This space does amazing community work and does great community events. They host weekly dance practice, there, and competitions! A lot of rich history in the place. Home to a world-renowned Break dancing team called Supreme Beings. Jiggz is one of the persons that helps organize practices and events.
Forest hills community house is great, my 3 kids went to the after school and summer camp program the kids loved it.
Enjoy the socializing & the eating, along with the comradery.
i go to the queens community house every friday to attend their access for young women program. it is so much fun!! you get to talk about very important subjects with people around your age and have many different activities that will help you understand the topic and what you can do about it. i made a lot of friends there and had very nice counselors. overall great experience :)

Queens Community House is a fantastic organization! They offer a plethora of services for the community and there aren't many organizations in the borough that do. Senior centers, after school, learning to work programs, summer youth employment, housing assistance, immigrant services.. you name it they got it! I have personally referred those I know to the senior center and after school at the Flushing location and the eviction prevention services in Jamaica, as well as told youth to apply to SYEP with this organization.
I am not sure how this organization functions, but they wasted my time finding affordable housing. A representative shared my information with 2 other agencies without consent and to no avail.
This school offers free English teaching. It is a welcoming community.
QCH in Pomonok Houses sucks! They care nothing about the Residents of this community and I can t wait for them to go!

Queens Community House as a whole is a great organization, they do truly care about the kids. However, the site @ PS 86 is completely unprofessional. Landsley the assistant director, constantly has favoritism amongst the staff, whilst kryastlie, the director is never to be found. I would know because I have worked here. This place is toxic, but at least I can say the staff does their work to the best of their abilities, even with a low budget that they re given that never seems to be enough for the kids or given to the staff so they can utilize it.
This place is unprofessional, My son attended the after school program at 67-09 kissena blvd ...the manager is a woman without good judgement ,There is no good homework help and a a lot of the times Mrs.sheena can be rude and unprofessional but yet they are always asking for donates and good luck with trying to speak with someone from the corporate office ...the whole organization is unprofessional...I had to make a 311 report and call the division of child and youth services.
