Cons-

Cons-
Hidden urban fees that you get charged at check out.
No exhausted fan in bathroom.
Once arrived was told we got "upgraded" to the type of room we already had down for our reservation.
Attempted to charge us for our "Free breakfast".
Parking was not included. $50/per 24 hour period.
Parking deck was a maze to get to from the inside of the hotel.

Pros-
The Bed was amazing.
The breakfast was delicious.
The location was centrally located for all our activities.
The shower was a rain shower. Very relaxing.

Didn't appreciate trying to be scammed by hidden fees and an "included" breakfast. We will not return.

This was my 2nd time staying here and the first time was great. Great bed, great room, great everything. I preface with to show that i have something to compare it to. This past stay was awful. We were in room 1509. It had to be the worst bed I ve ever slept on in my entire life and my wife said the same. The pillows were so low quality as well. The heat in the room was either boiling hot or had to be turned off. Didn t sleep much if at all. Spent money on a king premium room thinking I d be getting better quality but I got the opposite of my first stay (basic king room). I got this room for a Valentine s Day getaway and it was miserable outside of the food at the restaurant downstairs. Hard to want to come back here knowing that I have a 50/50 shot at getting a decent room.

When we arrived in the lobby of the hotel it was nice. We went up to our room ,went in it was very small for $300 dollars. Got into the room we first noticed that there were gum marks and cigarette marks on the rug we looked around the room we noticed that it was other people belongings left behind.On The floor by the lamp was crumbs everywhere I told the person at the front Desk she told me sometimes housekeepers don t clean the room. I said why would y all have people stay in these rooms and house keepers they don t clean up the rooms it was somebody else socks in mass left behind in which is nasty you supposed to make sure the room is clean before somebody else gets in there they want to charge you a $29.99 fee for a resort that is dirty and nasty my advice to you do not stay in this hotel if so make sure the room is clean. They just put us in a room the housekeepers did not clean.The good thing about this whole thing about this hotel the bar has good drinks make sure you look around the whole entire room when you go inside your room oh yeah the balcony was dirty to

I love this hotel. The lobby has a fireplace that stretches the length the the lobby and the split Level Restaurant calls your name as your pass it on the way to the elevators. A very Clean and modern look.
The room was so wonderful that I wish my apartment was modeled after it. You have a spacious bathroom with a shower that can hold two people comfortably. The Bedroom has a great view of the lake or the city.
Location is great. Close to the Theaters, an amazing grocery store for light provisions, Michigan is close, and Millennium Park is at your doorstep.
Perfect for a night out with the Wife in the City.

Beautiful hotel and room. However, be aware that the hotel will scam you for an additional "urban fee" of $25/night, which is supposed to cover such basic amenities as wifi, pool access, and other nonsense they use to justify the surprise fee (which they only disclose on their own website).

If you're going to fleece your guests, please have some class and fleece us with one all-inclusive price. Oh, and speaking of fleecing, at this price point it's unacceptable to see:

1. A very out-of-place 10-year-old, plastic contraption of an alarm clock with a port for one of the original iPhones;
2. An ancient television with a horrendous UI and remote in the age of Netflix and Vizio;
3. A super classless telephone that seems like it's been in the room since the early 80's;
4. No USB ports anywhere;
5. Really dirty windows; and
6. Mediocre and overpriced breakfast.

Edit: the hotel removed the fee once I brought it up. My hotel stay was purchased through the Chase points portal (which did not disclose the fee). Added a star back for the fee reversal.

Great hotel hiding in the corner of downtown. I was there for a 3 day seminar and I had a wonderful time. The little quick bite cafe had some descent food although I think their restaurant Filini's food is better.

having stayed here previously , I have always enjoyed this hotel including its stunning architecture and superb location. I am adding this review to commend management and counter a 1 star review from a dissatisfied customer who was kicked out of the hotel for a noise complaint. Having been the customer on the receiving side of inconsiderate hotel guests at a 5 star property and hotel management who took no action for 2 hours until finally at 330am broke up the party after repeated calls, I completely respect and will give repeated business to a management team that understands customer service. Thank you.

Great location for visiting downtown Chicago. Hotel is very nice but starting to show a few signs of age. I just wasn't as impressed with it as the last time I was here. Service was pretty decent and the staff is very pleasant.

I'm from Indiana and this will be my second time staying at this hotel within the last few months! Both times I got rooms with city view balconys and let me tell you the view is just amazing! Totally worth the price! Rooms could be clean a little better but overall nothing serious! Staff are always nice and helpful. And the outdoor area is so pretty and relaxing (pool, firepit, music etc..) wish it was open later than 6pm but that's okay! And I couldn't be happier they got a Starbucks inside!! With all that said I do enjoy staying at this hotel and I will be back! Thanks Radisson

We were charged $100 fee for a few balloons, streamers and confetti that the cleaning crew were required to clean up today after our birthday celebration! My card was actually charged at check in for any incidentals and then again today for the additional cleaning fee! We will not stay here again!!

Nice hotel. Clean rooms and engaged staff, from valet to front desk and restaurant staff. The hallway to the rooms is a little bit confusing. Worth the price. Just in the center of Chicago, beautiful city.

Great hotel. Nice location. Pretty quiet overall. Housekeeping services while there was lacking, didn't clean our room, but we're pretty good at keeping it clean. Still they could have vacuumed. Front desk staff very friendly.

