Great place to play old school video games, eat amazing pizza, and drink a local beer. Highly recommended for all ages. Huge selection of your old favorites including several pinball machines.

If you visit check out the secret entrance to the Ministry of Magic and watch out for Myrtle.

Me and 3 friend went on a Friday night and had a good time. The wait was a bit long due to a birthday party letting out. We passed the time playing games and drinking beer.

We all got pizza and were happy with it. One pizza can definitely feed two adults. I'd label it as a pizza joint more than a brewery. When we go back we plan to go later in the evening to avoid the massive amount of children.

Absolutely awesome! My brother and I took my niece and nephew there (10&14) and we enjoyed cold ones while they had a blast playing games. There s a cool open seating area so you can keep an eye on them. Great games, great food and Misty our server was excellent! We will be back as we and the kids loved it.

Great vibe, good beer and who can complain about the arcade selection which pulls this unique hangout together! If you haven't checked it out yet, do yourself a favor and see it for yourself.

A solid oasis amongst the edge of downtown Cedar Rapids. It's a little bright in there; make it darker with more flashing lights! But they are kid friendly. Outstanding food! That Crab Rangoon pizza is otherworldly; I'd suggest extra toppings of roasted cherry tomatoes and green peppers though

Awsome

Couldn't even get seated!!!

Was visiting Cedar Rapids with a few friends for the first time and wanted to try this place. We got quarters ahead if time for the arcade games and checked to see if they were busy. According to Google it showed their peak times around 9pm and not busy at 5:30. When we got there, there were a few people in line and more arriving. There was a sign stating to 'Please Wait To Be Seated' but no one came to see us. After about five minutes of waiting, I tracked down one of the servers and explained we weren't part of the group that was arriving. Turns out that ALL of the tables had been reserved and if we wanted to sit at anyplace but the bar, it was going to be several hours wait.

First off, if the entire place had been reserved, either put a note stating 'private function' or at least put a note stating room at bar only (and change the sign about waiting to be seated).

Secondly, don't keep a potential customer waiting in line for that long without at least saying 'Welcome' and asking if we were part of the larger party.

We might try going there again tomorrow afternoon, but if the service is that bad then I won't bother changing my review.

Poor service. Twice in the past few weeks, I went in with a couple other people when the place wasn't busy. Though a sign at the front told us to "wait to be seated," no server came to greet us either time, so we finally just picked a table. Both times, no one brought us menus, so after a few minutes we went up to the bar and grabbed some grease-stained ones ourselves. Finally, someone came to take our drink orders. After bringing the drinks, the server left without offering to take our food order, and it was another 6 or 7 minutes before he came back. Again, there were only a couple other tables with people in the whole bar, so I'm not sure what the holdup was. When my order arrived, the fries were room-temperature and hard, and the two tiny chicken sliders were tasty enough but hardly filling, even though it was an entree. The games are fun, but I don't plan to eat dinner here again.

Fun!

Great selection of beer and arcade games. Ms Pacman, Donkey Kong, Asteroids, Zaxxon, Burger Time and much more. Some seem to have unlimited play on them though I can almost swear it's random which games get that from each time I go in there. Food on the other hand is good, but very small proportions to what you're paying. Falafel slider was one tiny sandwich with a small amount of thin chips for too much money. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Great food, beers, service, and games. I had the house brewed Octoberfest beer (highly recommend!) and poutine, my husband had the Buffalo chicken pizza, and kiddos shared a cheese pizza. We left with a ton of leftover pizza. And of course, everyone loved playing the arcade games. A fun family night out.

I loved most of the food here. But the cheese curds are really unappetizing/ horribly over salted and the ranchish thing they serve with the cheese curds is pretty bad too.
I stiill love the pizza and cheesy bread. But the cheese curds are really bad.

the atmosphere was great and the games were lots of fun. On the downside, the menu was very small and did not have your typical american bar/pub foods such as burgers and chicken strips. For children, finding a meal they will eat would be a challenge. The food we did order was not good and the amount of food was very small while the price was high. Overall, it was a fun place to play games but the menu & food could use some improvement.

Went on Sunday and it was slammed but fun in there. Staff did a great job and were really hustling. The games were a blast and in good condition. The food was great but the beer is what really stood out. Excellent house beers. Will definitely be back!

