Restaurant - food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Really nice music in the evening. Seemed to be dance lessons as well.

Worst place I've stayed on my final leg of my Hone...

Worst place I've stayed on my final leg of my Honeymoon. And ghess what, someone from the resort is going to respond to this post and make it seemed liked nothing was that bad. This is our first day here. My wife and I we're checked in ridiculously late because our room wasn't ready, granted we got here early from Moorea. Nevertheless, at least try amd make the guest feel more welcomed. Check and see if we wanted something to drink be more inactive with us. Dont remind is that our room isnt ready. My wife and I, waited for 4 hours and no one even came to ask us or see how we were doing, muchless I'm trying to make a call on my cell phone and I can't. Finally, we get to our room and I'm told to go outside of my room onto the balcony and face the ocean, I'll get reception. Guess what? It still doesn't work. Trying to find my room since we've got here is like trying to find where's Waldo. As a New Yorker, we expected a certain level of service, none of which I've seen yet. New York, it's a tourist haven, so I think I would have an idea as to what a decent level of service should look like, none of which I've experience thus far. A word of advise to any traveler, book elsewhere...I.cant wait to.get back to NY and get outta here. Like I said final leg of our honeymoon, what a disappointment. SMH...

Superb establishment, too big for my taste but the rooms are large, clean and quiet. The prices of the restaurant are correct for Tahiti and especially the quality is present which is not always the case in Polynesia. A small regret, although the staff is generally very welcoming, we quickly understand that we arrived in town, especially when we meet the maintenance staff. No more spontaneous iorana and smiles to your teeth.

Hotel well placed with a beautiful view, the sea of black sand and a large pool but disappointed by the benefits for a spring (outdated room, aging equipment). The restaurant is also quite disappointing as well for breakfast in the morning, as for the evening ... Very mixed stay, there is much better on the island.

Beautiful resort with a great manmade beach on the pier. Wonderful service. Excellent for a one or two night stay before heading to another stunning island. Tahiti is more built up than its neighbours but the market, street food at Vai'ete Square and resorts away from Pape'ete are worth a visit.

Excellent time, usually reserved despite everything for lovers, I can say that I spent 21 wonderful days with my family. The suite we were in was perfect, large bed, large TV, a bathroom with Italian shower and bath, not to mention the large terrace overlooking the bay where you can see the dolphin ball at 6am. I also took the lunch which is at will, nothing is missing. The dinner is very well presented and really very good. The reception of the staff is magical as only Polynesians know how to do, friendliness, permanent presence, kindness, excellent stay. The only downside is the shop that lies and offers excursions to be banned but it would not be part of the hotel? just a small response to the comment below, I am outraged to read you, sir, the staff are not at all as you describe them, we have never neither we nor anyone else had any issues with the staff, they do not There was no aggression or animosity on their part.
we were room 1506 from August 29 to September 21, 2019.

It is a hotel that we stayed for one time because of airplane time. I was very impressed by the front man who greeted me comfortably even after arriving late at the sightseeing of the main island.

The staff are pretty helpful and always smiling. The hotel experience from amenities is ok. There is a pool and a beach and that's it. I didn't see any water activities offered and I know they don't offer jet skiing because I asked for it. The room was ok. I had booked the most expensive option and informed them that I'll be ok my honeymoon. I got a room with a bit tree blocking some of the view (see picture). I didn't get an freebies although they said they would offer those given that we were Honeymooners. On a positive note they did offer us to shower since we arrived early and leave out luggage in storage. That was very awesome after a long trip from the East Coast of the US. I'd recommend this place as a stop between the US and to get to wherever you're going next. I would caution against staying there just for the resort experience.

The beachside restaurant is open air, it feels good and the food is reasonable and reasonable. You can watch the Tahitian show for free every Thursday at the restaurant side, but it was an hour-long show that is not free.

Deluxe room with jaccuzi sea view!

Deluxe room with jaccuzi sea view!

