Awesome Hotel in the heart of Chicago. Good Bar and Restaurant. Parking under the building. Next to the dog park. Walk to any attraction.
This hotel definitely has more amenities than most. Basketball court, swimming pool w/hot tub, eucalyptus steam room next to a sauna room, etc. Even though it's a bit pricey for my liking, I believe you definitely get your money's worth
Bad experience. They started fixing ice machine outside our door very loudly at 630am.
Clean, and modern with great amenities... staff is sort friendly as well.... great stay
Wonderful hotel! Staff is friendly and very helpful.
Beautiful modern hotel, clean rooms and excellent staff, highly recommended!
Nice stay. Rooftop pool was well maintained. Bar was pretty decent. Clean and accommodating
Modern, clean, and all around good hotel. Restaurant wasn't great but highly recommend the rooms and balcony views.
What a wonderful 2 week stay I this central and elegant building. Life was complete with a great restaurant Filini at its bottom ( Order the best Brussell sprouts of your life) a great roomy well equipped gym and pool indoor and outdoor, running track, a gorgeous park below to walk the dog and The convenience of Mariano's. Effortless place to stay. Even rented a bike out front to cycle down Lakeshore Drive.
Great location for sight seeing and walking around the city. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is helpful without being pushy. They are there when you need them.
The restaurant has great food is rather high priced. Check out the daily food and drink specials between 5 & 7pm for a better deal!
Nice lobby, good cocktails, very expensive, but its that not a problem, good location and very modern, good feelings.
The hotel has a great atmosphere and lots of interesting activities nearby. They also have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in.
Clean spacious room, beautiful lobby, friendly welcoming staff. Very pricey yet in a decent location. Some waitresses in the bar could use some customer service training.
I stayed there this summer for a weekend getaway and was impressed by the modern decor throughout the hotel. There is even a short hallway outside of the conference center with various works of art. Around the outside are modern style wicker furniture for those waiting for their taxi/limo. There's a giant touchscreen display in the lobby that you can use to pull up flight info and supposedly print out your boarding pass. I didn't get a chance to try it as another guest was using it.
We stayed in the King corner balcony room and loved the view. You can see some of the fireworks at Navy Pier from the balcony. The king bed was comfortable. The towels were plush. The bathroom with the huge walk-in shower was gorgeous and spacious. Although I didn't need it, the Nespresso and capsules which I use at home were available in the room. The rooms included robes and slippers which was a nice touch to make the getaway feel special.
The kind staff brought a special surprise for us which really made us feel like high rollers (which we are far from).
The only issue we had was when we lost electricity at one point to most of the room. I called to guest services and it was resolved right away. The maintenance person even came to the door checking if the power returned and looked/sounded genuinely apologetic (we weren't remotely upset).
Even the folks manning the outside front entrance were quick to assist guests arriving and leaving. There was no one standing around watching whenever guests arrived or left. You can tell the staff are well trained.
It should be noted that this building also houses condo owners on the upper levels but they have separate elevators. This is likely why there are so many amenities available.
Yes, this hotel is on the upper scale and not for those looking for a bargain but it was worth every penny. I would stay there again and I highly recommend it.
Clean n really good
Friendly staff
Recommend
It was not very clean in the room, there were dirty spots on the floor, they do not have much space and they charge 20 dls per day, if you want to use a pool, gym and something else, and if that was not enough, it said breakfast included and It was only for 2 people and if I wanted to add my children it was 18 dls for each one, each person talks about how it was, and I did not like it and therefore I would not recommend it .....
Sorry. January 2 2018.
DISGUSTING the room was gross and they called the cops and they KICKED US OUT OF THE ROOM AT 6 AM WHILE WE WERE SLEEPING AND NEVER TOLD US A REASON???? PAID $300 for what??? Nothing
Never staying here again Rude staff.
Amazing view!! I stayed in the oven view room. I recommend it. It's definitely worth the stay. I will definitely stay here everytime that I come.
The drink selection was a bit anemic considering the location, but the service was fantastic.
Had a really nice and pleasant stay here. Location is great and makes it's easy to enjoy Chicago by foot or commute. Lobby, hallways and rooms are all clean and elegant, beds are comfy and view is pretty nice if you're staying a few floors up. Didn't try the food or other services, but all in all the stay was free of any headaches and issues whatsoever.
Good, solid hotel in good location could use a little bit of a refresh and a good scrubbing. Check in was efficient enough, lobby is nice and our room was fairly nice. I'd recommend staying there if you get a super saver deal.
