Radisson SAS Scandinavia Hotel Review

Good breakfast. Is a bit out of town. But it is easy to reach by public transport

Visit the bar at the top. Great view of Oslo. Good selection of beer.

We had dinner at Den Glade Gris. It was a wonderful culinary experience with great Staff.

At night when the city looks from up there, beautiful.

Nice view from the bar. Some of the bartenders were a bit nasty.

Really warm check in experience. Comfy room. Big breakfast variety. Really cool sky bar with amazing view.

Not on weekends, party-people book a room and make loud music and voices. To sleep was impossible. Not really clean rooms.

A magnificent and magnificent hotel in the middle of the Norwegian capital. Nestled in one of the highest towers in the city. Although the room was spacious and elevated, it was not adequately conditioned. The solution was found quickly. But similar events should not happen in a hotel of this category. On the other hand, the room did not have natural ventilation, which caused excessive heat in the cabin and could not be regulated automatically.

The center is also within 15 minutes walking distance to the beach. Rooms are cozy and convenient. Cookies are served with water and apple. Breakfast is great. There is a sauna and fitness. There are two small seats in the pool.

Good location, nice staff. Had a business room which was quite small. Nice views. Minus for the terribly expensive parking garage.

The room was small. Some dust. Breakfast was very good. Especially that one can order from the menu at no extra charge (as long as you have breakfast included in the room). Pool was a plus. There was also the fitness room.

The breakfast was amazing, loved the view from our room and the hotel itself was located within easy walking distance of most places we wanted to check out (the palace, the sculpture park, easy walk to buses to the museums & Opera house). The sauna was great and the airport transfer service was very useful too! There's a great restaurant below the hotel around the corner with great beer and food, highly recommend checking it out!

The only positive is that the hotel is centrally located.
The lifts are working poorly and a lift even stops and the door does not open!
The electronic room keys do not always work, so at the front desk replacement must be fetched and the towels were missing and had to be fetched. The cleanliness could be improved. The beds are very narrow and soft. It still has massive potential for improvement!
The hotel is not recommended.

Decent value for money, rooms aren't great and internet is shaky. Breakfast is very good though.

There are other hotels located like this one, on the same price category, offering more for the money. The Radisson plaza is a good example. The Plaza offers newer rooms, with proper tools like iron table, good internet and possibility to cast Netflix and other to the screen. And many times you can find rooms for the same price or even cheaper.
It's not a bad hotel, but is not on my too 5 hotels in Oslo

Hotel without charm we had booked a superior room in high floor with panoramic view without saying anything we were assigned a room without view it was necessary to go to complain and claim to just have a room that corresponds to our desires and the price paid. Bathroom with hair on the floor in the shower. First and last time here. Positive point the bar on the top floor is very nice

The hotel is generally decent and convenient, but this review concerns the abysmal service in the restaurant on 18-01-2020. We were served by several waiters who lost orders, brought orders to the table irregularly (i.e., three of us had food while the others waited 10-15 mins for theirs), and it took more than an hour to get our meals. This was pretty rich considering that the first waiter insisted that we needed to order quickly (at 10pm) since they were closing at 11. When we paid for our meals separately the staff couldn't keep track of what had been paid for -- at one point several of my colleagues were accused of walking off without paying! What is this -- bad training? simple incompetence? When one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing, I blame the manager. To top it all off, the food was nothing special.

A very pleasant hotel with lovely staff and excellent rooms. It has a very cool chic decor in the communal areas and also the rooms. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre. The gym was closed during my visit but they offered us access to the gym over the road. My only gripe was with the restaurant. Although it had a great menu and was a really nice space (plus the staff were excellent), the food could have definitely been executed better. For example the fries weren t even cooked properly. So I would recommend this hotel, but maybe eat out for food until they remedy the kitchen!

Spent 4 nights in this hotel, very nice and clean, the lunch is generous and the team is helpful.

Maybe the Nordic allergy. It gave me but it was slight.

Very clean, excellent breakfast buffet. Our room had an excellent view over the Oslo cityscape, over to the water where you could watch the cruise ships and smaller boats.

OK room. The food not all the world. But location pulls up.

It was very nice hotel with nice rooms. Even the sofa bed was good to lie in. The buffet breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. many different juices, nuts, toppings, breads and anything else. the location was top notch, with the center and the castle. it was great service and the front desk had free snop, biscuits and apples. there was also a pool which we didn't have time to try. it was a great experience.

The hotel was due a refurb & the air conditioning system throughout our stay was faulty - due to the architectural design of the building you couldn t ventilate your m room via opening windows either.

The cocktails at the bar are great! The view is just breathtaking on Oslo!

It's ok. Pretty dated. Fairly noisy. Not worth the price tag in my opinion.