1 star just for the tempting title
- luxury room = no larger than a basic hotel at 100 per night
- jaccuzi = mini balneo bathtub .. nothing like a jaccuzi.
Do not hope to make the most of it together .. shut up between 4 walls ... unless you are a contortionist.
- reception and arrangement. The poorest that I have known ... for a 4 * ... I have known 2 * who go out of their way to satisfy customers.
Reception .... nothing ... I pay .. I have my room and basta ... and I do the porter in addition.

I ask if it is possible to have a late departure the next day.
I am refused because the hotel is supposedly full ...
But when I look on the site ... I can book my room for 1 week ..

The price !!!!! Totally inconsistent with the services and reception.

For the outside: the swimming pool .... if you want to bathe quietly ... or you rest with the sound of the waves ...

To forget ... it is only a dream.

It is the aqua bike session that takes priority ...

You will have techno and the Tour de France

In addition ... the swimming pool is dirty ... the small pool next to it is dirty too .. fewer tiles

For the sea view ..... I have a huge tree in front of my balcony.

And the interior equipment makes me laugh softly ...
The air conditioning ... the shower ... the experimental products ...

It is a shame for the asking price.
I hope that my comment will help other people not to succumb to a tantalizing title

My husband an I stayed there for 3 days on our way to Moorea.. The view is so incredibly beautiful, along with the black sand beach and nice swimming pool .. The staff was very friendly and eager to help with whatever we needed. We had a 5 th floor room in bldg #2 .. amazing view from there as well.. It s a bit out of the main town but well worth the taxi cab ride .. at a cost of 45 dollars from Airport ... The only bad thing I would have to say is the cost of their drinks at 16 to 17 dollars each , I don t see how they justify the costs ... the restaurant food was very good but also very pricey about 30 dollars a plate .. and your to far to walk to go elsewhere for food ....a basic local beer will run you about 8 dollars ... Next time I will take my own bottle and stop and gets snacks to nibble on .

When we arrived a couple hours early to see the suite we reserved they said we can't see it because they're being cleaned but they said we could check in then come back at 2pm. So we checked in and suddenly out of nowhere she picks up 2 room keys directly under the counter without ever leaving and assigns us the room and says it's okay to go see it. The room was big but old and needed updating, the elevator to the room stopped working so we couldn't bring our bags up 4 floors of stairs which are outside and not air conditioned. The so called WiFi is run by first generation Linksys routers scattered in the open around the area that couldn't send the signal in the room so each guest is required to go out on the balcony to get a signal. Wired speeds tested at .56 Mbps down and .06 up in our room so doing anything quick was out of the question. They offer a paid WiFi that is supposed to be much improved so I purchased the $40 plan for 10 hours of use. It was worse than the free WiFi, it dropped every 5 seconds, literally and it doesn't improve the wired connection according to the reception desk, only WiFi. We tried to required a cancellation and go to another resort but once you check in you are required to pay for the entire stay, even if you leave, no refunds on unused time! STAY AWAY, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE! Also, at night there were lots clicking sounds that came from some unknown source that lasted about 2 seconds then would come back in a random people of time which made it impossible to locate and get a good night sleep.

A little away from the airport, great! The tour to the Hotel allows a panorama of the city and usually the transfer is made by a driver who speaks at least 6 languages, Spanish among them, and sympathetically becomes a tour guide.
The Hotel ... a paradise, spacious, clean, tasteful and comfortable accommodation. The gardens are immaculate and the panorama is heavenly (especially if you arrive at night with a full moon).
Very efficient reception. Common areas very well decorated. The staff very well prepared.
And finally, breakfast is a breakfast, get ready to put on weight!
When we were there it was the Hotel Hadisson, even if the administration is changed, the place does not go wrong, so I recommend it without fear!

Nice place, if you do not look for the little beast. The whole is harmonious and delicate. The flat will be for me in the rooms. The TVs are obsolete and damaged. The wifi did not work. For people who travel a lot, they have experienced hotels in this price range offering much better benefits. Apart from that, on the scale of Tahiti, it is a nice place with a beautiful view, a beautiful swimming pool and responsive reception staff. I had a good time.

