Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel Review

Very disappointed. They don't respect the reservation with the explanation that they are overbooked. After waiting 3 hours for a room in tje looby I decided to quit and going to other hotel

I really felt welcomed by staff. Their services were really good. I enjoyed the various dishes served and will recommend to everyone.

It's okay. Nothing hectically awesome about it, but safe to sleep in alone.

The conference hall was great and the food was even better

It's the closest hotel to the metro and pretty nice and clean 4/5 marks

Temporary breakfast venue was fabulous on the top floor, Windows opened which was lovely, convenient location in Sandton

Great ambience, very nice pool deck attentive and helpful staff. The restaurants are beautifully finished and give a professional yet relaxed atmosphere within which to eat and meet. Easy underground parking off West Street and easy to reach Sandton

Just wanted to find out if day visitors are allowed and can we bring hookah to smoke there?

This is an appreciation post to the entire staff of Radisson Blu Gautrain for being absolutely amazing and making our stay at the hotel pure bliss. This is definitely a hotel that will give you value for money. Keep up the great work Radisson Blu Gautrain and thank you for everything.

Parking confusing and can lose you. The food is ok.

Food was OK. Yet I felt crawly things on the carpets and got bitten 3 times

Lovely bathrooms inside the rooms guess you pay for that and the location. Lovely restaurant they have.

Not a great conference experience and the catering is not good at all

Central place to stay. Close to the mall and the sandton hub. Great gym.

Did a salsa class here, the view is amazing. Had dinner and it was fabulous. Secure parking and very beautiful hotel setup. Highly recommend the salsa class. It's only R80

Location was convenient. Rooms and amenities were good. Breakfast was great and restaurant & front desk staff were helpful and nice. Stayed at a business class room over a weekend but the business lounge was not open during the weekend which was a minor downside

I've attended a few conferences here and all were really great. Well organised from a visual and media point of view and also from a catering point of view.

The staff are also very friendly and accommodating...
2 good experiences:
1. Water spilled from the jug on the table onto my wife's clothes and she was drenched. It was my fault :-( luckily I didn't die :-)
They allowed us to use the gym bathroom to dry up and freshen up.

2. On another occasion, we needed to dial into a work teleconference during a workshop here.
We were allowed to use the business centre.

All in all a great hotel.
Compliments to the management and staff for the great service, flexibility and consideration for their guests.

Recently visited the Radissonblu Gautrain Hotel for breakfast with the kids, what an amazing experience. The friendly staff made us feel at home and the breakfast was amazing. Superb views of Sandton and beyond. Extra precautions were in place for the virus, nothing to worry about.

Not a cool hotel to dropped off clients if you doing a transfer as there is no where to stop and park and wait for your clients. You have to drive around the block. No proper parking facility like other hotels.

Love the location. So convenient and they have a shuttle that take you anywhere within 5km from the hotel. Great place. They can just improve their room service menu.. it's not as good as the menu at the bar

Very good restaurant with unique underground parking architecture

I love the chilled vibe during the week and the vibe on Friday is on another level. It is amazing, they have a DJ and sometimes a live band and they just amazing.

As it is a hotel I think this is one of the best things a tourist would love as they get to have fun. Love it

Poor, poor quality service in an otherwise modern and trendy hotel.

The hotel is about 5mins walk to Sandton City. It's very accessible. The restaurant has lovely ambience, though I found the menu limited in variety. The staff are polite and helpful.

Great hotel very accessible to the Gautrain and to nelson Mandela square. I would highly recommend staying here on business visits and fro tourist visiting the area.

Attended a conference at this hotel. Lifts are confusing and inconvenient..expected better. Def does not feel 4star

Comfortable and safe hotel opposite the station in Sandton. Good breakfast. Showers could be a bit warmer sometimes.

The Radisson blue has a great ambience and friendly staff, a refreshing events calendar and the coffee is decent. Great to do business and entertain clients aswell kickback on the weekend.

Great accommodation, pity the service on the deck and bar restaurant is becoming terrible lately. One waiter on duty is not enough. One waits for ages to get served. Management, you should consider appointing more people per shift. Just my honest opinion as a regular client. Thanks

Bad, bad, BAD!!! service almost everyone was looking down on my colleagues while we were there for a conference... they don t take young working professionals seriously I suggest you think twice if you want to go here... the Restaurant lady who always wear a brown suit is such an embarrassment

Very nice and private establishment, would recommend it to business and private people, its never crawded. Would go here everyday. Great choice

The hotel is situated in a convenient place and is okay overall. I think it's perfect for business stays and short trips. Not to crazy about the bathroom. The drainage from the shower was slow so water just flows out onto the floor .

AWESOME I love the restaurant the food, drinks and the staff was professionall, excellent view and a clean swimming pool

This has to be the most nicest hotel that I have ever been to so if I ever had to recommend this to anyone I would. I really like the setup of the hotel and it is right across the gautrain station so I liked that their prices are reasonable so I definetly will go there again.

We were a group of ladies working for a corporate business. We are easy going ladies and not full of nonsense. Firtsly when we arrived at the restaurant we ordered 2 bottles of wine. The red wine was not in stock we haf to ordered new ones. When the waiter came with it. It was damaged. We had to choose another brand. That brand was also not in stock. Finally we got another brand. So we all ordered and waited 1 and half hour for food. When food finally came it was cold. The prawn pasta we ordered only had w shrimps in. For the pricy hotel. This is the worst hotel i have ever been in.

Did a gig here always friendly people and wonderful atmosphere
