The hotel was clean, and sparkling. Our stay was wonderful. I especially loved the black sparkly floor tiles and aqua colored carpet. I loved that we could bring our dogs too. The fridge was fully stocked with alcohol and snacks, juice and water.

The staff was so gracious and lovely. We were part of the support team for a gala and the staff helped us make the setup go as smoothly as possible. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible.

Up scale interior design and excellent location. You can find a good public parking spot next to the hotel. There is a good food market and dim sum restaurant next to the hotel. I loved staying the hotel

This team went above and beyond for my stay!! I had to cancel the first night due to an emergency and the manager Terrell was very accommodating. We were able to make it for the second night and I put in the comments high floor it's my fiances bday. They went above and beyond putting a happy bday plate in the room and giving us breakfast as a gift. I have never been treated so well at a hotel ever. They brought me a refrigerator and Brandy was accommodating in answering out questions. I have worked in hospitality for 10 years and if they treat their team members this way, they will definitely go above and beyond for you! For a true experience, pick Radisson Blu Chicago!

Friendly service at the desk. Great big lobby. Restaurant, coffee bar available. But, entering the room it seemed dated and dirty. The carpet had stains. The shower door was cracked. The bathroom door didn t slide closed, it stopped mid-way. There was a smell of weed in the air every so often. There was a plastic bag taped over the smoke detector that we had removed. The mattress is comfortable but the pillows are paper thin and half the size of a regular pillow. When asked to changed rooms we were told the hotel was sold-out. Location was great though. Walking distance to a lot of downtowns attractions.

Stayed here one evening and was impressed by the lower level art area. Comfortable bed and great views of the city from the balcony. Sheets had some stains and so did the aqua blue carpeting. Otherwise, the room was clean. The fitness center was a great amenity to use.

This hotel is amazing! There was a lot to do, the location is nice for walking around downtown and they have great service! Theres an indoor gym, basketball (half) court, pool tables, a sauna, steam room, a play room with games and a pool. Unbeatable place to stay!

Didn't have mini fridge as advertised, but they gave us one. Balcony view was not impressive. Shower didn't drain fast enough and overflowed everywhere, had to request more towels twice. Room is nice, but not the best.

Beautiful views and clean rooms. Outdoor pool area was very nice. Indoor pool was small, basically the size of 2 lap lanes, but there was a hot tub. Hotel is right next to a CVS which was convenient. Check in is usually 3pm but even on a busy weekend they were able to check us in a couple hours earlier. However the elevators were usually packed and had to wait often. Overall it was a good stay!

The front desk staff was super friendly. I actually lost my purse on the train on my way to the hotel. My husband and I were still able to check in and even got an upgraded room for our troubles!

The room couldn't have been better. It was an updated corner suite with a wrap around balcony! There was no carpeting so everything felt and looked super clean. The housekeeper even folded up all of our clothes and left a note for us while we were out.

The separate tub and shower in the bathroom were wonderful. It felt like a spa experience actually. We will definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying here. When we first looked at this hotel online we love the pictures and the food menu and everything they had offer. Once we checked in however it was another thing We upgraded our room which took 4 1/2 hours for us to wait in the lobby to get our room was not happy about that. Once we got up to the room the room it was nice but not exactly what we expected would be for how we were told it was going to be. There was a nice card and a bottle of wine for us saying thank you for the wait. Twice we went to order room service and every time we did the things that we wanted to order from they did not have in stock. The menu online because there was not one in the room was an old menu and apparently they didn t have any of that food ... would have been nice for them to tell us they change the menu but they never did it was very annoying. The main reason why we stayed at this hotel was because of the outdoor pool. There is no signs anywhere telling you where to go to get towels we had to ask the guests The main reason why we stayed at this hotel was because of the outdoor pool. There is no signs anywhere telling you where to go to get towels we had to ask the guests. I know this hotel is not a resort and we understood that I know this hotel is not a resort and we understood that. ... better communication would have been nice. We had to call for maintenance almost every day on something that was wrong in the room but overall we liked the hotel and would possibly go back Only for the pool.

Went there Saturday for 1 night. I had called on Thursday because we wanted to stay there mainly to use the pool and hot tub. I was told both were open. The pool was very cold and the hot tub was empty with no water on it. We were very disappointed! especially since this was the main reason we booked at this location!

My girlfriends and I love it here so much that we've decided once every month or so we would stay here!! We are all suburban girls and we love city getaways. The Radisson offers more than other hotels: a game room, basketball court, and pool and jacuzzi. On top of that, the staff are friendly and accommodating. If you're looking to stay somewhere nice and in the mix of downtown Chicago, stay here.

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night...

