Just stayed at the Hilton, Aruba March 16th-23rd. Cute resort with quite a few flaws. Casino is trash and needs upgrade bad! The dealers really don't care to be there, nor do the waitress. Service was a joke!!! For example: Roulette board has been broken for 2 months. The chips where sticking together and took a screwdriver to get them apart. The people on the island are way more friendlier than people working at the resort. Food was below par for what it cost. The Sunset Grille was terrible. The pool waiters were never around. 8 servers behind bar, 2 for both pools. The local restaurants are descent but way over priced. The resort was very clean!!!

It started when I arrived. I never expected to see a room that was dated. For $600.00 per night I felt like I was in a cheap motel . The second issue the walls are thin and not insulated. I heard everyone's noise. All walls and floor and ceiling you could hear noise. Till 2 am. My room was changed because the place is spread out I got tired walking around and still the same. When I left I was charged $100.00 us dollar tax. So beware. I dont appreciate all the posts that are not telling the truth about the resort.
Tried the dinner for 2 special, wife had the fillet, with french fries and roasted potatoes with onions. I had the salmon with grilled veggies and sauteed spinach. Entrees were preceded with ceasar salad for the wife and tuna tartar for my appetizer. Both had lobster bisque for soup course. Desert was a large chocolate cake to split, excellent very dense and moist. All together an excellent meal with great service and live music.
This was our second visit to the Hilton Aruba a d once again we had a great time. Rooms are clean and renovated with comfortable beds. The staff is second to none and always helpful and smiling. The beach front at the Hilton is the best Aruba has to offer. The palapa reservations are free and can now be done online. We had a great view each day within minutes.
Best Hotel in The Island...Beatiful Island of Aruba I've been here with my family and guests since 1985 Now with Hilton Flag, They just came to be better. Best beach and Best Personnel. I'm not very confortable with drinks and snacks at The Beach. Casino, is very modern and have a nice personnel. Good Luck Try To Book at Aruba Tower, Worth The price Difference Any problem you can Call Rosita or Frank, They always There to Help you. I do recommend...strongly
Top notch hotel. Very clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The beach is amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. COVID19 protocols are firmly in place, and you can tellthey are following all policies.
The Hilton Aruba would be a really nice hotel in and of itself. A large and beautiful pool area and a great beach directly at the hotel are really good prerequisites for a nice and relaxing holiday.
Unfortunately not quite perfect ..
The hotel, especially our hotel room, looked quite old and the shower wasn't really unreasonable as it was so deep that a normal shower wasn't really possible. The view from the balcony was the large air conditioning and the associated noise. To be fair, it has to be said that we had booked a cheap room. Unfortunately, it wasn't really relaxing.
There were many places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel. However, everything is extremely Americanized. You either like it or you don't.
Perfect location and beach, most of the staff are friendly (front desk...not so much). They renamed the executive lounge to a "club" so no access for Diamonds unless you want to pay to be on the "club" floor. Rates for the club are hundreds higher but the market bears it so the choice is yours.
Attention to detail is lacking, but the new manager seems up to the task.
I'm 5'6". Can't extend arm over head when standing in tub without hitting the ceiling. As Lifetime HH Diamond members, we used to be able to dine in a private lounge that had an omelette station but now it is an open air restaurant and a continental setting . Disappointed. View out of our room is the rooftops. Another disappointment.
This is a clean and well kept property. The staff is friendly and will do everything to make sure you are taken care of. It's in the heart of everything happening and close to many restaurants and places to grab a drink.
I was not looking forward to our stay at the Hilton after my experience with the reservation customer service . However when we arrived to the hotel, the staff were awesome , excellent hospitality and customer service. They all very pleasant , accommodating and Professional especially Grace , Erica , Tosha , Vicky, toine and Elton. Everyone at the hotel are sincere, lovely and I would like to thank all of them.
Bartenders at the hotel bar are the best people in the world. So hard working and respectful and take pride in their work. Would recommend staying at the hotel at least a few nights and supporting them. Tip Well!!!!!!!
It is very bad l..a attention Hygiene I do not recommend it, there are no people that attend picina, they serve in cardboard Few bathrooms the lobby only has two people The room is cleaned badly Etc
I was here for a conference. The conference rooms are nice. The hotel itself looked quite nice, but I did not stay on site. It sits on beautiful Palm Beach in Aruba.
This is the second time we have stayed at a Hilton Hotel. We wouldn't stay at any other hotel. My husband had a health crisis from Ciguatera Fish Poisoning from eating Baracuda at an outside seafood restaurant in Noord. If it wasn't for the night manager. Rofino Ruiz, "Rufo". my husband might not be here today. Rufo called an ambulance, followed us to the hospital to make sure my husband was ok. Drove me back to the hotel, was compassionate and supportive seeing how frightened I was. Alone in a foreign country with my husband seriously ill, this kind man treated me like family. My husband and I are eternally grateful to him. If you happen to stay at the Hilton Aruba and run into Rufo please say Dale and Steve send their love.
The Hilton Aruba is in a great location, close to restaurants and on the beach. The rooms are clean, well kept pleasant to stay in with balconies for all guests. There are several ppol areas and 2 bars in addition to all the close by restaurants.
Great hotel. Will return. Website to book palapas on the beach. Staff is very friendly. I will be back and bring the rest of the family. Great view of the ocean. Great on beach food.
Me and my Wife had our Honeymoon here. The Hotel was amazing. We had a little problem with our room booking but the manager made it right. Hotel grounds a big U shaped pool and several kids pools to accommodate anyone. We reserved our Gazebo a day in advance and spent a whole evening at the beach until sunset. It was very relaxing and Beautiful. Casino was small compared to what I'm used to seeing but for anyone who thinks they're in luck, it'll get the job done. Breakfast here is and all you can eat style with abroad assortment of foods and dishes. Very Delecious. We were here for 8 days and I'll put it like this, my wife and I were considering selling everything and staying here forever. Aruba was an Amazing experience we'll definitely be back!