Decent view of a sliver of the park, very nice bathroom, helpful staff, and a nice bar/restaurant.
Cons: the afternoon tea listed on the website turned out to require advance reservations; there was no ice machine on our floor; the sheets on the bed were too small, kept coming untucked (took two days to get resolved, but they comped us two breakfast vouchers as an apology, which was nice).

I went here for a staycation, I hadn t lovely stay. They gave me a complimentary upgrade because it was my birthday. The location was great and the views were even better. The customer service was top notch, check in was a breeze, everything was explained well. I will definitely be visiting again! My room was clean for the most part, they could stand to do a little more detail cleaning tho

Good experience. Friendly staff. Outside of the building could stand to be power-washed. Nice lobby with comfortable chairs, and easily accessible CVS. With the exception of the blue carpet (I think they were going for a water theme, but I personally didn t love it), the rest of the room was great and had a clean, spacious bathroom.

Check-in was easy and beds were very soft Mine had a balcony which was a nice surprise. It's also connected to tunnels which allow you to walk to area buildings underground when raining. Really enjoyed my stay and expect to use them again in the future.

Wow is the one word to start. We chose Radison blue for our 10th wedding anniversary and we had a pleasant stay. Welcomed in room with complementary kids color book and a small teddy bear. Very good ambience and a fantastic location to access Chicago river walk and millennium park as both are just 5 min walk from the hotel. They gave a complementary one day breakfast and it s too good to start the day they refilled fresh pastry each and every time got from the oven.

Love the hotel! It was nice clean and comfortable. My only problem was the fact that they didn t want you to goto the 2nd floor to use the micro wave. I feel like it s very ignorant for us to pay sooo much money for a room to not have access to a microwave 24/7!

Was only inside for a little bit. Looked nice inside although a bit confusing to navigate. The room I went to was nicely furnished but a tad small. Either way would be somewhere I could see myself spending the night if the price was right. Staff was friendly although was handing out wristbands to get on the elevator because Lollapalooza was going on.

Great rooms and excellent views. Bathrooms are tidy and spacious. Found hotel service lacking as calls to room service were not returned. Lobby staff were helpful. Fire Lake grill was average with limited menu options. Location of the hotel is prime and is of great value as every major landmark is within walking distance.

As soon you get to the hotel they start charging you new addition fees! Even for amenities, phones so you will almost double your charges, vending machines not working, tv not working. I was there for 2 nights room 903, 906, my kids would call my phone for few seconds ended paying over $100

The hotel is very clean and the rooms are pretty spacious. Room service was quick whenever we needed anything in the room like towels or toiletries. We were able to enjoy the outdoor pool and the pool bar and grill. The staff there was just absolutely amazing. Isaiah is a great bartender (thanks for the food recommendations!). Brandon and Dede were very attentive, and Chef Curtis and Lalo cooked some delicious food. The chicken BLT and Filet Mignon sliders were soooo good. Don't judge the salad in the cup at first sight. It tastes really really good!

Amazing hotel that does not break the bank. The hotel allowed us to check in early, and staff was pleasant, friendly and very accommodating. Most importantly for us, however, is how dog friendly they were. Not only does the hotel not charge extra for dogs, but the staff loves dogs and has treats available to welcome their furry guests. There is even a dog park behind the hotel, which is rare to find near a hotel in Chicago. Overall, great experience and I will be staying here in the future.

Go there. On third floor... Outside pool and hot tub plus inside Lane pool. Great Restaurant. Near everything in Chicago. Great balconies designed by a woman that makes the building look like sea waves is you drive by it due to the contrast between the waving balconies and the glass behind them

Absolutely beautiful hotel and very classy. As a Radisson hotel specialist myself I had high expectations for my own company and this place exceeded it. The hotel location is perfect if you're planning on exploring around town. Ejay (forgive me if I am incorrect on his name) greeted us and was very helpful. I noticed during the time I was there he treated everyone the same respect and friendliness. We were checked in quickly and even got a upgraded room. The room is beautiful, spacious, and just enough up scale for my liking. If your planning a future stay here please select this hotel (and request a wheelchair accessible room for more space ) You will not be disappointed!

Exhausted after driving over a 1k+ miles. The receptionist was extremely rude and uncooperative. She kept reminding me of the prices of every service available and emphasized that no room service for me. She listed every price with a smirk. She mentioned that parking for the guests was very far away. Dominique's attitude reeked of classicism and discrimination.

I booked a room at the Trump hotel where staff was slightly more professional.

The hotel appears to be amazing. But upon arrival we asked to be as high on the top floors we could get. The desk clerk snottingly replied everything above floor 15 are condos. We got like floor 11. The bathroom has sliding doors and does not have sound proof or privacy at all. Also, they never cleaned for the 3 days we stayed. Parking here is 66$ with NO in and out privileges because they want to deter vehicle traffic but that is beyond ridiculous. The view was just looking at another building. They harrassed my guest and I outside on the patio saying we were talking too loud that other douchebag guest complained. Overall for the price to hotel comparison, this hotel is not worth 200$ a night at all. I recommend you search elsewhere. Oh yeah.. beds suck! I turned every hour with aches.

The architecture of this hotel is amazing! It towers in the Chicago Downtown city skyscape just of Lake Michigan near the Prudential Building. It looks like a water or a movement of water in the sky. There is a bar and restaurant with large al fresco patio seating. The decor of the hotel is modernistic.
