Sunday lunch review: go for the live music, bottomless wine or champagne, the marvelous venue, and to see the people. All of those components are top notch and hard to best in the whole of London. The wait staff was excellent, creating a truly bottomless wine glass as the level of attention meant never seeing the bottom of the glass over the course of 2 hours. 4/5 stars as the food left me a bit underwhelmed, though I will say that my better half raved about the risotto. Recommend.

Amazing!! Boyfriend chose the place for a surprise anniversary dinner and it was an amazing experience from the start to very end. 10/10!

Magnificent looking bar and restaurant. Great for dinners and for drinks early in the night. When we went they had live music which was amazing.

Simply fantastic, great food, great music, great service, great atmosphere..... is that enough greats?

The food was good, however if you order the 'devilled rock oyster', note that it is cooked... this isn't made obvious on the menu at all.
The music is far too loud and I'm only 22 so usually that wouldn't be an issue for me but it was really weird and out of place music, sort of didn't seem like the restaurant knew what they were doing on that front.
Wouldn't recommend it if you're wanting to catch up and have a chat with friends/family as we couldn't hear each other and ended up having to sit in silence.

Nice place with a nice ambiance. We booked a private dining room for a work related dinner. This allowed us to have proper conversations. If I would have visited this for leisure, I would prefer a table near the podium below. Looked excellent.

My husband decided to book this restaurant for a Sunday lunch after reading some reviews and it was just perfect. Bit on the pricey side but the quality of food and service is fantastic. We specifically booked lunch at 1.15pm so that we would have the live band to eat lunch to and it was amazing. My husband is already talking about our next visit. I would definitely recommend for any celebration or just a lovely meal out- it's an experience when the live band is playing.

Definitely not the kind of service you'd expect from these prices. Venue is beautiful, no doubt. Reservationist(s) were helpful, kind, and communicative.
Server was a touch overenthusiastic, but I chalk that up to too much espresso.
Somm and GM are pretty awful.
We ordered a bottle of wine, the somm came over, opened it up halfway, then asked if it was the right one. It wasn't. Just a heartbreak, considering it was wrong, then they told us it was the same cost for a wine that was not nearly as good. Poor following of steps of service, we declined the wine and the evening was spoiled.
Pumpkin risotto was about as good as I can make at home, considering how salty it was.
Duck liver was good.
Wine list is ok, champagne list is hilariously bad.
Nothing beyond your usual fare.
Will never go back, but will recommend for a first hand look at the worst service in London this far.

This is where to go for that very chic cocktail. The spirits are so very creative. We loved our barman Ivan . He encouraged us to stay for the live music and a bite to eat. We are so happy we did - everything was prepared beautifully from beginning to end!

Had our anniversary celebration on Saturday, fantastic venue, great food and wine. Exceptional staff, great band and music. Cannot wait to come again.

Excellent night had by all at Quaglinos for a birthday meal. The dining room has maintained the wow factor from Conran days. The bar area is plush with a special occasion feel. We had the Evening Standard 3 course set menu which was excellent value. We noted that many of the dishes could be found on the a la carte menu. Of particular note was the watercress veloute and the rump of lamb was tender and delicious. On top of this we had live music. Fab night out.

Love this place everytime i visit food is always great and service is impeccable. Live music can be too loud if you want it to be romantic but otherwise you can have music while you eat.

The restaurant is very nice with two bar area very very nice and a stage with live music. The food is good but, not excellent and not balance the price. The meat was good but cold. Even from the service, I was expecting something more, the staff is a little bit out of focus. In any case, a positive but not exciting experience.

A friend's party celebration dinner - despite telling the waiter at the beginning of the meal that it is her birthday and her dessert should come out with a candle - this did not happen. In fact the meal was so rushed we were not even More

Fantastic food, beautiful atmosphere, without the pretence. Not particularly cheap but what a meal. Attentive service, we were well looked after. Recommend the cheese selection. Try and go when some live music is scheduled for an atmospheric buzz.

Good food for reasonable price and the best coffee!

Food was ok, staff didnt make us feel comfortable and tried to rush us to finish eating and leave the table. We spent over 300 gbp for this dinner and dont want to be asked to leave when we are in the middle of dessert. Would never come back. There are much better restaurants for the value and much more pleasant

Great value for money attentive service and excellent hospitality

I came here for my 30th birthday meal with 6 of my friends. Although the food was lovely, we were continually rushed and pressured by the wait staff to order and continually reminded we only had the table for 2 hours! Which upon looking around at other tables was not true, there were people there before us and still there when we were forced off the table. Not a great experience and wouldn't be returning any time soon which is a shame!

The gym Edmonton Green. So dirty is not cleaned every day. Infection down mushrooms you can get.

Very nice and a comfortable place to have a friends/family get-together. The staff are pleasant and helpful. Very good range of cocktail to try and a impressive/gastronomic food options. They did have a live music performance, which adds life to the place.

Fantastic drinks, food and especially service by Ainhoa. Brilliant attention to detail and care! While drinks and food were great, service set it apart!! Would apsolutely recommend. Many thanks again to Ainhoa. Fantastic night that was Ment to only be a quick cocktail around 4pm but lasted until close to midnight.