We went to have a few drinks while watching MNF. My friend's wine was described by her as "cheap swill". My Jack and Coke was fine. We also were disappointed they wouldn't turn up sound on TV and insisted one stay on CNN.
Excellent infrastructure and service. Very well located.
Amazingly Awesome Views And Elegance... We are not big city folks by any means, but this is the Hot Spot folks! Where do I begin lol. These are views from our 18th floor balcony but it was COLD AND WINDY!!! 2 lane Olympic Pool,Hot tub, steamroom, sauna, game room, and a COMPLETE Gym. I mean like a planet fitness inside of a high rise. The treadmills face the city view from the 3rd floor. The restaurant was amazing, our dinner and breakfast was 5star... The all around price wasn't very expensive either..
Modern decor, natural light, conference rooms where spacious.
The location is beautiful, getting here was a bit confusing, the GPS took me to lower Waker drive.
The service is good.
An impressive looking and well located property. Nicely designed lobby and spacious rooms. Not the cheapest hotel in town, but the one I d return to on every occasion. Quality!
Beautiful, contemporary rooms with a wonderful view!
Honestly one of the most amazing hotels I ve ever stayed at. We were able to get early check in by this really nice lady and we had one of the top floors! This hotel had an outdoor pools, most hotels in Chicago don t have pools but this one did and it was great, they were even selling food and drinks! The best part was the location. Right downtown and walkable distance from the bean and there was a cvs next to the hotel as well so it was super convenient. The shower/bathroom was amazing as well. No actually the best part was the Check out! This concierge, seriously the best one (he worked Sunday 8/25 around 12:30pm please give this guy a raise) we were checking out but our train didn t leave till 4pm and he was asking about our stay and was very personal even when they were busy and the best part let us keep our bags there as we killed time walking around Chicago until our train. We were so thankful and blessed. The staff is amazing the room was great the hotel was the best. It was my boyfriends first time in Chicago and this hotel enhanced our time. We re planning to come back soon and hopefully staying at this hotel again. Management you re doing everything right!
Great rooms. Awesome staff. I have Stayed here many times and always a great experience
Everyone was so good to us. Great rooms and balconies.
The best part was our concierge names Udo Mankiewicz. He is walking talking JOY. We really really liked him.
I enjoyed the business lounge but the hotel was crowded. Nice view.
Beautiful roof pool with plenty of lounge chairs and great views. The lobby and room was modern and very clean. The balcony for our room was large and had gorgeous views. Perfect for a 2 am chat with a drink or morning coffee.
Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious and service was attentive. Hotel was located within walking distance to stores, restaurants and small parks.
Only downside...everything was very expensive. Room, parking, breakfast, etc. Though, prices are to be expected for dt Chicago.
Great design of the building and interior and good service. The roof garden is out of this world
The rooms are pretty nice but the showers are odd. You have to get in to turn them in and you can't really "preheat" them that way. The fresh squeezed orange juice machine at breakfast is cool. The buffet wasn't bad but the eggs and bacon were undercooked in my opinion. Breakfast wasn't anything special. Nice staff. No problems.
Nice room. Friendly desk staff. Room service was so-so.
Had lunch. Service was great and the food was delicious.
Comfortable room that overlooks the pool and we had a balcony. We could see a little view of Lake Michigan.
Rooms are very nice. Restaurant, while food was good as well as service the atmosphere was not cozy.
Good location, nice hotel... Could use more seating for trade shows
This is a great hotel in the middle of everything! There's a nice sitting area downstairs off the lobby, a fun and modern bar/restaurant, and a nice outdoor pool with a running track around it! We stayed in a king bedroom with a balcony which was great. The floor in our room was pretty! The bed was comfortable, ample enough TV channels, a nice desk, a comfortable chair, and an ottoman. The bathroom was interesting, there were two sliding doors - one to enter the bathroom and one to enter either the shower or the toilet (it rolled back and forth between the two).
I highly recommend asking the concierge any questions you have about the area. They were so helpful! The front desk was also helpful in anything we needed for our room!
We were celebrating my birthday in Chicago, so my boyfriend called down to ask if they had a slice of cake with a candle for a birthday...they said they didn't have a slice of cake but had something similar. Within 5 minutes, they came up with this beautiful small dessert with a candle and a happy birthday message on the plate. It was delicious!
I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely look forward to another stay. Thanks for making my birthday fun, exciting, and comfortable!
Loveliest room ice ever stayed in. Felt like a princess. Staff brought me up an extra refrigerator with freezer at my request. Free bottled water. Gorgeous view on a corner balcony.