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding night as a little getaway. We were surprised (not in a good way) and disappointed that the only special thing the hotel offered us was 2 drink coupons- no room upgrades, no extras. The check in was fine, but again, nothing special at all like I've seen at other hotels. We were not even offered to pay extra for anything to make our stay better. I've stayed at hotels that made birthdays feel more exciting than our actual wedding night at the Radisson Blu Aqua. For that reason alone, I wish we would have chosen another hotel. The rooms were very mediocre. We paid a lot of extra money to upgrade to a king corner room with a balcony. The bathroom was pretty worn down and dingy. There were limited toiletries and no bathrobes, which I always look forward to at a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable, but the room had not been cleaned very well as there was someone else's sock under the bed. The view from the balcony was nice, but there were no chairs on it, so there was no point to having the balcony. We paid a lot of extra money to stand and look out a few times, which we would not have done if we knew we wouldn't be able to enjoy any time out there. If the service had been excellent, we easily could have overlooked the mediocre room and if the room had been incredible, we would have happily looked past mediocre service. However, we paid lot of extra money for a below average stay all around. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel and we were not satisfied with the place we chose for such a special occasion, especially since there are so many choices downtown.

The location is fine, but this was just not a good hotel I expected better. AC was not cold in the room I was hot! And I get cold very easily! Plus the didn t tell us there was a extra fee $30 a night for pool and gym access!

This hotel deserves more than five stars if not for it's prime location, great rooms, and gorgeous views, then simply for its service. My brief stay here was marred with a few mishaps and missteps, but it was the professionalism and hospitality shown by Ashley B that have truly made my stay exceptional. I have traveled the world and have never seen a hotel employee go above and beyond for their guests, but at Radison Blu I have seen just that. I will definitely come back, and hopefully have the pleasure of being helped by Ashley B again.

Everything from the staff to the room was perfect. The staff was never anything less than kind and helpful. Our room was so comfortable and beautiful. I would highly recommend this hotel and will stay here again when we visit Chicago again.

The rooms are very contemporary. They have an indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub. Pool is more of a fitness swim lane style. Rooms are smaller but featureful. The staff seemed a bit overwhelmed when we stayed but it was a holiday weekend.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and conveniently located by main attraction. The only downfall is it is right next door to a fire station. We heard sirens multiple times throughout the night.

Decided to come here around the holidays for some much needed R&R from a crazy year. Beautiful hotel, my views were not the best, but the hotel has great views of the city.Upon entry you see the safety measures that this hotel has implement for safety. My stay here was just one night and the restaurants were closing by the time I decided to dine.
Will definitely come back to enjoy the other amenities.

We stayed one night as a celebration of our engagement. When Nate at the front desk heard we had just gotten engaged fifteen minutes prior, he upgraded our room to a suite for free while the other woman at the front desk went and got us complimentary champagne! It was very thoughtful of them and made our amazing evening that much more awesome. :)

Everyone from bell hop to the restaurant servers were extremely rude. If you do not plan on showing up in a million dollar suit do not expect the top service you have paid for. Restaurant Servers threw receipts at me trying to get me leave early demanding cash payment because they wanted to FaceTime with their friends. Bell hop was confused when I pulled up and it wasn't until I tipped him that he treated me like a human being. Same goes for the front desk. I paid for a balcony city view, as soon as I got in the room I called the Swissotel to see if they had anything available. There was no view, everything was blocked by buildings. I was told the rude restaurant server "asked room service to slip a note under my door to apologize." A grown woman could not even own up to her own wrong doing. Please do yourself a favor and head over to ANY other hotel. Worst experience I've ever had to deal with. These workers judge a book by its cover, while working to serve their consumers. The two don't mix.

I've admired this building from a distance for years and after staying here I'm a bit disappointed to say that I wish I hadn't ever seen it up close.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, the staff are great, and the breakfast was excellent. That's all on the first floor. I stayed in a corner room on the seventh floor and the impressiveness of the lobby was not reflected upstairs.

My room was clean but an awkward shape, very long and narrow. There is essentially no storage for clothes in the room aside from a single drawer in the table that the TV sits on. The views are great, but marred by the filthy windows. I assume it's difficult to wash the windows with the oddly shaped balconies, but these were really unsightly and I'm generally not bothered by that kind of thing. The balconies themselves could really use a good scrub or power wash or something. I don't know what they're made of but they seem to collect dirt in a way that you just don't see from the ground.

As I said, the room was long and narrow. So long that it had two thermostats. I assume that only one worked because it was impossible to equalize the temperature and that left me with a cold bedroom and a boiling hot entry area.

All that said, the bed was comfortable and the food in the morning was so good that I forgot most of my issues. I'd stay here again for sure, but I do wish the room had lived up to my expectations.

On site parking, downtown, 49 per day. Reasonable lobby, great staff. Overall the room was clean, and the staff was geri accommodating, providing a complementary fridge for the room. A 30 minute walk from Shedd and Field, with views along the way. Room was not cramped, but did not have any room for eating or sitting. Balcony was a plus.

Chose this hotel for a surprise proposal for my girlfriend (She said YES!). The staff was very helpful which was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Stunning view from the Millennium Suite and great architecture, I definitely recommend this for a date or a special occasion.
