Radisson SAS Daugava Hotel Review

Nice hotel with beautiful interiors and beautiful views from the rooms

Good position near downtown Riga and a very comfortable climate.

Rooms clean, bedding good, toilet weight, hot water, good pressure, breakfast abundant. Beautiful view of the river, bridges and old town. I recommend.

As other reviewers have put it, the rooms are indeed quite dated, as is the rest of the building, which doesn't help in getting a 4-star feeling/experience. The reservation department screwed up my reservation, making me pay for the 1st night, even though all nights had been paid for already. Fortunately this was sorted the next morning and I got a refund for that night. Staff was indeed friendly, so kudos to them. One really negative thing I remember was the water coming out of the taps and shower, which was brown some times (maybe the pipes are really old).

Good place with awesome wiev of Old town. After the reconstruction service is perfect, corresponding to hight level of Radisson hotel line.

The view of the river is beautiful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Really liked it. Swimming pool is included in the price. Access to the center by foot on the river

Everything was super, buffet 17 euro, chaja left 5 euro, it seemed too little, because unrealistic service

Nice place in perfect location! Very good and deliciuos food. Restourant have a good view from The windows. I recomend this place for everyone who wants to stay near Riga centre.

I had a company Christmas party here. Conference room was all good except the toilets and I must say stuff was helpful and on time at all times but when it came to food it was disaster. Chicken was dry and like a chewing gum veggies was steamed and without a soul and those who took the fish weren't much happier. At least the snacks were alright. And at the end there were so much uneaten food left at the table only thing I can say is shame

A nice little old fashioned hotel that probably named us the old wing.
Comfortable beds and spacious rooms.
Breakfast is varied and rich.
A small pool, a sauna, and a really impressive gym.
Excellent location right next to the old town.

4 star hotel a little 'dated and then walk around there is nothing; you have to cross the bridge over the dauga a (about 500 meters but very busy) to get to the historical part. Beautiful view from the terrace.

I was expecting better.
After being straight 34 hours awake, really exhausted when arriving to the hotel. I thought that the rooms were ready, but no. After being said that it'll take a moment to clean them, we wait 2 hours just to get in. The room had nice views, but the room was outdated on the inside. First thing to expolore about the room was that our sink didn't work. My towel had some red ink-like marks.
Also the rooms weren't much sound proof, as you can hear people speak in the nextdoors or on the aisle. The air condition is nice addition, even though it took a good time to cool the room a little. One power point broke my friend's charger.
The serving is well managed and foods are delicious.

Hotel is very nice. Would have 5 stars but it's on the other side of the bridge.

Everything was OK and clean, big rooms. Would have to be renovated only in principle times

Like the bar where she has a happy party, the red bar back wall is what makes people want to let go.

Breakfast has a hidden plate of French toast! You can share it with one guest first, but hide it again, the waiter is still smiling to complete the sweetness they welcome.

Come to Riga, you must live here, I think it will make you worth the money!

Class vom hotel with reasonable prices, very friendly and helpful staff

Everything is fine, but could not turn on the shower.

I have stayed on many Radissons before and I must say that this one was with lowest quality.

The hotel is old and desperately needs renovation to be a high class 4 star hotel. The Aircon is really noisy, meaning you can't leave it on overnight.

Though that's not all. Our room had food leftovers from previous quests in drawer, bed linen had coffee stains.

The room had tea/coffee facilities, but there were no spoons or anything else in room to use them.

The pool facilities are shared with MyFitness, the pool is often blocked for trainings. We were not warned for it. Kids wanted to go for a swim straight after check-in. Walked them down in swimming clothes only to learn that we should return in an hour. You can imagine the disappointment of the tiny quests.

The staff at the breakfast were all wearing masks, which is a good thing this year, but about half of them didn't have their noses covered, which makes the mask pretty pointless.

On the good side. View is great, room was spacious, beds of high quality and location is just superb.

Good hote of this chain. It is a bridge away from downtown.
There is a huge paid parking lot ext to the hotel.

Perfect place to stay in Riga! Great view, good breakfast, comfortable room and bed.

The rooms are incredibly dated. It does not really give me a BLU experience, but the manager said they would do a big remodel next year. Even though the staff is nice, I feel like I get a lot more for my money in one of the other rezidor apartments or rooms on the town side of the bridge.

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. Our room was huge, the staff was helpful and spoke fluent English. Only downside was the location, had to cross the river every time if I wanted to go to the city center.

Good hotel, not very modern, but very close to the center. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

5 stars for the price. Next to water. Short 10 minute walk across bridge with spectacular views of waterway and you are in the tourist trap section of Riga. Gym is huge! Every machine you cam imagine. Didn't try Wi-Fi since my cell gives free unlimited hotspot. Breakfast was buffet style and nice selection but 15 Euros was pricey.
Rooms were small and old but in good shape. Bathroom had a heater to dry towels. Kept bathroom warm. Dont know how to turn it off.

Good spacious room. We were upgraded with Club Carlson membership. Easy checkin and checkout. Property is getting old. Can be upgraded. Breakfast was good.

Arrived late in the afternoon. Was offered an upgrade to a larger Business room overlooking the river and old city. Good value at 20 euro per day. The room itself was a little dated but well furnished and spacious. Door seals need to be added or replaced in all the rooms around mine as slightest breeze in the hallway causes the doors to rattle it's very annoying. Staff are courteous. The problem with this hotel is it's location. It is on the wrong side of the river and there is nothing around it. Therefore a taxi or public transport or long walk is required every time you want to leave the hotel.

Good hotel, comfortable, some rooms could use a good renovation.
You can have the chance to have the view of the Daugava and the old town.
Hearty breakfast.
Ample free parking.

A bit dated but decent rooms and great view of old town

Was a good hotel. Service was excellent. Only reason for only 4 stars was foe the room itself. It was in disrepair. There were holes in the wall, water damage was apparent, the A/C only cooled the upstairs part of the room, half the windows around the bedrooms werent covered or covered properly, there were no dishes/utencils/pots or pans even though it had a full kitchen but was provided after asking for them. Thry let me keep my bicycle in the luggage room over night throughout my stay so i didnt have to worry if it was going to be stolen over night. Is a bit of a walk or drive to anything too.