Attentive staff. Nice outdoor pool. Cool balconies. Looking forward to visit again when this coronavirus business is over!
Unfortunately our booked room was not available (overbooked) when we arrived, which resulted in the fact that we had to stay at the neighboring Hard Rock Hotel for one night. For the second night we got a free upgrade to a suite and lots of other bells and whistles, so the management made up for its mistake. The hotel itself is of a high standard and is recommended overall.
If you have a good view, if you have 5 rooms, but if the view is bad, there are 2 pools, but the water depth is so low that you can not swim.
Really nice hotel, room was nice and great view. Didn't get to try the restaurant it's not open on Monday and Tuesday, but, it looked really nice.
Ok hotel, nothing special. I was unable to plug in the iron without flipping the breaker and losing power in my room.
This is a very busy, very lively hotel! Having said that, our room was very quiet at night. The location is in a very central spot for shopping in Chicago, and there is a park right down the street from the hotel. Our room had a fantastic view of the city which was even more impressive at night with all the city lights. The pool is amazing and the staff couldn't be nicer.
Incredible structure to receive events. Very charming hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The room was very nice with a sleek modern feel to it. We had a great view and balcony. I loved the bathroom and shower setup with sliding privacy doors. We also liked how each part was designed and decorated. Our complimentary buffet was delicious too. But the true "highlight" of our night was witnessing Dr. Bombay perform! They were great!!! We'll definitely be back this summer. Cheers Radisson!! I'll recommend you to my clients in real estate as I continue to build my business!
My first stay at a Radisson Blu and will be my last. Nothing special, and if your lucky enough try for the corner room.
I had the new carrot botanist gin cocktail, it was delish!
I didn t stay, but did attend a multi day conference. The door greeters and staff were incredibly friendly and the service was phenomenal.
Very clean as well as comfortable. The restaurant has excellent service with amazing food, wait times are very short even on a weekday.
Attended a work event here and the staff and space were fantastic.
The rooms look like something from a motel 6. We paid for a premium room with a view & it s very disappointing. I would have expected better for the price. The blue carpets are extremely disgusting.
I've stayed at a lot of the hotels in this area, this one is the nicest. Good food, solid internet. Super nice rooms. Balcony! Love it.
The hotel and amenities are nice, but the elevator setup caused problems on multiple occasions. Additionally, the conference I attended was poorly scheduled and managed.
Great balcony view. Stepping outside on level 12 gets me shaking legs due to heights lol. But overall spacious room for the group of 4.
Unique, modern rooms overlooking Chicago's Millennium Park. Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. Large restaurant and bar on the first floor, was a bit pricey for what you get but almost everything is in the area. Would stay here again when in town on business.
Great location and rooms! The amenities are awesome.
Fun spot for a drink. Good cocktail menu. Lots of searing options.
Attended a work dinner and had a wonderful evening. Staff were all so nice and accommodating. The banquet hall was was lovely, and the mirrored ladies room was beautiful and fun!
Very nice and modern furnishings. Nice staff, friendly, helpful
Not anything like I expected. Cheaply made, snobby, and over priced.
First impression was that the hotel looked great. We go inside and ask where our room will be located and they said that everything from floor 15 or 16 and above are condos. This was unfortunate simply because we expected to be able to get a higher floor. Then we asked about parking. The price is $55 to park YOURSELF and no in and out privileges... we went to the room and once again over priced. The fridge was filled with items for purchase. There was a snickers bar for $4 and a bottle of water for $5.
The room had a sliding door for the bathroom and the shower. Both offer little to no privacy (in a two bed room). There was no fan in the bathroom. The floors were shiny black and reflective.
The A/C unit was motion activated which turns off in the middle of the night. It got extremely warm and so I woke up in the middle of the night twice.
The beds remind me of a regular hotel, nothing fancy. The TV was cheap and old. They disabled the HDMI so we were unable to use a chromecast...
Be ready to have the fire department wake you up at least twice a night. It seems the hotel doesn t want to advertise that the fire department is right next door. It is constantly dispatching trucks with their sirens running.
Lastly we were on the balcony listening to music on our phone when the hotel staff came banging on the door yelling at us. We were literally listening to music from a phone... they do not get loud it was ridiculous.
Overall I think it was a waste of paying extra money.
I've lived in this building and the hotel just reminds me how amazing this place is.
This hotel went above and beyond my expectations. It is 2 blocks away from millennium park. I could see the bean from my room. It has a 24 hour gym, basketball court, media room, and game room. This is definitely a great place to stay. There is also a CVS pharmacy on the corner in case you forgot anything.
