kids with us had finished with their rides. But was not operating at the specified time. Waited extra 10mintues but still not going. Again not fair when you have paid full price.

The city of excellent games where the death train and the grill This is the best entertainment small but excellent There are restaurants and ice cream room dedicated to prayer

Had such a fun time, so much to do. I honestly loved the bumber cars. The roller coaster was so awesome and the food was really great at the cafe, I would definitely recommend going there.

Large space. Fun play. Friendly staff service. Safe play facilities.

Great for people on the rides but most of them can't be seen by spectators. No where for viewing. Couldn't find disabled bathrooms.

We like to compact size, good variety of rides - 9 year old went on all but 2 rides. Not too busy, fun had by all