The place is open and setup with different games and pin ball machines. There are a number of beers to choose. The pizza is delicious and there are some fun options like the wonton pizza.

Love this place! Great food and beer and nice collection of retro arcade games. We celebrated my husband's birthday here and service was great even though they were busy. It was so much fun!

The happy hour is very nice. The beer selection is great and is refreshingly cold. If you desire good eats the appetizers are wonderful too. The wait staff are very knowledgeable, they will help you find great combinations. I have enjoyed each visit to this establishment.

We had a great time! Pizza was very good. We also got fries with Parmesan cheese on them that were fantastic. The place was very kid friendly but definitely not like Chuck-E-Cheese.

Great, unique pizzas, friendly service, and lots of classic arcade games and pinball machines. Food was great, prices are good, and highly recommend trying something different and unique...someone came up with some surprisingly good combinations for pizza toppings!

Pizza tasted burnt, probably from all the smoke in the kitchen. I got the Mario and I usually like balsamic but there was way too much on it, extremely strong and overpowering. Tried to order egg rolls but they were out and the waitress said they are usually out of them. It was so loud in there you couldn't even have a conversation. We were given someone else's bill at the end.

Haven't tried any of the food but the drinks are great and there a tons of games to choose from. They have a change machine that takes cash too so don't worry about not having quarters on hand.

My kid and I were here on a late Sun afternoon and had to wait about 20 min.s for a table, just what the hostess predicted. While we waited for our pizzas my kid played a few fun arcade games. My veggie pizza was loaded with toppings and they happily accommodated my request to modify it slightly. The only complaint I have is that it was almost too loud to talk across the table but that s what we expected given the environment. Staff was all really friendly and the price was less than what we would pay in Mpls for comparable food.

Came here for the first time for my work s holiday party. It was ridiculously fun and nostalgic! They even played 80s movies while we were there. Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. And I loved the Harry Potter Easter eggs around the bar! All-around refreshing experience I was not expecting in CR.

Very cool place with a nod to the 80's with the decor, but will transport you back instantly with all the familiar sights in sounds of your favorite old school video games. This is a barcade, and a fun one. They maintain the games pretty well, considering the age of most of them. They have a limited menu mostly oriented around gourmet oven fired pizza. We usually pick our own toppings based on things we like over trying some of the specials. They brew a nice selection of craft beers and seasonals that I have worked my way through. Very good. Love this place. We've had hit and miss experiences with the wait staff, but that was early on. The only real criticism I have is that the acoustics in the place are terrible and sound bounces around filling up the place with a mush of sound energy, even when the place isn't that busy. I like a good din, a good energy, but this place almost gets impossible when it fills up. They need to figure out a way to dampen the acoustics a bit.

Food was great. We got the buffalo chicken pizza. Would eat again. However... we were in a rush and asked if we could eat at the bar. No problem. Seated there and promptly ignored. Suddenly nobody was our server. Took 10 minutes to get a bartender to take our order. Waited 45 minutes for our pizza before we finally got the attention of another bartender and he went and got it... had been sitting waiting for a while. Had to flag someone down for a soda. Never asked if we wanted more to drink. Disappointing service. Would get carry out if I was in the area again but otherwise I'll pass.

The good nostalgia of the 80's era video games was completely overwhelmed by the ridiculous food and service. This place doesn't know what it wants to be. The food and beer is for low standards foodies. The games are for their parents. Our waiter was terrible, I ordered pulled pork sliders. I got one piece of thick cut bacon divided between two buns with greens on it. The onion rings, which they forgot at first were actually just thier version of French's fried onions. They waiter never came to the table to check on the order, refill drink or bring us the check. After waiting some time the bar tender came over and took the check for us.

We went on a Saturday night, which is probably the worst time to go. The noise was extreme. I suggest they install sound deadening tiles on the ceiling and walls. There were a lot of children, which is not what I had hoped. Bordered on Chucky cheese. Most of the kids were gone by 8:30. We had three types of pizza, which were really good. However, the stuffed pepper appetizer was so full of green chiles, that was all that could be tasted. Also, it was not served with enough bread to make a reasonable bite with each piece of stuffed pepper. I'm not going to rush back. If you do want to, go late, so you won't have to listen and compete with the children for the arcade games. However, if you want to show you kids a good time, this might be the place to go.