We were on our South Sea trip twice in the hotel Pearl Beach Resort. We were very satisfied, the staff attentive and friendly. Food fantastic and price okay. Only the breakfast is not worth the price.
Unfortunately too far away from the city you need a shuttle, but it runs 2x daily and is free. Round and the hotel is nothing going on and except the beach is not much. Okay for a few days, but then it gets boring.

Here's the deal. Tahiti is a gateway to the rest of the islands. If you for whatever reason cannot afford to leave Tahiti, this place works. Personally, The Pearl Beach Resort was a hotel in a cove with a nice pool. The rooms were clean and despite the restaurant trying to charge us for Tropicana orange juice dispensed from a machine from reception all else was fine. Otherwise, FYI we paid a full day of cancellation to leave early.

Would not stay here again. We had a premium suite booked for three people, but it was worn down, dark and overpriced. Breakfast (not included) was good but again, too expensive. There is a shuttle to town, but only twice a day so you will have to take a taxi which - guess what - costs a fortune. Staff was in general friendly but not at all helpful when adressed with an issue. The beach is beautiful though and the view from the room was lovely.

We stayed at the Tahiti Pearl Beach for our honeymoon, the jaccuzi deluxe room is top, good bedding. The breakfast is very good, the cocktails at the bar too. Location of the hotel interesting on a black sand beach with free shuttles to go on Papeete, we highly recommend the Pearl Beach

Very nice hotel with a view of the black sand beach and Moorea. The bedroom is large with a terrace. The bed is super soft ... breakfast is well stocked and varied.
Take a cocktail in the infinity pool with the view of the ocean, very relaxing ... on the restaurant side the menu is varied and the dishes are worked. I ate very well.

The Pearl Beach Hotel is located on a black sand bay some 30 minutes drive from Tahiti Airport. The room that I had, had an ocean view.

As my room faced the Pacific Ocean, the sound of the roaring waves could still be heard even when the balcony windows were closed.

Wifi was slow.

The restaurant was very nice but a little expensive

Very good hotel, located a few minutes from Papeete.
The service is very caring and very friendly. The rooms are quiet and overlook the ocean (you can hear the sound of waves when you wake up!).
The hotel overlooks a small, very calm cove where you can swim.
Ideal to recover from the long trip and start the vacation in paradise!

One thing about the Haitian chef at the resort in the kitchen - He ain't got a clue how to prepare a meal .. Tasteless actually all the food is very disappointing. And !!! As far as the Rooms go ... the accommodation .. the Shower is Blocked & the Maintenance Manager is no plumber . Useless . While showering the water does not drain and so it starts to spill over all over the bathroom floor into the bedroom . All in all --- will never stay at this resort again & will not recommend this resort . 1/ 10 . NO . .. whatsoever . Management have a lot to learn .

The facilities of the hotel are overall dilapidated. There is a feeling of cleanliness in the room, but making it inconvenient. The window should always be closed as insects enter.
The sandy beach is a black sand beach. The waves are dangerous to swim very high. The sound of the waves may make you sleepy.
The food is recommended Poisson Cru. Tahiti draft beer is good at 500 cfp and reasonable.
I also recommend a powerful night dance show.

It seemed really dark here. I'm not sure if there weren't a lot of lights at night or the layout was weird but lighting was kinda sketch. Also it was difficult finding your way to your room from the main desk. You have to go down 1 floor go around the building then go back into the building and back up to where you need to be. Staff English was so-so and that caused a few mix ups, especially over the breakfast table. There are 3 options for breakfast, the continental which is a hot drink a cold drink and some bread (seriously), the buffet which is vast with tons of options and about 2,000 xpf per person and a la carte which is probably the better option.

Rooms are good, bed was really springy. Only 1 power outlet that was 110volt and fit a USA plug.

The bar soap smelled really good.

My husband and I stayed in a nice ocean view suite for one night on our way back to Tahiti. Our room was very clean and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by friendly, smiling employees and the man working the front desk was awesome. The restaurant attached to resort was beautiful and right on the ocean. There was a Tahitian dance the night that we stayed; that was so much fun to watch! Such a beautiful and well-kept up hotel. Would definitely recommend.
