Fabulous spaces, exhibits and galleries. The modern Aboriginal display was mind blowing.

Diverse, well appointed, many cafes, and bars located near by and the river runs past with the ferry
Great place to walk around and cool down. It is very quiet Most of the time and it was a free entry.
Well set out display with ample opportunity to see everything
The motorcycle exhibit was excellent and interesting.
I would highly recommend visiting their paid exhibit (Water) which is currently running as of January 2020 until April 2020.
It has a few interactive sections and some breathtaking exhibits. The whole experience takes a solid hour assuming you don't skip through the video sections of the exhibit.
Besides that, the regular exhibits also have a healthy amount of interactive artwork and stuff involving videos.
Great exhibitions. Well located near public transport.
Helpful staff, easy access. It's worth spending some time to explore the precinct as there is much architecture and art to embrace.
No tickets
Very big and very comfortable inside
Everyone is very kind.
Going to the mood is also good.
Although there are not many exhibitions when I go
But still good
Really, the whole five stars are very good.
I like to have a heartbeat in my favorite.
That show is not too big
But it s fun, it s fun to listen to your heartbeat.
It s fun to relax.
Always up there with the cultural exposure as Syd & Melb...
Really great gallery, excellent for contemporary Australian art.
This is a great place for a first date. You go to the State capital and enjoy together something that transcends your everyday.
Absolutely fantastic world class facility, excellent staff - very good experience.
GOMA is always impressive! The permanent collection is brilliant and there is always an amazing exhibition on. I always make sure to visit GOMA every time I'm in Brisbane. The Patricia Piccinini exhibition was out of this world!
Anyone visiting Brisbane for any amount of time - as well as SE QLD locals - should put some time aside to visit GOMA.
Love this place. Plenty of stuff that is free of charge
We took our grandchildren and it was very good except for the language on the wall in the Tiny Albert Visible room. That disgusted us that it was there for all ages to see. We teach our children not to swear and then they see this in plain site.
Free access year round .. friendly staff .. a large assortment of artwork
11yo son and I had a great afternoon there looking at the motorbikes displays.
Up date the days as it said open and I drove out here and it's closed. Who ever you have to sort out your social Media sux and should be fired.
Something of interest for all the family and makes it easy to visit both galleries side by side. Loved the food in the cafe and great customer service.
Lovely place I enjoyed all the art. One thing it s disappointing about is they sell several products of jacaranda's art but there was actually not available in the gallery. I asked staff and they said it s not available at the moment until the end of October...?
I m from Sydney and not easy to come back so just bought the postcard... However, atmosphere and the arts are amazing, good place to avoid the sun.
Totally awesome! What a privilege to view such beautiful works under one roof here in Australia.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Motorcycle: Design, Art, Desire Exhibition that is currently showcasing. The exhibits were incredible altho I am not a motorcycle person. Interesting to see the vehicles through the ages & read up on the history. The Harley Davidson definitely highlight. Go see it as soon as you can you will not be disappointed. The GoMA is such a professional & pleasurable venue.
There is no enough words to describe the quality the gallery, unviable how much dedication and care Brisbane local government put into every little details.
The beauty the confort, the cleaning, everything is immaculate.
Well done to you all, en charge of this beautiful space.
I love going there is so delating, and free.
A place where the body and mind become fun in bored Brisbane
Fantastic displays went to motorcycle design show excellent.
Very interesting museum in Brisbane. Highly recommended. The entrance is free except for special expositions. The GOMA is located close to the river with a beautiful view.
Fantastic way to burn a couple hours or more. Best part is it's free!
Plenty to see, wide variety of contemporary and old, local and foreign, paint and sculpture. Helpful guides and spacial environment to view
Great venue for free access - a good stop during a walk around Southbank take some time to experience some Art, both local and international.
Such a vast space to allow some of the most exciting art installations
LOVE the GOMA. A truly wonderful gallery always offering an excellent programs full of colour, interaction and discovery. Spectacular for children too.
The gallery is free, howeevr, one annoying (yet kind of understandable) thing is, you have to cloak your bag. Other than that the art gallery is great, it always has fun an interactive exhibitions. Have been a few times now and have no doubt I'll be back again in the near future.
Great gallery, current marvel exhibition is expensive but interesting.
Modern, spacious art works easy to see and access. Wandering and browsing through exhibitions encouraged. Great Way to spend a very pleasant day seeing what is happening. Qld should be proud of this place .
Unfortunately went between exhibits but the kids loved the fashion theme in the basement and the visual arts level was great.
Lovely art and a great place to relax it's also great for inspiration
Always a pleasure to attend GOMA to see latest exhibition. Parking available in centre carpark (about $18), easy gives walking distance to GOMA.
A wide array of art, including paintings, sculptures and installations to suit all tastes.
Absolutely love this place. Usually something going on for the kids but not this visit as they they were updating in preparation for the school holidays. But even so my kids, 8 & 13, really enjoy the artworks.
Just dropped in today for the Piccinini exhibition. Quite stunning, absolutely worth the entry fee. I'll be back with the kids
Visited to see a movie screening as part of International Science Week - wasn't sure what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent movie theaters at GOMA.
I always have a great time here with my son. The kids installations are always great fun.
So proud to have such a phenomenal art gallery here in Brisbane. Only 5/5 for everything GoMA related. Their Up Late shows in particular are awesome love having music in amongst the art!
I appreciated the time I spent here. Free admission was great!
Impressive gallery with great exhibition spaces. I really enjoyed the quality and standard of the graduate high school art exhibition . Exceptionally high standard of work and very mature for high school grads !
One of the jewels of the South Brisbane. Amazing place with great permanent exhibitions and spectacular events. Onsite coffee shop is an oasis in the middle of the city.
Love coming here, great exhibitions.
Fairly accessible (although buttons to open the main doors in & out of the toilets would be useful).
Very interesting gallery, free of charge, worth visiting
