Our boiler stopped working overnight on New Year's eve, and my family woke up to a 43 degree house New Year's Day. After calling around to several other companies who were either closed or charging a high fee to come out on the holiday, I reached the folks at Quality Degree. I cannot say enough great things about this company (especially Aaron Will, the tech who came out to our house). Quality Degree responded to my call immediately, had a tech to our house within 2 hours, and had our boiler working again an hour later! They were prompt, accurate, and affordable, and I will use them for all of my heating/cooling needs in the future. I cannot recommend Quality Degree highly enough!

The communication process from first appointment t...

The communication process from first appointment through sales and on to installation were excellent. Every single person I spoke to at Quality Degree was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional! They made the whole process of selecting and installing a new HVAC system simple and efficient.

The installers let us know they were on the way and then arrived right on time. They were incredibly neat and organized during the installation and kept me well updated.

The new system looks great and functions perfectly! Exactly as advertised up front.

I could not be happier with Quality Degree. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new furnace, air conditioning system or both!

Can I leave a 0? Had this company out to do an install for me, they did a Great job. Signed up for an almost $300 service agreement paid monthly. Had some health problems wasnt able to respond to them when they tried to contact me about my credit card being declined for the monthly payments for about 2 months. Had Spinal Surgery, was in a lot of pain didnt get back to anyone. Called them today wanted to pay what was past due on the monthly service agreement, and get it reinstated. Spoke to Deb she told me because I didnt get in touch my only option was to pay for the year which I cannot financially do at this time. Spoke with the owner same story, I asked for mercy, said as a one time courtesy cant you reinstate the agreement? NO she said cannot do it, I explained my situation, apologized, she began to lecture me about how I need to "step it up" her exact words, its not like this company is the IRS, their a local hvac company. As a business owner myself I understand what she was saying about her policy but that she had no room for mercy or understanding is beyond belief in my opinion. As such I would not do any business with this company because if you slip just a little this is what will happen to you and their will be NO MERCY! I still cannot believe the conversation with the owner of the company no less. Incredible. Buyer BEWARE!!

Very pleased with QDI. They not only have high quality and friendly technicians, but they have high quality equipment. They completed a total HVAC equipment overhaul on our 17 year-old home in one day. I worked from home while they were here and barely noticed them.
They cleaned up like they were never here, and when I had a slight issue the next day, one of the guys stopped by the house on his way home.
Highly recommend, especially if it's time to replace your equipment.

They are cleaning up now, they ran a test on both systems and they showed me how to work the Ecobee thermostat. They were very punctual and professional did a great job. I would highly recommend them. Cole, Chris and Ben were all professional and helpful. Ben answered all of my questions I highly recommend QDI for anyone looking for an HVAC company. I got them through Cosco.

Jake and Danny were timely and polite. They took care to use to shoe covers to protect my flooring. Jake took time to walk around and brief me on all the work to be done and updated me throughout the day. Care was taken throughout the inside and outside installs to cleanup as they progressed. Both Jake and Danny did an excellent job and left the work areas as clean as they found them.

In less then a week I had a quote and install complete.Charlie Ribaudo came to our house and explained everything in great detail as to what we needed, and what would happen with replacing the system. Gave us a GREAT price that couldn't be beat!
Stephen,Dan and Cole came to our house to do the install. Arrived on time! They did what they needed to do. Explained what they did and signed some paperwork. They cleaned everything up and nothing was left behind. They did a great job and were very professional! You ask...am I satisfied??? You bet I am! Thank you again for your great service!!!

Our three-story Victorian era Bridgeport Pennsylva...

Our three-story Victorian era Bridgeport Pennsylvania home, built in 1890, had an aging oil-fired steam-boiler heater with corroding steam pipes and an oil tank that was beginning to leak. We were looking at replacing this old system with a gas-fired forced hot-air furnace, with the option of upgrading to central air at the same time.