Live acts could do with better sound engineering so you could hear music lyrics more clearly! Otherwise great service

Staff kept reminding our group when we had to leave the table before we sat down, during our meal...and I say staff meaning the same person, we all understood the first time! from this point on I didn't enjoy my experience of the place, I didn't eat the food so have no comment...paid then left . Found staff including door boys very rude.

Visited this evening. Really nice food and atmosphere, overall enjoyable experience. Would rate a 5 if not for the awful girls at the front desk - the waiters in the resturant were lovely and polite but girls checking us in on arrival were incrediblely rude and obnoxious!. Worth a visit despite the initial poor service.

I wanted to feedback that we had the best time on Saturday night.

Staff, venue and atmosphere always delights.

It exceeded all our expectations and the bar men on the front bar were excellent, as were the band. They played jungle book which incidentally was my parents wedding song and it was an anniversary celebration so it was incredible. Thank you and see you soon.

This is(was) one of my favorite restaurants for last 20 years.

excellent untill the band starts.
It gets too noisy if you sit close to the stage and not sure to have a live band here which might spoil old Quaglinos. Maybe the time moved on.

When I lived in England 20 years ago, I always visited after watching a musical. Whenever we booked in poor English, ordered at the bar, and decided on an unfamiliar menu, the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. And the last dish that came out was modern and traditional, very impressive.
I will definitely go there when I come back to England.
That's why we still receive DMs in Japan.

We went there yesterday for a birthday celebration. We had a fantastic time. The staff were really really nice and very attentive. The food and drinks were superb! We really liked the band that was playing. It did cut short at 10pm due to the pandemic restrictions, but nonetheless it was an amazing night. I strongly recommend.

Just brilliant - great food, fantastic service, a real treat

As usual, the service was amazing, food outstanding entertainment perfect to round it up. -little advice, although the staff is working hard to achieve the above mentioned great experience, they should be encouraged to take a deep breath and slow down on the floor. It feels a bit like dodge ball trying to walk through the venue.

Fab venue, food and staff. The set menu had few, but good options, and the food was brought out with good pauses between courses. The food was delicious and good sized portions. The evening band were great. They were not overpowering, so we could still chat over some tasty cocktails!

The atmosphere was amazing and the taste of food was good, but when order came out 5 out of 10 people were missing food on there plates.
It all got resolved on the day!

Quaglino's was first opened in 1929 and as you step into the restaurant, the recreation of the decadence of that era certainly hits you!

The hustle and bustle, live music and the glorious staircase. The service is attentive, there are two bars and if you don't mind me saying, this place is great for people watching.

The modern European food is excellent and the savoury courses are good value for money (I recommend the celariac and beef bourguignon).

I have visited 5 D&D restaurants to date and this is by far my favourite.

(Only thing I wondered was, how would pushchairs and wheelchairs be accommodated).

Our first night in London and what better way to begin than having dinner at Quags. Friendly and professional service, food was amazing and the atmosphere in the restaurant oozed class and sophistication without been pompous. Highly recommend it.

This restaurant was highly unwelcoming and my party of 11 were all disappointed. The overpriced dishes were not worth it. The waiting staff upstairs at the bar were blatantly rude and very unwelcoming. They seemed to provide good service to just their regular/familiar crowd and did not prove to be inclusive at all. I will not be returning to Quaglino's and I definitely do not recommend it.

That tornado cocktail! Love it! Dinner was fantastic and we had great live music. The place looks amazing. Makes you want to put on some extra lipstick and get that 20's groove on.

A great experience. Private dinning rooms overlook the main restaurant, bar and entertainment providing privacy without feeling claustrophobic. Food was excellent.

I eat in lot of restaurants around Mayfair & the West End and this was by far the worst eating experience I ve had in a long time. Pine Xmas decorations letting off such a pungent smell made one almost want to vomit. A bland menu, with staff who had no idea what the food was, who believed that repeating the phrase sea herbs over and over again would help explain what they were. Overpriced food and wine, a sommelier who attempted to tell us about our CHILEAN wine from Argentina - just appalling. My guest who lives abroad, had requested the restaurant having last eaten there some 20 odd years ago. I imagine it ll be another 20 years until he returns! For me 20 years would be too soon.

Understaffed. My hot food, was mildly warm. It was served on a cold plate and my side dish arrived after 2 requests. Worst restaurant I have ever experienced.

Service from the floor manager and waiters was top-notch, although the hostesses at the reception came across a tad snooty. Great live music from 11pm onwards on Saturday nights. Quality of food is generally good. Save room for dessert.

Loved this place! Came with some girlfriends and had the best time! Service was on point, drinks and food are top notch, atmosphere and interior design is beautiful, very grand! Instantly became one of my favourite spots to hang out in London.

Hidden gem. Have visited the restaurant twice now and I would definitely recommend and be back myself. It down at look anything special from the outside but stepping down into the main restaurant your meet with a beautiful art deco venue. Plush booth, lovely comfy chairs. Staff have always been courteous and friendly even though it can get super busy. They have a great menu and a funky and fun cocktail menu. Would recommend to anyone looking for something a little funky and fun.

This place feels like it s trading on its rep a tiny bit. Food and drinks were good (lamb was delicious) but something about the atmosphere feels a bit, I don t know, touristy? Maybe it was something to do with them needing to have more space between tables or something, not sure. Also, the music was WAY too loud. It s not a bad place but feels a bit pricey for the experience.
