Brought in my SULLAIR 185 to their shop to fix a lower radiator hose leak.
Told them while they had it, they might as well do a full service on the compressor / John deer engine. Picked up the compressor, paid approx $1,850. Was told they would email me a receipt because it wasn't written up yet.
First time we went to use the compressor, started it up and it was running great except one problem, there was no radiator fluid in the reserve tank or the radiator!!! They never even looked at or fixed the initial problem I brought it in for!! I called and they stated it was going to take another half day of labor to get to the radiator just to see what the problem was. Well what the hell did I pay for to begin with?? I couldn't tell you because they refuse to give me a receipt. I have called and emailed requesting a copy of my receipt..... No response. I asked if they were going to take care of the problem or give a discount for my trouble and almost blowing my engine if I wasn't paying attention, they offered a $5 dollar per hour labor discount. Give me a break. Really?
Don't waste your time or money.
I looked up the manual online and found a panel which was literally 4 bolts and approx. 10 minutes to get to the lower radiator hose, not a half day of labor at $95 per hour.
Thanks for nothing! Fixed the problem myself.
Still waiting for my receipt to see what was supposedly done.
