Racine Honda Review

To the folks at Racine Honda and its existing and future customers. Over a month ago, my wife and I were looking for a used Honda Accord and found what we were looking for online at a dealership that we never knew existed. I reached out to the dealership sales staff and was put in touch with Jayden. He provided great feedback and more importantly was prompt in answering any questions and returning emails and phone calls. To this day he still continues his superior customer satisfaction by checking in with us and reassures us to reach out with any questions about the 2019 Accord that we purchased. This was the first used vehicle we have ever purchased and are beyond satisfied with our buying experience. Despite living over an hour away we will have our car serviced at Racine Honda following this great experience.
Thanks Jayden, we wish you continued success and keep up the above and beyond customer service that you provide. We strongly recommend you and Racine Honda. The buying experience was a pleasure and thanks for all you ve done and continue to do for us.

We experienced what I consider bait and switch here...

We contacted them a second time after already having viewed the Honda Pilot Touring. The second time we were looking for the upgrade to the Elite. The salesman was very nice, and called to inform us that the Elite had sold but he could show us the Touring again and explained what upgrades we would get with the Elite. We asked them to see what they could do price wise for us with the understanding that the price would be less in the end (cash-wise) because of the $8,000 trade in value of our 2 cars. We were given a price and we thought it was a great deal (and it included an extended 7 year warranty). We were ready to put down a deposit and sign on the dotted line and moments prior to doing so were informed that no, the price we were told actually already included our cars being traded in. The price was just the dollar amount we owed in addition to them taking our trade ins. So there was actually no "deal" they were giving us at all. I could have maybe played this off as being a misunderstanding, but then the following happened as well... (Not to mention they didn't apologize for misunderstanding or communicate they were giving us the price in a way different than what we asked for).

Next, we were told (also moments before wanting to sign the deal) that the price we were given was for just the Touring, not the Elite. I'm not sure how this happened considering we had talked to the manager and the salesman and both confirmed and knew right up until giving us a price that we were talking about the Elite and wanted that. They seemed (I'm assuming) to think the price we were given at Honda in Gurnee (which we fully disclosed to them as we had been in contact with this location initially) was for the Touring when it was actually for the Elite. I could again play this off as a misunderstanding but it just seems to be too many "misunderstandings" at this point and it felt very dishonest and bait and switch last minute, right before we were wanting to sign the deal.

This experience was jarring enough that we were pretty upset and shaken for the rest of the day.

If you want a nice and knowledgeable salesman, go here. The manager, however, was who we worked with for price and the actual car we wanted... Just make sure if you do go here to get everything in writing and don't sign until you know every last detail.

Jose and Nate were very knowledgeable on the vehicles we were interested in. My girlfriend and I bought a 2019 Honda Civic and were very confident with our purchase. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a new car for a great price!

I was greeted and treated with respect from our salesman Brian from the moment I walked onto the lot. I am 24 so that says a lot to me. I was a first time buyer and of course I wanted the moon but these guys helped me determine what was the best car for me as a first time buyer. I drove away with a Honda Accord and I'm happy as I can be. The Finance guy, Amos is so friendly and knowledgeable. He got me bought. I will be keeping my business at Racine Honda.

I worked with Jesse, Craig, and I believe his name is Matt. I personally would like to thank Jesse for being very patient with me and trying to get the best possible deal I probably could get. Jesse in my personal opinion represents the company very well by being professional, friendly, very helpful, and stayed in contact with me for throughout the process. Craig and Matt did everything they could for me as well and I appreciate that very much! There were a few mix ups in between but I honestly can say I really enjoyed doing my business here and I would most definitely recommend anyone to feel very comfortable purchasing a vehicle here!!

My only suggestion would be at least one weeknight with later oil change times.

Bought a preowned Elantra from Jason Allen. I visited 5 dealerships in the last two weeks and Jason was the most patient and least pressure sales person. He was very knowledgeable about the different and a great sense of humor. I will come back again, IF Jason is still working there.

I bought my first car here and the people working made it an amazing experience. They went above and beyond! It was very cold outside, so the manager, Mousa, pulled the cars I was interested in inside for me so I could take my time comfortably. He broke down all of the information for me and was extremely patient with all of my questions. He made sure I chose the right car for me. Nate then went over every detail about the car with me so I knew how to work every single thing so I could feel comfortable before driving off the lot. He answered questions I didn't even know I had. Everyone was very informative and professional. Nate also took the car to fill it with gas and clean the interior and exterior while I was signing forms. They were very attentive and respectful to my wants and needs, and found me the perfect car! I won't be needing a new car for a while now, but when I do I'll be sure to go back!

JESSE and "THEE" ROBERT WOODS ARE AMAZING!!! I truly can not express the amount of gratitude I have for the amazing customer service they provided for me. Starting with Jesse, he was so incredibly patient and truly listened to me. He was charismatic and personable. I truly felt like he was not pulling any "fast ones" on me and had an incredibly positive demeanor. Robert, WOW! Robert really has set the bar for what ever salesman should be. He answered all my questions with great detail, kept us updated when we were waiting, and also conversed genuinely with us. He truly made sure there were no strings left undone. BOTH of these men made shopping at Honda in Racine a very positive experience. 10/10 would recommend!

