Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel Review

It's a great location. Parking fees are ridiculous. But it's a lovely well run hotel

Comfortable rooms and close to Sandton centre. Family were staying at the other Radisson in Sandton which even though it's a little further out I would recommend over this due to facilities and nicer rooms.

Having such a wonderful experience at the hotel with a salsa festival. The staff are friendly and the service is incredible!

Recently I visited, found a good place to stay in Johansburg. Shopping and food is a attraction in Nelson Mendala mall.

Prime location for people working in the heart of Sandton. There is another down the road with a better gym. The hotel also has a small gym. The breakfast is basic buffet with nothing too fancy. One thing which surprised me is that they don t have a barista. The machine made coffee is aweful.

I had nice time and very near to Mandela square. Just 5 min walk to Mandela square and Sandton city mall

I recently visited the Radisson blu Gautrain Hotel. I went with a couple friends for the day and to say the least I was pleasantly surprised. I was a little hesitant due to the virus but they ve put in extremely safe and helpful protocols. There is hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE, The bathrooms are clean, The lifts have Stickers for social distancing as well as wet wipes for sanitation and the Atmosphere is welcoming. The food was great and I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going in this time. All in all a great experience

Top accommodation, top service & outstanding cuisine, the Staff are awesome, GM is ever present & very hands on, and the location is great. 10/10 guys, keep it up, credit where credit is due!!!

The only place I stay at when I'm in Sandton! Breakfast is always amazing!

I recently visited the Radisson blu for the day and I had a blast. It was a lunch with a couple of friends, the food was amazing, the staff was beyond friendly and the atmosphere of the hotel was more then welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and greatly recommend it.

The OMET Alumni workshop was properly set out and we were well accommodated by the hotel.

Attended Jhb Afro latin festival this weekend hosted at the Radisson - one word - AMAZING! Friendly and helpful staff. Was very impressed when a guest couldn't understand English well and staff went out of their way to download a translation app to communicate effectively and make the guest feel heard and comfortable.

Good location but weak service!

The area is in the mid of Sandton and just close to the Gautrain station, easy to get anywhere during daytime. However, be warned in the evening and nighttime - the area may not be safe.

About the service I did not feel satisfied: the drain in the shower was clogged and maintenance staff was not able to fix it within 5 days. Shuttle service is unreliable in the evening, one day they did not even respond. Bar closed on 10:30pm on Saturday, although it shold be open until 1:00am according to the guest information book.

Breakfast is good, but staff is not very attentive.

Next time I may try the other Radisson blu hotel at Santon, which is just 10 minutes away.

Nice hotel and staff. A bit disappointed that I upgraded to an executive room when there is no real advantage in my eyes. Expected drinks in the executive lounge and only coffee and juice available.

Great pool deck. Love having sundowners here. Restaurant is amazing.

Service at the deck shockingly bad. Very slow, ordered cheese board and was told they can't provide it. Asked for cocktails was told none served. Ordered food it took forever.... I won't rush back.

Spacious standard rooms. Very clean. Small refrigerator in room. Iron and ironing board provided. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well.

Went on Friday late afternoon.. Service was almost not existing even after I called the supervise.

The service isn't the best and the drink are over priced but it's a nice place to chill

The hotel is gorgeous, and the restuarant is also really nice. The SLOW lounge is also stunning.

Rooftop poll is very nice. Prices are different. The ATM fees are high! Food is good. Service is pretty on point.

quite place.... if you like sports, you can go to the gym in the hotel or jog outside nearby~ but don't go outside alone after 19:00pm

Oh my gosh what has happened to Radisson Blu Gautrain? First of all my room had a light that was not working and there are spills of wine on the bedding. then I go down at the bar area and sit for an hour without any service. This is highly disappointing! your standards never used to be like this.

I recently stayed at Radisson for 2 nights, 3 days with my partner. Excellent service, the room was clean, the breakfast was great. We enjoyed everything!! Keep it up

Hotel is clean and modern. Takes long to order drinks at the bar. Maybe they need an easier process. Not every server needs to make drinks and then leave the bar to deliver to tables. Also they could ask what drink you want instead of ignoring you until they want to serve you. Or when someone finally returns to the bar from service to delivery. Also some good will on measures for spirits, I noticed under measures where given. I heard the manager say if we under measure we will get more money eventually. Also put one less scoop of ice cream will also help profits as well as smaller glasses for cocktails...

A good meeting place. Comfortable, quiet and well appointed lounge and terrace. Staff are attentive without getting in your way. Food prices are crazy though. Eat before you go there!

Good stay. Excellent breakfast and the suite was well equipped.