The prospect of having to fit-out an old three-story structure with a network of ductwork presented many challenges. In fact, many of the HVAC contractors in the Philadelphia area that came out to estimate the job said that the project was too complex for them or it could not be done within our budget.

Our experience with Quality Degree was very different from all of the other HVAC contractors that evaluated our project. When Charlie Ribaudo from Quality Degree came out to our home to evaluate our project, I expressed my concern to him that the other contractors told me they couldn't do this complexity of work or could not do it within my budget. Charlie's response was "This is the kind of work that Quality Degree does everyday. And we will do it within your budget!"

Then Charlie visited my home again with Quality Degree's lead technician Jake Moss. Together they created a custom HVAC design, hot air and central air conditioning, that was perfect for our old home and within our budget!

The installation of our HVAC system by Quality Degree was exceptional as well. Jake and his team members, Dan and Ken L., completed this large project in just four days! Since the install was done in the winter, they planned the job so that we were never without heat for more than just a few hours. The installation team was very professional, neat, clean, and well organized. Throughout the project, Jake kept in constant contact with us, asking us everyday if we had any questions.

Janelle Hevener, Installation Coordinator for Quality Degree, kept us informed with every step of the process. She even filed for the gas company rebates on our behalf.

We are so happy with our new heating and air conditioning system! We would definitely recommend Quality Degree for anyone who has HVAC needs

The two workers who installed our heat pump unit are very competent of what they were doing. Our carpet and wood floor were lined up with cardboards and plastic liners for protection from being soiled or scratched. All our questions and concerns were politely answered and explained. We are very satisfied of their work and our heat pump is efficiently working. Thank you very much, Quality Degree!!!!

Outstanding customer service. Called to confirm appointment and showed up on time. Was very professional and completed the service call in timely manner. He was even able to accommodate my request to install surge protection for my heat and air units. At the end of the appointment he reviewed the stats from my air unit as to how efficient it is running and answered all my questions in an easy to understand manner. I look forward to many years of business with QDI. I give my strongest recommendation for anyone looking for a heating and air conditioning vendor.

Excellent experience. No one ever wants to find out their 4 yr old HVAC system wasn't installed properly would cost a pretty penny however Quality Degree was responsive and timely. This company is a scam! DO NOT USE!

This company is a scam! DO NOT USE!

This spring, the AC was working, but the house was not getting cool enough. Naturally, I looked at the unity to determine who the prior owners had used for service. After calling the number, I found on the unit, I asked if it had any history of issues. The company indicated they had no history of working at this location.

In addition to the phone number, I had a sticker on the side of the unit that had shown when they had been out at least once/year. Thus, I knew their records were inaccurate. Then, after the tech arrived, he had indicated he remembered working at my house before, but had no records of what service had been done.

All I wanted to know if there was a history of issues with the unit so I knew what I was dealing with before I started spending money to fix it. Unfortunately, this company could not produce service records.

When the tech arrived, he immediately began pushing their service plan. It felt like they sent a sales guy to my front door, not a technician. I asked if it was necessary for me to make that purchase for him to do the on-site visit. He told me that it was not necessary, but that without it there would be a fee for his deployment on-site.

This directly conflicted what I had been told by dispatch. I had been told that there was no deployment fee if the unit had been serviced by them before, which I had proof of. He told me that must be a miscommunication because there is either a (1-year) service plan or a deployment fee. Since he was already on site, I was on the hook for one or the other before any work was done, despite being told the opposite by dipatch. I made very clear that on the heels of what had already happen, I wanted to know the work to be done before I would agree to any cost.

The tech began examining the unit and informed me that we were low on refrigerant, telling me that the unit needed to be filled. While I was asking questions about why this would occur, without my consent or indicating cost, the technician began filling the unit. When I asked that he stop so I could receive a quote before agreeing the complete the purchase, the technician said that the cost for the first pound was significantly higher priced but each remaining pound after that was only about $30. Since I was already past the first pound before I noticed he was filling it, I felt it made sense to fill the remainder.

