June 5, 2020:

June 5, 2020:
Paid real property tax on QC Hall, still few people paying taxes due to GCQ in the metro. As usual, fast assessment and hassle free payments, still got the 20% discount this June 2020. Just be advise that the bldg for payments of real property tax is at the back of QC Hall, so somewhat a long walk from the main road.
Btw, there's a free coffee for those who pay their taxes, a coffee vending machine is available for free and they are even open on Saturdays.

Let's start with the not one but two non functioning elevators that were placed in City Hall. Originally meant to be used for senior citizens but never saw the light of day. If you are going to process your business permits as a newly registered business, you are in a for a long trippy ride my friend. Make sure to always be alert and come prepared with all of your documents on hand, so they won't ask you to come back again and again for the same thing. Let's see how I fare next year for the renewal of permits.

Came to pay, had to take a leave from my job where it's no work-no pay, and the system for payment is down. Seriously, it shouldn't take more than half a day to fix a downed system. Either their IT is incompetent, or they're being lazy at doing their jobs. Hire better personnel. Felt sorry for those who were in the same situation as me but worse

Guards are giving proper directions. Health workers are very accommodating, despite non-stop work providing Medical Certificate. As of this posting, Multi-level Parking is free -- didn't notice if above levels are PWD friendly

Not so good employees to talk to.

Not so good employees to talk to.

Parking was good. Structure needs a fix. Lots of ambulance that I have never seen in my area so far, assuming it was a free service. Staff would follow a certain time or I'm not really sure but we spent 3 hours for 6 instructions made. Photocopies worth Php5 per page is no fair. Photocopier machine at the back of the staff but would still tell you to go down and have it photocopied in a far area. Policy is hilarious. Correct this first, pay us an amount for something our staff did with your birth certificates long ago and wait for two months since they need to meditate and get it all done as if a person who would do things illegal would do it in the proper process. Afterwards you have to correct something again and give us the same fee and wait again for months. -_- This is where our taxes go. Great.

New buildings are now being constructed like the new hall of justice building, red cross new building, fire department and also the finance building was just newly constructed. When you are applying for financial assistance from the dswd it will take you almost 4hrs from the application to the interview, better if you will have your requirements ready before the visit to save you time. The QC Public Library is also new.

Sometimes, one has to process a document or have an affidavit made in Quezon City Hall, and in so doing, one has to wait for sometime. I found myself waiting in the Library. I tried to look for an interesting book. At one side of the library is a place where you can read and at the same time take your snacks.

This has got to be the biggest city hall I've ever been into. The parking space along is immense (consequently, moving around in a vehicle is complicated and confusing for first-timers). It's full of historic and art pieces (patriotic paintings, busts of famous heroes, pictures of notable landmarks, and plaques of historic events). There are several elevators, and a large conference room that can be divided to host several meetings simultaneously. It has a very energetic and active workforce, too, who take their jobs seriously and render top notch service to all clients. By the way, if you're wondering why there is a disproportionately-huge number of cars owned by lawyers, it's because the Quezon City Hall of Justice is located in the same compound - you can see prisoners being hailed to court all the time here.

So disappointed with the services q in getting Phil postal id & police clearance .. the staff came home very quick. She was my nanny then after she gave me the form. I gave the requirements dhil not denied birth certificate. I presented voters id, barangay id and barangay clearance. It's still not possible. Okay, I understand that requirements couldn't be met but the staff assisted me wasn't really accommodating. The same with getting the police clearance it's 4:30 but their window was already closed. I thought the government office was until 5pm. But why did they close their window immediately? Says it won't be hard to get an Id but still.

A marked improvement feom precious years. It was more disciplined and there weren't that many hawkers plying the offices.
The traffic flow was coordinated and managed. There was a designated parking area which is of so much relief to the public.
Payment of taxes and business permits is well organized. The wait and rhe cue was well coordinated and organized.