Did an internet lead on CR-V. Sarah Erickson reached out to me. We made multiple appointments to make it down there but because of work and the distance from our home never made it. But wanted to let everyone know Sarah had awesome communication skills throughout the whole thing. Always understanding. Although we were unable to make a deal with Sarah would definitely recommend her.

We needed to get running boards, rain guards for the windows and the armor all treatment inside and out installed. The staff was very pleasant checking us in and called to let us know when it was ready. It took just as long as was stated and the work was done professionally. I couldn't be happier.

I recently stopped at Racine Honda to look at a certified used car. I worked with Jesse, my sales person and Cory who reviewed the final deal. I felt like they did a good job of being fair and I was happy to purchase the 2019 Honda Passport. I would recommend Jesse for your sales representative. He s very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Zach Martinez helped with my car purchase today was really friendly and didn't put any pressure on me all around great experience.

Had scheduled an appointment for the test drive over the weekend and when I reached there the vehicle was already sold. They need to work on internal communication. Wasted my 2 hours of drive because of communication gap between their sales and delivery team.

The manager was very disrespectful and treated me like I was homeless. The sales person kept trying to put me in base models and kept trying to tell me "it might be a little much for you." I ended up going to Muller Honda of Gurnee. Shawn Moore took great care of me and really listened to me. I got what I wanted without the hassle!

I own a+ auto in sturtevant and i just got a great town and country from racine honda. Not only was it the best price in town (and i searched everywhere) its a great van. Danny and Nate bent over backwards to get me the price i needed to be in and washed the car for me and to my surprise put 3/4 of a tank of gas in it just because i told them i was driving it a hour away when i left there. I'm very happy and will be back again. This dealer goes far and beond other dealers thanks again.

Overall good experience. I bought one of their used inventory vehicles (2018 civic si). Pricing was competitive according to Kelly Blue Book. Customer service was good. Car could of been cleaned better (found vaping items from previous owner). However, overall experience was good as they delivered the vehicle to my house free of charge (about an hour drive).

Edit: I was contacted by Racine Honda after my previous (above) review. Salesman "Nick" was very attentive to the car's cleaning quality issue and ensured that my needs were met. Switched review to 5 stars.

Out of convenience (driving by) my son and I stopped in Russ Darrow Honda and after being drilled for 30 minutes, driving only 2 cars, we quickly realized we made a mistake being there. My Bad. I know better.

Friends, Family, Co-Workers and I have all hated Russ Darrow for decades but I thought their new Honda building might be a fresh change of pace. Nope.

We immediately made 40 minute the trip to Racine to complete our test drive and we were so happy we did. So I just wanted to take the time to post a positive comment to one of the best dealers in the Metro Milwaukee Area.

Recently purchased a used vehicle, and left feeling swindled. Be careful of their financing team, especially Shawn. We agreed upon a price on a CPO vehicle and then without disclosing that the price agreed upon did not include CPO certification increased our sale price. Check everything three times before you sign it. Additionally the vehicle was poorly cleaned. Upon us taking it home we discovered disgusting food crumbs underneath the seat belt buckles.

I can't say enough about the excellent service I was given when I went to look at a used car. The courteous and professional salesmen James and Nate, and the personable and approachable GM Matt made this an actual pleasurable experience, along with them giving me a deal I couldn't refuse. I highly recommend visiting Racine Honda when looking for a new or used car.

Called ahead about a vehicle and made sure to inform them that I was driving over an hour to get there, once there I was informed that a deposit was made on the vehicle I was inquiring about. Total waste of time and money, they need to get there stuff together, reading through some other post this has happened before to many people

Racine Honda was probably my best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and I can see why they earn their high ratings. Our sales specialist knew every aspect of the car we wound up purchasing by heart and made sure to go through every new menu option once we were ready for the first drive. Every offer was clearly and straightforwardly explained and even sales personnel that did not speak to us directly welcomed us back the next day having recognized us. This is the way car-buying should be and am happy to recommend Racine Honda!

Just bought a Honda 2018 CRV touring from the dealership and I have to say this was the best experience I ever had at a dealership. I wasnt mobbed by salespeople when I pulled in and looked on the lot which I found very refreshing. Met with Nate who was able to listen to what I wanted without trying to sell me anything and brought me two vehicles that was exactly what I wanted to. Victor who is Nate's manager was able to get me a price that I wanted without asking for my social security number. This is always a plus if you know what you credit score is. Most of the other places just wanted that info right away. I told Victor and Nate to get me the beat price and they show me the price in black and white without juggling numbers around and I knew exactly what I was paying for . Victor explained everything and I was satisfied and made my purchase. When I was moving my items from my other vehicle to my new one I then was greeted by another person to take time to explain and go over all the features in the SUV . There is a lot of text in there and for some it could be overwhelming so I thought that was very nice that they really appreciate their customers and take the time to help you out and make you feel instead of just a sale to be made. Great place , highly recommend them, staff is friendly and no pressure here.

Today I had the pleasure of working with Paco Esquivel. A very eager and outgoing individual. When I arrived I was greeted with a warm welcome . Paco was able to answer all the questions and tend to my needs. I enjoyed my time at the Racine Honda Dealership and I would recommend that when you come ask for PACO.

Victor Cortes was an amazing help as I was trying to purchase a 2017 Honda Accord and he was very smart about the cars information. Also, he was very great in the customer service aspect! Definitely recommend.

The service department was able to get me in without an appointment (I had a headlight and two brake lights out). That got me taken care of in short order.