After doing so, he asked me if I wanted to purchase a dye pack to determine where the leak was occurring. My response was already one of frustration because he has put in a temporary solution before even telling me there was a leak. I immediately inquired as to the cost of such a pack. he said he was unsure; that he would have to look it up.

My response was to ask if this was the only way to fix the problem. He told me that I had to use a dye pack to find the leak. He estimated that the dye pack was roughly $300. Since we were creeping up on a hot summer, I agreed that if this was the only way to determine the problem, that he should use the dye pack.

I trusted this professional's knowledge of the situation, but after researching, this dye pack is only about $40, and is often useless, helping find the problem less than half the time.

So, when all was said and done, my bill came to nearly $900, and the problem was not even fixed. To top this off, all of his estimates were rates only if I had the service plan that I stated I was not purchasing. Thus, I was forced into taking the service plan to keep the bill from being nearly $2000.

When I inquired about the service plans benefits, the tech told me I get two free cleanings/year. I asked him to complete the one free leaning on that visit, but the technician told me he would be back in 4-6 weeks to check for the leak, where most costs could follow to fix the unit. At that time, he would complete the cleaning.

12 weeks later, I had to seek out the followup, only be told that we will be waiting 1 more.

I am disgusted with this business model and would not recommend to anyone

The first guy that came out, Todd, was very nice a...

The first guy that came out, Todd, was very nice and thorough. He did a great job explaining everything to us and got us our quote extremely fast. We also got three separate quotes and this one was very reasonable.

The three gentlemen that came to do the work, Jake, Mike, and Tom, were all three very nice and professional as well. In these coronavirus times, it was also nice to see them wearing masks and they also had on those shoes coverings every time they had to walk on the carpet. The new system was explained to us in detail as well.

Overall, we are very pleased with the work done and will be recommending them anytime we see people asking for suggestions.

My experience was great!!! We hired Quality Degree through Costco and we weren t disappointed. Our installers Jake and Chris walked us through every step of the process and were very informative. We have two hvac systems; one for the upstairs and the other for the downstairs, so it was a two day job. Each day our installers were on time and followed social distancing rules( they wore masks). These guys placed carpet protectors on the stairs and even wore BOOTIES! As you can tell, we are greatly satisfied and would recommend Quality Degree to anyone. Thank you.

All four workmen were considerate and gentlemanly throughout the day of work in our house. The work done was all executed neatly, both inside and out. Though the weather does not yet call for using our Lennox mini split units, we tested them all and are very pleased with the operation thereof. Jacob effectively led his crew to accomplish the work in one day, leaving our home better than they found it.

Starting with customer service representative to the QC expert personnel are very professional. Jason the QC/Sale Representative expert was on time, very respectful and did all safety checks. Jason explained the repair job in depth steps and provided options for new units. The job is scheduled to be completed next Tuesday, so we look forward to the installation team to come out and get the project done in accurate and in timely manner. The Installation Team was on time and they worked non-stop from 8:00am to 4:00pm. It was 3 crew team that worked efficient and with understanding that the task is to be done in time. All members were very respectful towards each other and communicated very accurate in order to get the job done. The old units were huled away in no time. They explained each unit that were installed in detail. They were very polite and were open to any questions regarding the units. We had great experience with the QD Inc employees. No mess left to clean up. We are sleeping in warm house today. Thank you, Patel Family

We were very happy with the quality of work from Quality Degree. From day one when we called to discuss our plans an estimate was quickly scheduled. After our initial visit, we received our estimate within a few hours. The day of the install the crew was here before our 8AM scheduled start time, very punctual. Jake and Lance were our workers and were extremely professional. They took the steps to wear their masks and shoe coverings per protocol, and put our minds at ease. When they completed the job we couldn t even tell they were here. Great job all around. Thanks Jake and Lance.

Took the time to leave additional information for our wifi thermostat. Very clean and tidy. After completion of services, took an extra 30 seconds to repair the screen door handle for disabled homeowner. Would highly recommend QDI, and this technician to other homeowners.

