Brought in my SULLAIR 185 to their shop to fix a lower radiator hose leak.
Told them while they had it, they might as well do a full service on the compressor / John deer engine. Picked up the compressor, paid approx $1,850. Was told they would email me a receipt because it wasn't written up yet.
First time we went to use the compressor, started it up and it was running great except one problem, there was no radiator fluid in the reserve tank or the radiator!!! They never even looked at or fixed the initial problem I brought it in for!! I called and they stated it was going to take another half day of labor to get to the radiator just to see what the problem was. Well what the hell did I pay for to begin with?? I couldn't tell you because they refuse to give me a receipt. I have called and emailed requesting a copy of my receipt..... No response. I asked if they were going to take care of the problem or give a discount for my trouble and almost blowing my engine if I wasn't paying attention, they offered a $5 dollar per hour labor discount. Give me a break. Really?
Don't waste your time or money.
I looked up the manual online and found a panel which was literally 4 bolts and approx. 10 minutes to get to the lower radiator hose, not a half day of labor at $95 per hour.
Thanks for nothing! Fixed the problem myself.
Still waiting for my receipt to see what was supposedly done.

Blackhawk has been great. They are very helpful and their compressor has been very reliable.

Overpriced and poor customer service. Be sure to get a quote from these guys before proceeding with work! They wouldn't give me a quote, then charged me 2 hours of in-office labor to do an oil change on my compressor ($686 for an oil change). They were not willing to make it right. I will not be working with them again.

I've recently switched to using this company for service and we are now buying a compressor from them. Everyone I have met and worked with to date have been exceptional. They have been extremely helpful in the entire processes (including getting the paperwork for an air audit done). I'm very happy to have switched companies.

Overpriced & under serviced. Beware these guys, they WILL overcharge you and bill double for mileage + service fees on the same hour, and then not provide the full service they are hired for in the first place. They suck, use Northern Colorado Air Compressor Repair instead.

I've worked with Blackhawk on multiple projects and have been very satisfied with their Customer Service and Sullair product line. They are very prompt and thorough when it comes to the whole package installation and on small adder-type equipment. They installed a couple large skid mount compressors for us down in the Denver metro area, which have made our operation there much more efficient and provide consistent, constant pressure compressed airflow. The Sullair machines have been a great update for our 30 year old compressors that were in service before. Very happy with their Technical/Engineering support personnel. They also helped us with the Xcel Energy Rebate program and were able to get a rebate that was approximately 50% more than we anticipated. Will be working with these folks again in the future!

I work with Blackhawk to source, install, and support Air Compressors for our clients. Working with Blackhawk has been great. They offer a wide quality product line coupled with excellent service and support.

The worst costumer service in Colorado that I've experienced yet. I highly recommend getting a new secretary/ office manager who possesses communication skills. best of luck
