Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel Review

There is something wrong with their water. Could not have a hot shower. Their water is lukewarm

Radisson blue hotel has the best of everything, friendly and helpful staff the best view and the best service I have ever received in a long time. I absolutely fell in love with this place and will recommend to my friends and family ... top class

Very nice rooms. Nespresso machine didn't work and only one nice bath towel. Buy it's very comfortable and a good breakfast in the mornings.

Friendly staff. Great service. Beds and rooms were clean i highly recommend it. Plus the views were great.

Superb venue for our event, staff and management team were all on site including the GM will visit them again.

Rooms are well appointed and clean. It is absolutely perfectly situated to get around JHB and a short walk to Mandela Square.

Convenient hotel just across the Sandton Gautrain Station. Modern decor and updated facilities. Staff was very helpful and lots of security to make you feel safe. It makes an excellent base to explore Johannesburg while convenient to the airport. A big shopping mall (Mandela Square) is a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Home away from home for the business traveler. Conveniently situated, lovely rooms, lovely bedding and lovely food and it has a gym.Situation is across the road from the Gautrain. Loved it and will definitely return.

Comfortable with friendly staff in a convenient location.

This hotel baffles me. I stay here often and have become used to variable service levels. I'm tired of it. They will ask for leeway in this review because they are under renovation. I will give leeway when they discount my rate by 25% to compensate. Disorganised breakfast service. Sub standard room service menu. Surly staff. Exhausted.

The most awful place was there for hours not one waiter came to assist us or offered us anything. The parking is outrageous expensive

The people who work for the Radisson are friendly, they went the extra mile from the moment you walk in and are greeted to when you leave and they help you organise your transport

Having stayed here 3 weeks straight now, I must say I'm very disappointed. The service is consistently bad, from some of the reception staff being very rude to slow room service. I can call four times and wait 2 hours for a simple request like hot water and lemon. The wifi is slow most of the time. The water in the shower is not hot and remains lukewarm after a maintenance visit and several complaints. The breakfast is basic, and I skip it most of the time. Apart from the very pleasant cleaning staff, the rest of the service staff need retraining. I think they slack because of their prime location. However, the next time I have a long-stay I will rather go further away for better service. Looking forward to my departure

Very good hotel, great location, rooms are very comfortable and a good size, reasonably priced and good food too. Has a nice bar and pool area too

Very disappointed with the service! We ordered food and waited over an hour. After complaining we were told the person who took our food order went home without a proper handover. When our food arrived it was cold and it had to be taken back to the kitchen to warm it. To add insult to injury, the parking machines did not accept notes or credit cards and we had to take a lift back to reception to pay! Very disappointed with Radisson Blu experience!

A business style hotel. Comfy room and bathroom.
I think the dishes are more local than continental.

Lovely Hotel with an amazing breakfast buffet spread! Service could do with a little work though - our waitress answered a personal phone call on her phone while serving us our coffees which wasn't the best.

Very poor service, discourteous staff and almost no food option for Vegetarians.

Strategic position for those who are in Johannesburg for work, 5 minutes walk from Mandela square, where it is possible to go to eat in the evening in several good quality restaurants. Clean, great breakfast, very accurate and kind service.

Perfect solution if you have come for meetings in Sandton and you are travelling. Super convenient