Jake, Dan and Tarif of Quality Degree, Inc. did an excellent installation job replacing my broken HVAC system in the winter and after a snowfall. Now, this is coming from someone that doesn't give out compliments that easily and esp. because they exceeded my expectations. I can tell you that they were professional, timely, courteous, effective, attentive, responsive, knowledgeable and thorough from start to finish. They truly earned an A+ in my book and I am glad and fortunate to have met Jake, Dan and Tarif. I highly recommend them!

Quality Degree was outstanding. Jake was cordial and very detailed in his explanation. While installing he found an issue and resolved it. They were very careful with wall and door dings (none actually). I d highly recommend them for your HVAC needs!!

It was very long, hot day for me and installation ...

It was very long, hot day for me and installation crews. I am very impressed with the team( installation team , Cole, Josh, Sergey, Lance, Thomas, Justin). Specially the installation manager Cole Lukacinsky , he is the best. Here is the story.

Our family(3 generations) have lived in this house over 26 years. My dad bought it first, and I bought it from him 4 years. My dad had changed the ac and blower (heat pump) once.
The old unit..since I have changed the air filter by myself, it was nightmare. My dad, he had just changed it. He is not really concern about it after that even we had have a big issue. The air filter was located under the bottom of blower . Water from the blower dripped over the filter, filter got wet. Finally the filter dropped into the ground. So most time.. I like to say, many years we had breathed without air filter.. even we spend money for it. Yes, I did changed it again and again. it have kept happening .. I gave up.. I have felt desperate.
(Later Cole told me why it happened. Actually later he install the new unit, he spend some amount time to fix). Anyway, the ac had been running even it had the problem. I had called couple mechanic to fix it. They said that I should get the new unit. But we didn t. Because It still works anyway ( not 100 % Worked).
Finally I decided to get new unit. This time, I want the air filter unit to be located in the side of blower. Not bottom. No matter what...
The first day when I met the sales rep from Qualitu Degree, I told him more than 10 times. why I want the new ac and where the air filter should be located. SIDE of the blower!!! This time I ordered the pure air system( 5 inch thick air filter and UV light).

Today is the day of installation.
They started from 8am. Since I worked, I came home around noon. I went the basement to see the new unit. Guess what? They put the air filter unit in bottom of the blower. And It is almost done.. drain job was done too. Only electric job was not done yet. Oh my god!!!
The problem is the sales rep didn t mentioned it or make the note to them. ( he didn t show up today. Is this normal?) This was the first requirement, main reason for getting new ac.
it is hot, humid day. No ac. I was very seriously thinking about taking whatever they have done.(considering 2-3 hour job, nothing really wrong.. Only it was not the right way what I really want.) couple calls were made between me, Cole and office, I decide to fix it in right way..
Put the air filter unit in the side of the blower,
I felt really sorry about them. It was not the installation team s fault. Even I spent 2-3 hours to set up. And spend another 2-3 hour again into same work...I know how they felt.
But they showed me smile.. saying no problem..
They did really good job. I ordered Lennox brand.(premium brand) Without Cole s team work, it was normal ac.. His team made it completed. No doubt!!!

Finally I got the natural gas into my house today. Since last August there were delays for it. Main reason is peco.

Degree is an excellent HVAC provider. Two years ago they installed a new system. Professional install and since then the system has worked great. Today Ken did the annual maintenance. Ken was pleasant and professional (and did COVID safety practices). He double checked with me about any issues. Also I appreciate that the back office does a great job too communicating live as well as in texts and emails. All around a top notch experience. Highly recommend.

It was really an emergency in our house, when I wa...

