Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel Review

Excellent location, helpful staff, even earning airline mileage among Star Alliance Airlines

The Oslo Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is conveniently located just 3 minutes from Oslo Central Station.

The hotel is a high-rise building that you can see as soon as you exit the exit next to COOP Mart from the ticket gate of Oslo Station. It is above average in most factors such as location and facilities. Breakfast can also be served at the restaurant on the second floor, which seems monotonous, but a full European-style breakfast is served.

Compared to similar cost-level hotels in other European countries, both room and toilet space are significantly larger. A mini-bar, hair dryer, work desk, TV, and electric kettle are standard.

Very nice hotel room! Some crumbs on a table when we arrived. Pulled down the total.
Disappointing breakfast to be such a hotel. No salads ex. Lack of filling of spoons and service in the buffet. Asked the butler, he saw I had to look for a waiter. Still nothing happened after I finally found a cold egg.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Let us store bags all day which allowed us to enjoy Oslo before our train ride that evening.

Nice service, decent view. The room I got was a bit old but I believe they are refurbishing all of the rooms this year. Front desk is very helpful

Very convenient as it is 2mins away from Oslo Central Station. Room was moderately sized and all the staff were very friendly.

The two reasons why I don't give 5 stars to this hotel are:
1) The check-in queue can get really big, although the staff their best to speed up the process
2) The upstairs bar and restaurant is facing the wrong side of Oslo
Aside from that very comfy bed, great rooms and good breakfast. Toilets not so good.
Being in a walking distance from the train station is this hotel biggest plus.

For the price and the location. I dont think I will stay anywhere else next time I'm in Oslo

The room was really nice and equipped with all needed.
The location of the hotel is very convenient to get to the down town and just beside the central station. Very convenient to walk around.
We had very nice time on the roof bar. Spectacular view on Oslo. I recommend you to try Australian wine. It was great.

All right room, large and lovely bed. Great with bathtub. Breakfast in the room was brilliant when there are many people eating at the same time. The view from the 32nd floor was completely raw.

Maybe it's okay to have several people at the reception when there are many people checking out at the same time and not just 2 at work;)

Central hotel with bar which has nice views at the top.

It's not a bad hotel or had everything that you could want, but it's the little things that you expect an star hotel to pick up on.
The heating / aircon in the room was set to permanently drafty, there was no hair dryer in the room, no mini bar Price list & no do not disturb sign, no complimentary bottles of water.
However they did allow a late check out of 2 hours which is pretty cool.
One last note, the hotel is near a rough part of town, we did not feel 100% safe in the evenings.

4 star hotel like any other. Pool is not accessible to wheelchair users because it has to be accessed by stairs.

Nice hotel in a great location in Oslo Central. Very busy. The second tallest building in the city there are some fantastic views.

Surprisingly nice hotel, the gym and sauna on the top floor with great city views are my favorite.

Need refurbishment, and they are now in the process. The rooms should be fully refurbished in the summer of 17.

Love the room, you have everything you need there! Cheap for one night. But it was expensive on snacks and cost 80 kr for a quick lunch. We are going to spend the night here tomorrow we will get up at 4 in the night to catch a plane at 6 in the morning so it is good it is right there :) Love the selection of food when you get in there! My first time here

Meh. 80s yuppie style has not withstood the test of time. Room too cold in the day and too hot at night, no matter what we did with the air conditioner.
