The people that work here was quite nice I've worked here for quite a while before I was let go but if you love to talk this would be a great place for you to work

It's a good place to work but it's location is difficult. Subway is 2 long blocks up hill to the express station or wait for the city bus to a local station
I love working here. The training was well put together and very detailed. They re very lenient. Some of the managers abuse their authority (there s always a few at companies who do that)... but the amount of nice, fun managers there help to balance out the negative managers. The worst part about this job is the travel. Once you get off the train it s like a 15 minute walk that s so annoying lol that s about it
Management were beautiful people. I worked as floor support in 2015 and enjoyed working with team leaders and CSRs. Training reps was my favorite part of the job and I've met many nice people here.
KingTel is mostly a temp position workplace with limited resources. So, yes, not everyone can be pleased and the travel distance is a bit much for those walking, but at least this company provides a stepping stone for those who may need it and the walking can help to lose weight! :-)
If it were not of other choices I would love working with them again. If you need something temporary, keep to yourself, and have a nice character then ignore the negative reviews and try them out.
Honestly fine with the job. It pays minimum wage but you just spend the shift answering calls. The staff has been nice and friendly with me and like many have said: the major con is the commute. Its way out there in brooklyn that you have to walk a bit or wait for a b11 bus that comes very infrequently.
Recommend this job if you just need any job at the moment and don't mind the commute or sitting all day.
Cons: A lot of favoritism, the commute is far, location is deserted, pay is low & you get written up for the smallest things.
No pros sorry
Great work place too start off and true growth opportunity
They have refused to pay me for a four hour training session. I have no choice except to report them to The New York State Labor Board. I was directed to them by Mr. Maurice Kennedy at Workforcce 1, which is located at 9 Bond Street, Brooklyn, NY, and he has refused to acknowledge my emails.
Hang up calls all the time at all hours. When I call back no answer. BBB is getting a call.
Some good people working here. Experienced Workers & Managers are actually very pleasant and even tempered. I give respect to those who remain. The work is heavy but very engaging.
The place could use some upgrading but other than that, much respect to this organization.
Received automated (robo) hangup calls from this company.
I applied for a call center job, and I can guarantee that this institution will surpass every single job you ve ever had or will have in the worst way possible.
Commute is terrible, overall general setting is disgustingly dirty, isolated, and morbid. People that you meet there don t seem to be from New York City, so it s almost a different world.
Please try to refrain from ever visiting this company, at any cost whether you re a customer or employee.
Boring place to work, if you like sitting on your duff all day, this is the job for you.
I worked there for at least 4 years, there was a lot of stress that came from this Job and sometimes you are treated like you are less then period point blank. I was happy to take the many skills that I've learned from them and present them in such a creative way. I really feel like King Teleservices has shown me how to present Myself as a Customer Service employee and Floor Support Agent. I also enjoyed most of my coworkers, there were some that I disliked but it was a lot of joyful experiences there as well. If I was to encourage someone regarding working with King Teleservices, I would say learn and soak up all the knowledge while you have the opportunity to work there and take notes as well. My old Boss Takeema Crosby, Is the Account Manager and She was good to me, plus She taught me a lot about being independent, confident and strong! She actually started off as a 311 agent so She was a Beast on the phone and ran the calling center with a fun, easy, leadership swag! Please understand the polices are stricter then your regular call center environment however without King Teleservices I wouldn't be as multi talented and focused as I am today. GOD bless
So far its been good. People from all nationality. Looking forward to Learning even more.
I did the training 2 months ago & still haven t received my funds for it
Went for interview and couldn't find the right building
I hated working here. You're micro managed by very annoying staff most of the time how they steal hours from the workers , a lot of the members of management are highly attitudinal and lack professionalism.. the staff is even worse
I feel like the only type of people willing to work here would be people fresh out of jail. Just walking to the place of work looks, smells and feels like a jail yard. Micro managed by annoying and uneducated "staff", this place is a real dump.