Not up to Hilton standards at all. Very poor customer service, quality of food very bad. The rooms were just okay. 1 star is given for location only. The hotel changed the flag to Hilton less than 2 years ago but they haven't trained their staff including GM and food quality to meet Hilton standards. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
Very nice hotel in Aruba. The ammenities are to numerous to add. Good restaurants and great pools all right on the beach. Check out the black swans. The pic is a view from our luxurious room
After a theft by the cleaning lady I was not happy of course. Police etc added, vacation day lost etc. But it got worse, now 6 months later I get a message that Hilton is not going to reimburse anything. Unimaginable !!!
We stayed at this hotel way back when it was the Radisson and we wanted to see how it had changed now that the Hilton took over. The rooms seemed refreshed - and the lobby was done over. They do charge for the huts closest to the water - to score a free one you need to grab it the day before at 4pm. Protip - use the website and do it while you sit at the beach. Overall it seems like a better hotel now.
just back and i am angry i had to pay for use of gilapia on beach except first nite. i never was made aware they were paid rentals. i never paid for seating on a beach hotel where i am a paying patron.i was really angry about this, i would have stayed at diff hotel where sitting on beach free. exc beach, some workers unfriendly..pools nice never go back
I am not sure why this property is afraid to contact me. I have emailed and spoken to eight people and all of them said management from this property will contact me, since November when my wife came down with salmonella which was confirmed by the Center for Infectious Disease. I can only guess that they don't care.
I travel a lot for work and have stayed in many hotels in the Caribbean and I must say Hilton Aruba was one of the best experiences I have ever had staying at a hotel in my life. The grounds are beautifully kept, The pools are fun, The rooms are comfortable and clean which is important, And most of all the Staff are extremely kind and helpful.
This is the hotel that I will stay at for all my future trips.
Hilton Aruba is a pretty amazing resort. I was a bit concerned it wouldn't have the same feel we've become used to from secluded resorts, but walking out the lobby and right into a very nicely planned atmosphere of plants/trees, sand, pool and finally the beach is exactly what you want to see when on vacation.
A few tips. Utilize the places outside the resort; the shops on each side as well as across the road. First, the little coffee shop out and to the right has reasonable breakfast/lunch stuff and is great. The pier to the left has a nice restaurant/bar with great prices right off the beach. There are also some shops. There is a bathroom, but they charge to use. The restaurants across the street were all very good. If you are concerned about being in this area after night, don't be. There are many people walking around doing the same things. We both wish we used all the others area more earlier in the trip rather than relying on the resort itself as it can get very $$$ quick for drinks and food.
The service was great. Everyone had a smile and willing to help in any way possible.
Be on the beach by 10 or you likely won't find a hut. Probably even way earlier during peak season. There are many huts, but many people put out towels even if they aren't using them. That's probably our only complaint for the week.
The wind. It is a windy island, apparently even more windy than usual for our week. Be prepared to hold onto that drink, especially when it gets close to being done or the wind will claim it.
We were upgraded to a partial ocean view suite and the room felt very modern. Lots of room to utilize including a large wardrobe closet and large bathroom. We were very happy with the room.
So far this is by far the best Hilton resort we have stayed. We both want to return in the future.
Everything was great about it. Just be warned that your diamond benefit only gets you two breakfasts per room and only the cold stuff. But there is plenty of cold stuff. The palapas are great and easy to book. We will go back.
Lovely resort in a beautiful island but make sure you don't break your bank because this is an expensive hotel. Dining and other services are way expensive being in the hub of Palm Beach tourist area . I would say anywhere you go within this area is that prices are way way inflated. It's like you're in Manhattan or Tokyo. But again Aruba is beautiful and worth a visit if you have the money but if you're in a tight budget, this Caribbean gem is not for you
we have stayed at the Radisson Aruba 3 times and are booked to stay there again in Dec. for 8 days. We stayed there 7 years ago on our honeymoon, with 4 other couples that we grew up with, we are both 75. Th staff, the rooms, and the grounds are all 1st class, we wouldn't think of staying at another resort. The only complaint that I have is how u reserve the palapas, u have to get in line at about 2pm to get a good one reservations don't start until 3
Added a tariff at the end of the stay that absolutely no one warned us about, it was over $200. The bathroom is badly outdated. Everything else had the feel of a really nice Best Western, at best. Casino was so small. The $12 drinks were watered down.
Very attentive staff, good good and relaxation. Cany wait to go back, the Bugaloo was a great time, the staff sing and dance. If you are looking for a fun night out, this is the place to go.
What an amazing place!!! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The resort is cleaned and the food amazing. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here.
Great resort, you won't get feel authentic Caribbean but if you're looking to get away from it all and relax and unwind this is the place. Friendly staff, clean, and a wonderful experience.
Great location, beautiful Palm Beach, lots of shopping and restaurants only 30 feet away, great night life, good pools, breakfast hostess and service horrible even with 15% tip a must.
Everyone was so very nice, friendly and helpful. Christian was great and helped make sure our luggage made it up to the room and onto the bus when we departed. Ronoldo at the bar and Omar on the beach have PHENOMENAL customer service skills and are overall just kind people. They definitely made our stay more enjoyable. We enjoyed getting to know them over our stay! The garden view room we originally had on the first floor in tower 3 was kind of dirty and certainly not what we were expecting. The front desk politely and quickly found a room for us in the first tower. That room was more what we were looking for with a view of the ocean.
This place was incredibly good. The service was nice and the view from the resort to the beach was breathtaking. The food was also great. It is a place to visit again.