It was really an emergency in our house, when I was desperately calling multiple companies and see if someone can take this call and give us back our cool air. The night before, my 2 year old was so hot that she started throwing up at around 1am. In the morning, I dialed 2 reputable companies and no one could accommodate us. Then, I went on the facebook and simply started calling ALL recommended local companies. When I got to the list of Quality Degree, Inc, they responded quickly assessing situation as an emergency and sent Michael to our house. The 1st words that came out were: Mam, I will not leave without you having an air conditioner on. I almost cried, as I already was tired from a sleepless night. Then, Michael proceed putting on the booties as another delightful sign of respect and went straight to the basement, where I already installed a new filter just to check if I did it correctly. Within 10 minutes, he diagnosed the problem! He communicated this to me and offered a solution. Even though the night was cooler, but I slept well knowing that next time it gets hot, my family will sleep well, and I would not have to miss a day of my work! Thank you!

Aaron was great; he was here on time and answered all questions and then some. It is great to have the ac working again. Edited to add: It is just the service itself was really highly priced at ~$425 for replacing a material that can be purchased for $20.

QDI is a FIVE STAR Company all around!
We have used them for all our HVAC needs for the last two houses we have owned and have been extremely pleased. The office staff is a pleasure to deal with and the service techs are top notch!

Just had Jake Moss and his co-worker Dan install a new heater and A/C system for our home. Extremely pleased with their work and the overall quality of the new systems! They clean up so well you wouldn t know they were here. Another win with QDI!

Ken Raymond did a great job with our fall heater maintenance! We always have a good experience with whoever QDI sends out!

Rod Reyes did a great job with our spring heater/AC maintenance. Always pleased with the service techs that QDI sends out!

Jake came out today to replace our A/C system. He showed up on time and was super friendly. He showed me how to setup the thermostat on my phone and how to use it, and cleaned up and put everything back the way it was before leaving. As a stay at home mom, I need to be able to trust the people that I let into my home, especially since I'm busy taking care of an infant, and Jake was very trustworthy and even made every attempt to be extra quiet for the baby. Jake Moss and his crew (Dan, Chris and Steve) at Quality Degree recently installed central air conditioning in our 60+ year old house. I used them because they partner with Costco. As a result of of my Costco membership I received a very good price and I knew I would have Costco back me up if anything went wrong. I can't say enough good things about Jake and his team. They were professional, courteous, pleasant and efficient. They explained everything they were going to do, how long it should take, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. If they are representative of Quality Degree, I highly recommend them.

Exceeding our expectations_ When our new system was not working as expected, Quality Degree Inc., addressed the issues when the manufacturer was unhelpful. QDI came out on a Sunday on short notice to provide temporary relief until a replacement part arrived. The technician (Phil) who came out to make the final repair is relatable and very knowledgeable. I recommend him highly. He was able to diffuse what probably would be a stressful experience for us confronting manufacturers who rarely deal with their consumers directly. Thank you.

Great experience in every way. Dan came out to give me pricing on replacing my furnaces, AC units and hot water tank. Price was much less than other quotes and the equipment was higher quality. The install team was fantastic. They sent enough installers to complete the job in one day - 3 systems including one in the attic. All the guys were great (about 7 of them). Special shout out to Jake and Cole!! Thanks! I'll be recommending you to all my neighbors.

Since I have been a customer, they have been sending Matej out to service my heater and AC. He is friendly, always on time, knowledgeable and explains everything very well. Sergey, Rod and Steve came in today for replace our 15 year old AC and gas furnace. They came in on time, explain project step by step. After all day work they explain to me how is working new system. Also they help me download new thermostat to my iPhone and explain how is working.Sergey, Rod and Steve was very friendly and pollute. They tested new system, make sure I understand everything. I highly recommend Quality Degree.

Quality Degree installed a Crown oil boiler with a...

Quality Degree installed a Crown oil boiler with a Beckett burner and an oil tank with a Smart oil gauge in my home in early 2018. I wanted a stainless liner in my chimney to complete my heating project. One of their techs, Phil, suggested Chester County Hearth and Home, who cleaned, repaired and installed that liner mid-April 2018. Phil, from Quality Degree came back this morning to adjust the boiler with the new liner.

Both of these companies had exceptionally qualified technicians. And these men had something invaluable. Respect and integrity. They were respectful of my home and property, and they all treated me like a favorite family member. Highly recommend.
