The beds are very comfortable, but it is not a practical room. There is no table next to the bed so you can leave things and therefore you have to leave it on the floor and the bathroom is very large, but with a sink to wash your hands very small and, no matter what you want to avoid, All water falls on the ground.

Visited Drumbar at the Rafaello hotel. Very cool whiskey bar with very different drinks. Nice outdoor area, but it rained that night, so didn't really get to experience it. Servers are super helpful & friendly!

The Raffaello hotel is perfect for visiting Chicago, guests will reach all the main attractions, if you like walking course. There are many restaurants nearby. Our room was fabulous really spacious with the possibility of making you a coffee every morning, the only thing the bathroom was a little small compared to the rest of the room, the bed was very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Surely if I am fortunate enough to return to Chicago I will choose the Raffaello Hotel.

The room I was in had a living room area and a second bedroom/bath area separated by double doors. The amenities were nice, except one light was burnt out and another flickered when on. Otherwise no complaints.

I found this hotel to be an absolute steal. From the staff to the location and the value for your money. We were close to everything in a quiet hotel. The rooms was spacious and we had a suite with separate bedroom and living area. Walking distance to all the parts we wanted, could not have been happier with it.

Conveniently located in downtown Chicago. This hotel has very comfortable rooms and good housekeeping services. Near popular tourist spots like the 360 an MCA. Street plantings in this area are magnificent.

The service was slow but the room was actually very nice. Extremely frustrated by the deposit required for the room. Am I crazy, or does me paying several hundred dollars per night to stay in your hotel not cover your costs? Probably not going back

Comfortable rooms, nice staff, good location and decent prices (at least the price we got). The bathrooms are weird and kinda uncomfortable but doable, the heating was OUT OF CONTROL and it was super hot at all times of the day (in February). The place definitely needs a little update, looks stale and tired.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I gave one star for the valet, he was the only person there that seemed like they cared. He's also the only one that got a tip. I'm guessing the perception that they had of us caused them to treat us as such. I know how customer service is suppose to be at a 4 star hotel because I work at one.

Clean rooms, friendly staff and very comfy beds. Perfectly located for Michigan Ave. Rooms slightly dated and could do with being modernised but other than that, very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Great room for the price. Pity that they only have 2 elevators for the whole hotel (+rooftop bar) and that the cleaning staff tends to knock at 8AM. Location is very handy to reach downtown or the lakeshore.

Very bad experience. First hotel with no room services. I called so the room can get be cleaned but they said we don t cleaned the room till you leave. Another thing the bathroom sliding door for the bath is broken the light is not working. One of the windows doesn t open while the second one is broken and very risky for children because it s missing the outer part

Good downtown location but there is NO sevice. The hotel does not provide even a bottle of water (even if you are ok with paying), we went a store at 10 in the night to get drinking water!

This hotel is very old. The rooms have probably not been updated except for new wallpaper and new tiles n sink in bathroom. The wallpaper is coming off the walls and the ceiling has water damage bubbles on it. The carpet is all stained and gross, you will need to ask for hotel slippers. However: staff is so very courteous and attentive. Always smiling and ready to assist you with any questions you might have during your stay. Free wifi, coffee and the location is perfect. Forgot to mention huge rooms with good view and nice tv. And a rooftop bar open Thursday Friday & Saturday. Cool atmosphere and staff. I would come back.

Old hotel - being turned into apartments. Room was freezing. Bar only opens a couple of nights a week. No breakfast available. Bathroom freezing. Great location - hotel over priced for the age - clearly charging for location

Almost whenever I need a hotel in Chicago I choose Raffaello Hotel. The room prices are good for the area it's in and the location is amazing. Location: This hotel is right by the John Hancock Tower, which is home to Chicago's 360 observatory deck, Starbucks, North Face, the Cheesecake Factory, and many more. Also in a walking distance there are so many shops, restaurants, and stores. Like the Disney Store, Walgreen's, etc. Basically, When I get a room at Raffaello Hotel, I just leave my car at the parking garage and walk the beautiful downtown. Hotel: The Hotel is nice. The staff are professional and friendly. The check-in and check-out process is fast and easy. It has a nice coffee shop, and a big restaurant. (Both were closed due to COVID-19, but I tried them in previous visits). However, the hotel doesn't have a guest laundry room, only dry cleaning. This is ok, but if you're traveling with kids, this gets expensive. Unfortunately, the closest coin laundry location is about 20-25 minutes away by car. Room: The rooms are amongst the best hotel rooms I've been to. They are spacious, clean, and has big windows. This time they had a Roku TV in the room, which is nice if you don't want to watch regular channels that are full of commercials. They had Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and many more. The bed was comfortable, and wasn't as high as beds usually are in hotels, so that was nice. But there's a big space between the bed and the headstand that the pillows kept falling through. Restroom: The restroom is great. The shower is high and is from the top, so the water comes from above you and not at an angle as it usually is. However, the toilet seat is very very close to the wall, I had to set somewhat sideways to be able to "take care of business." Summary: I really love Raffaello Hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting the Chicago Downtown area!

Great staff! Always friendly and ready to help. The hotel is overpriced. The bar is overpriced and the room is below my expectations. The carpet was dirty and full of stains. The bathroom didn't look clean and needs to be upgraded. The location of the hotel is great!

Just finished a 5 night stay at this hotel. I would have checked out after the first night but all the hotels in downtown Chicago were sold out so I was stuck. This hotel needs massive amounts of repair work. When I checked into our room, I noticed the carpet was stained, took me a few minutes but realized there was a massive leak from the floor above and the ceiling and walls looked like there were going to fall in. I asked to be moved but they did not have any other rooms available. The said the leak was fixed and the room was safe. I did talk with other people in the hotel over the week and most everyone said the hotel needed repairs badly.

Great hotel in downtown right next to Hancock and Michigan + a lot of great shopping including Barneys / bloomingdales within walking distance. The suites are well maintained. Only issue was the air cooling wasn t up to par and they mentioned fixing it; as it will become an issue during the summer. Prices are better compared to the other chains nearby who charge a fortune.

After flying for several hours we got in the hotel and the receptionist told us that the hotel was overbooked and we did not have a room to stay. Even though we paid in advance they didn t respect the reservation. Really bad ! DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL

I do not like their valet parking guy he is a d*** ,should be fired. Out of all hotels I have stayed at even the lower stars hotel has better customer services then this one. I will not be booking any stays here anymore. Had to walk in the rain from their so called self parking to run into a valet guy that is grumpy for some reason and take his anger on you for asking where to park after paying 38$ extra to park a car at the hotel I am staying at-_- dont make any sense at all to me. There are also lots of bed bugs here.

Visited the Drum Bar for a party. I've been there before and it's a great space. Unfortunately this time around it was incredibly crowded. Difficult to reach to move around and reach the bar.

The service is very good as is the cleaning. The beds and pillows I liked a lot. Excellent location, WiFi works well and heating works. Detail not very good: lack of space in the bathroom. In general, excellent experience.

I would not rate this a 4 star hotel. I m very disappointed in the price I paid for the quality. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Nearly $500 waste of money! Small, crammed, old. Ohhhhhh and we didn t have hot water for showers due the city working on the pipes, there was mildew in the shower, and stains on the furniture. I d attach pics if I knew how. When I complained they said would you like a refund, I said that would be awesome, he replied with that isn t going to happen. We checked out a day early because it was so terrible!
