Been coming here since I was little, I enjoy their pizza and bombers! If you're around, you've gotta try their pizza!

Wrong night to order the best bombers and pizza in Lake County. I phoned in an order of 7 skinless cheese bombers, one large pizza with cheese, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. I arrived to pick up, paid $68. and some change, waited for 4 other pick ups. My name was called, took my order went to my son's as I was treating for dinner. I received 4 cheese bomber with the skin in tact. I phoned and they apologized saying to return as they didn't t as keep them other bag. I was very upset, embarrassed and it ruined dinner. My son left the table and drove back to Quonset to retrieve the rest of our dinner. Naturally it was not pleasant. Our family has patronized Quonset 60 Years Or better. Never having an experience such as this. They did send a 6 pack of soda and offered a pizza that someone didn't pick up. I felt that they should have replaced the order in full.
Sad, customer service certainly isn't what it used to be.

Really like the crust and it was cooked just right. I use Quonset when I order pizza for my workgroup meetings or if it's just because. It's a little pricier but worth it.

I hadn't in years and was told it was new owners but the quality was the same and the service was great! Yummy

They had stopped taking orders but took ours at the last minute. They made us some good food and I'm hooked on this place. Great job!! We can all the way from Indiana.

I was very impressed today. The last few times I have been for pizza something has gone wrong. Wrong toppings or requesting the pizza be cooked well done and it is not. Today we went with the larger group 9 of us. We ordered 5 bombers which were fabulous. Also two pizzas one just sausage one sausage pepper and onion both were cooked perfectly. Overall a great experience. I have been going to Quonset for 40 years and nothing had changed until new owners a year ago. Seems as if they worked the bugs out.

The best pizza around been going there since I was a little kid

I was so upset with this restaurant today. It took 35 minutes for 2 meatball sandwiches. In addition I ordered a side of Italian sausage. I got home and began eating. Then opened up the Italian sausage. It looked uncooked and was cold. I called the restaurant to complain. Instead of understanding my anger at the situation they tried to say the kitchen was busy and implied I should have realized this sausage was supposed to be like this. They offered me a credit for the cost of the sausage for the inconvenience. It cost $1.89. Wow, really. That s how you let a customer know they are valued and you regret this situation. Luckily, I can let others know not to get their hopes up for a pleasant experience with this restaurant.

Best pizza. Have been going there over 40 years now and always enjoyed their pizza.

I'm eating pizza here for fifty years and it's one of my favorite places to eat food

Decided to order the lunch special over the summer with my boyfriend. While we did enjoy our meal together, the service could use some improvement. The waitress came by seldomly and we didn't receive our refills. We could hear her talk loudly with other staff members about getting drunk and using profanity. Lastly, she drops the check off to the table and we had to search for her just to pay the bill behind the bar. With a few changes in terms of customer service, this classic establishment could be much better dining experience.

My wife and I have been regulars for over 50 years, so you know that I love the place, but there seems to have been a change recently.
We went there with 2 other couples last night and it was not up to the usual standard.
I ordered bacon, hot peppers and pineapple and had to put on my reading glasses and look carefully to find the few shreds of pineapple.
The pepperoni pizza arrived with sausage and pepperoni.
The ham pizza had a few little bits of ham in the middle, and the cheese pizza was over done.
Whoever is running things now, please get your kitchen in order before it's too late.

This place is good! Affordable rates, considerable dishes and the employees are regularly super friendly.

Really enjoyed the pizza, has an old school vibe about it. Took me way back when there were no gimmicks to sell you pizza. It's thin and crispy and so delicious.

I have went to this place since the 70s when I was a boy. There is something to say about a pizza that you cant compare with others. I have had the best and this is up there. I don't think someone should ever say the best in the world but I can understand when you grow up with something that good. I live in the state of NY and before that lived in Minnesota and Chicago does have the best pizza. Also my memories of this place make it in my top ten. BTW the BOMBERS!!! Could never go there without starting with one of those.

Seemed like they forgot my green peppers and threw them on last minute because they didn t seem really cooked other then that pizza was good.

I have been going to this place since I have been a kid and never had a problem until yesterday and today I placed orders both days and never got my order and when I called to confront them on what the problem was I got the run around the manager was rude and incompetent and the guy taking orders on the phone was more incompetent than her she said she was having a bad personal day that's not my problem this is business and I am a customer at least I was!!!! I'm so disappointed in a place I used to love there is no excuse for the way I was treated they both deserve to be fired and I will never spend another dollar with this so called business I hope no one else gets treated like I did spend your money some where else!!!!!

Very good food. Not crowded at all only one other table. Wages did not come back to refill our drinks at all. I finally asked her if I could have a refill. She brought it and a box for one take home and there was 5 of us there. We had to ask for more. So food was excellent service was poor.

Good Lord it brought back some Memories of living in one, however the pizza and the interior are a thousand times better lol. Seriously though the thin and crispy sausage was amazing and this will be my new pizza joint for both my wife and me.

Third time here and it's always clean, staff there is wonderful and accommodating. The price is just right for hot and ready pizza. Only downside is they don't deliver but that is okay. Come down and enjoy the scenery of the place.

The smell when you walk in is soooo good!!Pizza was delicious. Takes about 30 min for a thin crust though.

The bombers I had tasted poorly, I haven't eaten there in many years but the sauce had no zip and the Italian sausage tasted like a bland brat,,,, ,, my wife liked the Italian beef

Grew up eating Quonset pizza every Friday. It's truly awesome pizza. Moved out of state and can say honestly I miss it desperately. Always go when back in town.

Usually have a great time. Tonight service lacked.. and the pizza was just a little over cooked.

By far the worst pizza i ever eat....parmesan garlic wings are cooked just perfect so you can spend 24 hours in the bathroom...food poisoning i would name them

Went into quanset pizza today. With a friend for lunch. The food was excellent. But the service was exceptional. Sat at the bar: the barmaid and the bartender were funny as hell giving a few one line jokes as they worked, making drinks. Enjoyed the place would rate the food, service and place 5 star!

Service is great. Their pizza is so good! They are very timely in order preparation.

A classic! Food and service are excellent. Delivery is on point and food arrived hot. Try a salad with your slice or top off with a cleverly delish cupcake from Sweet Ness. Oh yeah don't forget a frozen Quonset for your freezer!

They're good but the pizza sauce needs some Italian seasoning.

My advice, find a place that knows how to treat you well before you buy their food. How well will they treat your food if they don t know how to treat you right. Horrible soft skills.
Get a clue, everyone is not local. You get a lot of visitors due to military engagements. Get some manners so we want to patronize you. One star because it s not technically possible to leave half a star to give you credit for existing.

This place is the bomb. Nicky serves a mean Tito's Moscow Mule and Jack & Coke. The food ain't half too bad either. 5 outta 5 would get drunk here again.

Wish they would go back to corn meal on the bottom while cooking or work the dough less. Maybe the crust would be less tough. Still good.

I am not impressed by this pizza. A few people had told me it is "the best". So I just had to check it out. I was very disappointed. The pizza is really salty, especially the sausage and they only carry up to a 14inch. That's super lame. It's also a bit over priced. I paid over 20 just for a 14 inch. It's just really basic pizza.

OMG, food's fantastic, staff is amazing, and the history there is wonderful. Great food , good people , great time
